Sonic Chronicles: The Series

“Hey, you’re Blur, right?” A cloaked stranger asked.
“Yeah.” Blur replied.
“That’s good. I came to tell you that the Hero Tournament is now up. And you, Rector, Jac, Ebon, Flash been selected as one of the challengers”
“The Hero Tournament?” Blur asked.
“A tournament that proves who’s the ultimate fighter in the thirteen corners of the galaxy.” The cloaked figure said.

“Whoa! This place is enormous!” Lucky exclaimed.
“And noisy.” Blur said, covering his ears. “What’s going on around here?”
Station Square was more crowded then it usually was when they visited. Street shops were popping up left and right, banners were being waved in random places, and over a hundred different species from other worlds were crowding up the street. Once or twice, Blur could have sworn he saw a living plant creature, a speeding dinosaur, or a being made of crystals.
“What is with all these guys?” Blur asked.
“I haven’t seen this many interspecies come together since the war 1000 years ago.” Heat said.
“Why are they here?” Rapid asked.
“Maybe it has something to do with this.” Wing said.
Wing bent down to pick up a flyer that was lying on the ground and handed it to Blur. The flyer had a full blown picture of Blur, Jac, and Mystic all facing each other surrounded by smaller faceless figures. It was an advertisement to reserve tickets for the upcoming Hero Tournament.
“Boy, news sure travels fast.” Blur said impressed.
The team spent most of their time looking around before making their way through the coliseum doors. They found Darkrion/Furion standing in the lobby. But what they didn’t know is the Red hedgehog with him was Mystic.
“Who is this Darkrion?” Blur asked.
“Will you just call me Furion already? That is my name.” Furion said. “This is my son Mystic, a master of Black Chaos energy.”
“That’s another rare type of Chaos energy like like my Nexus Chaos Energy.” Jac pointed.
“Exactly.” Mystic nodded.
Blur and Mystic shook hands with each other. Just then, the announcer, walked in on them.
“Ah, Blur, I was hoping of see you here.” The announcer said happily. “Now we can get this tournament really started. Follow me, boys.”

--Blur vs. Rector--

Blur stepped into the ring, for the first match of the Hero Tournament. His opponent was none other then Geisy’s older brother Rector. Blur looked out to the audience where he was his team waving at him; Blur waved back.
“Don’t get too comfortable.” Rector forewarned, moving into a fighters stance.
“You mean like how you’re never comfortable.” Blur stated.
“Aw, shut up!” Rector exclaimed.
“Let the first match of the Hero Tournament begin!” The announcer announced.
Rector charged forward with his palm held forward. Blur jumped back slightly as Rector swing his fist around followed by a roundhouse kick. Blur dropped down to the ground and slid between Rector’s legs and kicked around to push him towards the edge. Rector scrambled to keep himself inside the ring, but accidentally tripped backwards, which was considered lucky as Blur swung his foot the same moment he fell. Seeing an opening, Rector swung his foot around, which made contact with Blur’s face. Blur staggered back for a moment as Rector set himself up for a big attack.
“KNOCKOUT FIST!!”
Rector’s fists moved like lightening as they collided with Blur’s body in a blizzard of punches. The final punch lands Blur close to the edge of the ring; he appeared to be unconscious. As The announcer began the countdown, Rector moved in close to Blur’s body with a superior grin on his face.
“A wolf always gets its prey.” Rector gloated.
“There’s a first time for everything.”
Rector stared down in shock when Blur’s body suddenly curled and span rapidly in place. Blur shot straight up with his Spin Dash attack and slammed into Rector’s chin. Rector grabbed his mouth in pain as blood started to slip between his fingers. The Blur ball bound around the ring in random directions before turning fast towards Rector. Blur’s speed was so great that Rector had no chance to defend and was nailed it the chest.
“CHAOS STORM!” Blur shouted using his signature attack.
The force of the attack knocked Rector out of the ring and left him indented in the coliseum wall. Blur curled with a victory pose.
“A winner by a ring out is Blur!” The announcer announced.
The crowd roared in approval. Blur could make out his friends in the audience; all of them seemed proud of him.

--Jac vs. Ebon--

Jac graciously walked into the ring to prepare for the next match. His opponent was the skilled sword master Ebon.
“I expect your best.” Ebon said, moving to a fighting position.
“Too true.” Jac said. “May the better warrior win.”
“Let the second match of the Hero Tournament begin!” The announcer announced.
Ebon and Jac ran in forward and met each other in the center of the ring. Ebon threw a left swing with his sword, but Jac ducked down and rebound with a swinging crescent kick. Ebon caught him in the act and lifted his leg to block. Ebon raised his arm and swung his sword down at Jac’s leg, but Jac had already jumped back.
“Not bad.” Jac complimented.
“You too.” Ebon returned. “Time to amp things up.”
To anyone’s surprise, Ebon placed his swords in the shape of a triangle. Ebon closed his eyes while a third eye focused through the triangle, zoned in on Jac. A light wave of energy began to form around his body; everyone stared with interest.
“What is that?” Blur asked.
A red, yellow and blue beam of light started to form between Ebon’s hands. The resonating amount of energy seemed to be putting a strain on Ebon’s body as veins started to form on his arms and forehead. But Jac looked bored rather then concerned.
“TRI-ATTA-!”
“NEXUS WARP!” Jac called out.
Before Ebon could finish his sentence, Jac disappeared and reappeared above Ebon. Ebon, caught by surprise, unwillingly diminished his attack. Jac swung around in midair and slammed his heel at the top of Ebon’s head. Ebon landed on the ground outside the ring shortly followed by Jac.
“Winner by ring out is Jac!” The announcer announced.
“Good match, my friend.” Jac said as he offered his hand.
“Good match.” Ebon grinned as he took it.

--Mystic vs. Flash--

Now it was Mystic’s turn to step into the ring. His opponent was not what you would expect from a tournament such as this.
“Hey, don’t get so worked up, buddy.” Mystic said. “No matter what happens, we both gave it our best.”
“O-ok.” Flash said more confidently.
“Let the third match of the Hero Tournament begin!” The announcer announced.
“VULCAN RAY!” Flash yelled.
Barely a second after the match started, Flash held out his arm and pointed his pinkie finger, which ejected a thin beam of fire from the tip. Mystic barely ducked down in time as the thin beam passed over his head.
Whoa, almost had there!” Mystic laughed.
Mystic went on the offense and rushed at Flash, swinging his fist around. But Flash’s nervousness allowed him to dodge every swing.
“Whoa, I bet Flash would give Jac a run for his money.” Storm said in awe.
Mystic suddenly grew a silver aura around his body and shot a Black Chaos Cannon at Flash at lightning speed. Mystic nailed Flash in the stomach with his attack, which promptly knocked him out.
“Winner by a knock out is Mystic!”

--Apocalypse vs. Muscle--

The next match started out with two characters Blur had never seen before. The one called Muscle was a massive Ox with throbbing muscles and veins that looked like they would explode any second. The second one known as Apocalypse was hidden by his cloak.
“I’m gonna crush you like a grape!” Muscle yelled arrogantly, which Apocalypse seemingly ignored. “Hey, you listen when I’m talking to you! For that I’m gonna crush you twice as hard!”
“You arrogance is only surpassed only your ignorance.” Apocalypse stated.
“You little...!” Muscle seethed.
“Let the next match of the Hero Tournament begin!” The announcer announced.
Muscle wasted no time executing an attack. He brought both his arms up and stampeded towards Apocalypse like a raging bull. Apocalypse remained calm and held his hand to him. But when Muscle touched his hand and explosion was made, when it cleared Muscle was gone and Apocalypse cloak was thrown off revealing he was the one and only Apocalypse once known as the Black Chaos Emerald, leaving the crowd stunned in silence.
“Well, um...” The announcer said uncomfortably. “The winner by a...death...is Apocalypse.”
There was no applause, there was no cheer, only the shock of witnessing the match. He walked into the tunnel of the entrance, stopping only a few feet short of Jac as he passed him.

Later, Blur and his team met up with Mystic in the lobby. Blur was tapping his foot impatiently; his match with Jac was taking too long. But Mystic, on the other hand, seemed to be pumped more than anything. He was punching at the air as if he was facing off against some invisible opponent. Apparently, Mystic was not disturbed by Apocalypse’s earlier murder.
“You worried?” Rachael asked Mystic.
“No way!” Mystic exclaimed. “My match is going to be extra hard, which is exactly how I like em.”
“But he’s a killer. Only Blur has been able to beat him” Storm stated.
“I faced a lot of killers before.” Mystic explained. “The thing to remember is that victory can be achieved as long as you believe in yourself.”
“That sounds like something Rain would say.” Storm said.
“But he does make a good point.” Blur said.
Just then, the announcer ran in, wheezing, holding two notes in his hands.
“Hey, announcer, what’s up?” Mystic asked.
“Jac...Apocalypse...withdraw.” The announcer panted.
“What?!” The group exclaimed.
“You heard right, Jac and Apocalypse withdrew from the Hero Tournament.” The announcer explained. “Jac said he would try to find out what he was up to and Apocalypse thought it was a waste of time.”
“All right, Blur, it’s just you and me.” Mystic smiled. “Let give it our all and no holding back.”
“Funny, I was just going to say the same thing.” Blur grinned.

--Mystic vs. Blur--
The crowd was already on the edge of their seats by the time Mystic and Blur walked out to the ring. Mystic was stretching as the announcer walked out to the center of the arena.
“Ladies, Gentlemen, and breeds of all species!” The announcer shouted into the microphone. “It’s time for the match we’ve all been waiting for! Mystic, the Black Chaos master, vs. Blur, the legendary hero who defeated Apocalypse!” The crowd roared. “Both have come far, but only one will win! Let the final match of the Hero Tournament begin!”
Blur and Mystic jumped at the first second. Mystic threw a punch at Blur, who retaliated with a kick. But Mystic’s fist was stronger then Blur’s foot and was sent flying near the edge of the arena. Blur scurried away when Mystic dived in with another punch that made an indent in the arena. Blur lifted his leg up and swung around to trip Mystic behind his legs, but the energetic warrior was way too advanced to fall for such a trick. Mystic flipped backwards to land on his feet and threw an orb of Black chaos from his palms directly at Blur. But Blur dodged it. Mystic formed a barrage of black orbs into his Black Chaos Cannon attack, but all met the same fate as the first.
“Not bad.” Mystic complimented.
“I learned from the best.” Blur grinned.
“All right then, let’s take it up a notch.” Mystic said; he cupped his hands to the side to form a giant sphere of black chaos. “BIG BANG BLACK CHAOS CANNON!!!”
Mystic thrust his hands forward, expelling a massive amount of giant black orbs. Blur seemed frozen, having never witnessed an attack so powerful. Blur was a sitting duck when he suddenly felt something break in him. And, to everyone’s amazement, the attack was cut in half. When the light faded, Blur gazed down at the floor showing his reflection, he looked just like the Anti form only he was White, his skin was paler, the dark purple arm bands were now Gold and his eyes were Blue instead of Yellow, he had become Hero Blur.
“Whoa, I didn’t see that coming!” Mystic said amazingly.
“Me neither.” Blur said uncertainly.
“Well, I didn’t think you could actually beat that one.” Mystic said scratching his head. “Look’s like I’ll have to do better.”
“Hold up! There’s more!?” Blur screamed.
“Yeah, just wait until you see this.” Mystic said.
Mystic levitated into the air until he was twenty feet high. He raised his fist up, which suddenly started to gain a golden aura around it. Mystic, having gathered the energy he needed, rushed forward with his fist shouting.
“BLACK CHAOS FURY FIST!”
An explosion formed around Mystic, who was replaced by a gigantic black fist. Blur curled into a ball and used his Spin Dash technique in hopes of defeating the fist. Blur felt like an idiot when his attack rebounded off the fist and was now lying facedown on the arena floor. The dragon whirled around for another attack as Blur stood back up.
“What do I do now? I don’t stand a chance against him. And I don’t have any knowledge of this form yet to help me.” Blur thought hopelessly. “What do I do?”
“Trust yourself and let you heart guide you.”
He didn’t know why, but Blur compelled to hold his hand out and force all his energy into it. To his amazement, the wind around him began pressurizing in his palm and formed into a blue sphere of energy.
“Is that a…!” Rachael exclaimed.
“Chaos Hurricane?” Rosie finished.
“No.” Storm said in awe. “I think Blur's technique just evolved to its highest level.”
The black fist rounded itself towards Blur. With renewed confidence, Blur pushed himself off the ground and lunged head forward into the fist to face Mystic directly. Blur started spinning and collided with Mystic’s fist as he shouted.
“CHAOS....TOR-NA-DO!”
The black fist exploded in a display of lights. Blur and Mystic, both sustaining heavy injuries, fell back toward the ground and slammed into it with heavy force. A cloud of dust formed around the entire area; no one knew what was happening. Blur’s Team, the announcer, and the entire audience leaned forward as the cloud of dust started to fade. Blur landed in the center of the arena, but Mystic landed outside.
“It’s over!” The announcer screamed. “Our champion is, Blur Journey Blazer!”
The crowd burst in an explosion of cheers. Blur groaned lightly as he sat up; he quickly registered what happened. He won! He defeated Mystic! Blur could feel himself being lifted off the ground by the crowd and being carried over to Mystic and The announcer, who was holding a golden cup. The crowd set Blur down, The announcer handed Blur the cup, and Blur turned to the crowd.
“I’m the champ!” Blur shouted.

Later, the heroes met with Mystic and the announcer in the lobby. “That was awesome!” Mystic cheered. “I wasn’t even holding back!”
“I think I finally understand what it means.” Blur said. “About how to be a true hero.”
“Come again?” Furion asked.
“It the strength of your heart.” Blur explained. “And my strength comes from my friends. As long as I have something to fight for, I will truly become strong.”
“I didn’t think anyone could grasp that concept so quickly.” The announcer said. “He truly is an extraordinary boy.”
“Hey we need to find Jac, he might have found out how Apocalypse is still alive.” Jet reminded.
“Yeah, let’s go.” Blur nodded.
But while they exited through the door, Furion turned to Mystic.
"You were lying," Furion stated." You’re much stronger than that."
"Sorry, but I was telling the truth about that." Mystic smiled, Furion facefaulted. “I just hope Leon can unlock his full potential in time.”

One day Blur found a weird book outside, he brought it in it seemed to have a picture of a chao on it. Lucky seemed very interested in it.

Suddenly, Lucky’s ears twitched. He heard a voice; small and barely audible, but he heard it. Lucky reached out to touch the page, but he got more than he bargained for. The book suddenly immersed him in vacuum that sucked him inside. Before anyone could responded to this, the book slammed shut. Storm and Rosie tried to open it back up, but magic bounced off and strength was useless.

“What happened?” Rapid asked concerned.

“The book must have brought him into its pages.” Rosie said.

“How do we get him out?” Wave asked.

“We can’t.” Rosie shook her head. “The book can only be opened from the inside. It’s up to Lucky now.

Inside the book, Lucky wasn’t as sure as the others. He was sucked through a dark funnel, thinking light would come none too soon. Suddenly, he found himself with his face in the ground. He picked himself up; cracking his sore back, when he noticed his environment had changed dramatically. He was no longer in the base, but instead on a grassy hill surrounded by an array of bushes. In the center of the field was a fallen log with a mysterious green creature.

“Whoa, what happened here?” Lucky scratched his head. Lucky looks to the small green creature. “Maybe that little guy knows.”

He walks up the hill and waves to the little green creature. The green creature turned to Lucky. He was amazed that the creature looked exactly like a chao, but with a few slight differences. The creature was green, had three spikes sticking in the back of its head, and a bright blue ball hanging over it.

“Hey, little guy, what’s wrong?” Lucky asked.

“Oh, nothing.” The little creature said. “Just thinking.”

“About what?” Lucky asked.

“Just thinking of how to say goodbye to Wacky.” The creature said.

“Wacky?” Lucky repeated. “Who’s Wacky?”

“Sorry, I forgot to introduce myself.” The creature said. “My name is Wacky.”

“I’m Lucky.” Lucky greeted.

“Hello, Lucky.” Wacky smiled. “Have you come to say goodbye me, too?”

“Why would I do that?” Lucky asked in surprise. “We just met each other.”

“Because everyone else is gone.” Wacky said sadly.

“Gone? To where?” Lucky asked.

“I don’t know.” Wacky said. “We all used to live great here in Chao Garden. But now, everyone is gone. Even my favorite fruit tree has gone missing.” Wacky jumps off the log. “And who knows, maybe I shall be saying good bye soon? But how do you say good bye to yourself? Oh, my brain hurts.”

The little green chao walked away holding his head. Lucky was more then ready to follow when he suddenly found himself being pulled up to the air, as if by invisible wires. Lucky was sucked into the same funnel as before and landed on his face again.

“Why is it always the face?” Lucky whined. He pulled himself up and shook his head free of excess grass. “Where am I now?”

He like the last area, it was a grassy plain. The only difference is that there was a single palm tree surrounded by bushes. Closer inspection revealed Wacky inside a nest-like home holding a small jar.

“Aw, all out of fruit.” Wacky whined. “If only the fruit tree would come back. I’m really hungry.”

“Poor little guy.” Lucky whispered sympathetically.

“It is the fate of our people.”

Lucky looked back to find another chao. This chao was a Hero Chaos chao.

“My name is Charm.” Charm said. (This is my Chaos Hero chao in real life)

“Hello Charm.” Lucky’s said. “What do you mean by the fate of your people?”

“Well, ever since the pages were scattered, the life of the chao have been dwindling.” Charm explained. “But now that you’re here, there might still be a chance.”

“What can I do?” Lucky asked.

“Though the pages are together, they remain blank.” Charm explained. “It is up to you as the gatherer up the words to refill those blank pages.”

“How do you expect me to do that?!” Lucky exclaimed.

“You have already done it once.” Charm stated. “You filled the page we are currently standing in. It was the purity of your heart that wrote the words to this story.”

“So what do I do now?” Lucky asked.

“Just follow where your heart goes.” Charm said wisely.

Lucky felt himself being lifted up into the air again and into the dark funnel. Lucky was pretty much used to this by now. Except for the part where he lands on his face.

“Will I ever get a break?” Lucky thought angrily.

Lucky once again pulled himself up as he searched the new area. It appeared be a leafy meadow with a set of bushes and a calm water pond. But the main attraction was the giant tree filled with an assorted number of fruit of every shape, size, and color imaginable. Lucky figured it was the fruit tree Wacky moaned about when he heard a shy voice coming from it.

“Wacky? Wacky, where are you? It’s me, Magic!”

The creature that referred to itself as Magic came walking around the fruit tree, crying for Wacky. The chao was a running type hero chao.

“Wacky, this isn’t funny!” Magic cried, on the verge of tears. “Please come out! I don’t like being alone!”

Feeling sorry for the little chao, Lucky walked over to comfort him. Magic saw our hero’s shadow and stared up to see Lucky blocking his view of the sun. Lucky held out his hand, expecting the chao to take it, but got the opposite reaction.

“AAH! MONSTER!!” Magic screamed, running into the bushes.

“Well, that could have gone better.” Lucky sweat dropped. He walked over to the bush, where Magic was shaking behind his tail. “Come on out. I promise I won’t hurt you.”

“Liar!” Magic screamed. “You’re trying to trick me! Help! Monster!”

“I’m only trying to – yow!” Lucky yelped.

Lucky was knocked to the ground and felt a slight pressure on his chest. He groaned while extending his head upwards to gaze upon Wacky standing on him. Wacky looked ready to fight until he crossed eyes with Lucky.

“Lucky?” Wacky asked. “You’re the monster?”

“Yep, that’s me.” Lucky joked. “Lucky the monster at your service.”

“It’s ok, Magic. He a good guy.” Wacky explained, jumping off Lucky’s chest.

“Wacky, your back!” Magic cheered. “Where have you been all this time?”

“I don’t know.” Wacky said thoughtfully. “I was doing my daily run from Rainbow when everything went dark.”

“The same thing happened to me!” Magic exclaimed. “I was picking fruit from the fruit tree when it went dark. I couldn’t see anything anymore. I was cold and scary, like all the joy had been sucked out of the world.”

“But it’s all good now.” Wacky said happily. “We found you and the fruit tree is back.”

“That has to be good news.” Lucky smirked.

“It would be if it wasn’t for him.” Magic said sadly.

“Who?” Lucky asked curiously.

“Me!” A voice above yelled.

The trio shot their heads around to the direction of the voice; Lucky thought he had a whiplash. Standing at the top of the tree was another chao, but this one looked more menacing then the others. He was a dark chaos chao. The evil chao flapped his wings around the tree, laughing manically.

“Who is that freak show?” Lucky questioned.

“That’s Flame.” Wacky said seriously. “He’s a chao that became greedy and turned evil. We keep banishing him to the lower garden, but he always finds his way back.” The blue chao shouted to the black chao. “So what are you up to this time, Flame?” (Flame is my dark chaos chao in real life)

“Isn’t it obvious?” Flame sniggered. “Now that the pages are starting to restore themselves, I plan to conquer each and every one of them! Starting with the fruit tree!”

“You can’t do that!” Magic yelled.

“Oh, but I can!” Flame replied. “From this day forward, all the fruit of this tree belongs to me!” He flapped around, picking random fruit of the tree. “This one’s mine! And this one! And this one!”

“That fruit belongs to all the chao!” Wacky yelled.

“Not anymore!” Flame exclaimed, nesting at the top of the tree. “It’s mine! All mine! Bwahaha – awk.” He started coughing heavily. “Ugh, hairball.” (Do they even have hair?)

“We have to get him out of the tree.” Wacky stated.

“But how?” Magic asked. “He’s all the way up there. And if you if you get too close, he’ll knock you off with fruit.”

“Don’t worry, Magic.” Lucky chao grinned. “I have an idea.”

“That’s what he always says.” Magic sweat dropped.”

“Lucky?” Wacky asked.

“Huh? What is it?” Lucky asked curiously.

“I’m gonna jump on the branches to try and get to Flame.” Wacky explained. “Once I get to the top, I should be able to get a clear shot at him. But if he keeps knocking me down with fruit, I’ll never reach him.”

“So you want me knock away the fruit while you take care of Flame.” Lucky understood.

“Exactly!” Wacky exclaimed. “What do you say?”

“I say, bring it on!” Lucky roared eagerly.

Wacky ran up to the roots As Wacky jumped to the first branch, Flame began pelting the fruit down on him. Wacky dodged two of the fruit, but a third one was headed straight at him. At the last second, Lucky zoomed by and caught the fruit, giving Wacky a chance jump to the next branch.

“So you want to play, huh?” Flame sniggered. “Have fun with this one!”

Flame threw a pear shaped green fruit at Lucky.

“That’s it?” Lucky smirked.

“Don’t touch it!” Magic shouted. “That gable isn’t ripe yet! Its juices are filled with poison!”

“You’re kidding!” Lucky exclaimed. Lucky jumped of the branch as the fruit splattered over it. True to his word, the juices instantly dissolved the tree bark. “Ok, so he’s not kidding.”

Flame roared with laughter and started throwing nothing but gable’s at Lucky. The neutral chaos chao was jumping from branch to branch, each one dissolving in his wake. Lucky swerved around the branches until he stopped and realized he was thirty feet in the air without a branch to jump to.

“Aw, what’s the matter?” Flame cackled mockingly. “Out on a limb?”

“That was the worst pun I have ever heard.” Lucky shook disappointingly.

“Aw, shut up!” Flame exclaimed. “You’re in no position to be making remarks. You’re trapped thirty feet in the air with nowhere to go.” He readied another gable in his nonexistent hand. “So who’s the loser now?”

“That would still be you.”

Flame turned his head shockingly towards Wacky, who had snuck up the tree while his nemesis was busy with Lucky. Wacky curled himself into a ball and performed a move similar to Lucky’s Spin Dash attack. Flame screamed like shrilly, dropping the fruit he obtained. Wacky bashed Flame in the head, sending him flying away into the sky screaming.

“Curse you, Wacky!” And he was gone.

Wacky uncurled and threw himself out in a cheer.

“This page has been restored.” Charm advised, appearing from nowhere.

“Hey, Charm.” Magic greeted. “Have you met our friend uh...”

“Lucky.” Lucky said, giving a proper introduction.

“We’ve been acquainted.” Charm nodded. “Anyway, we have saved this page from Flame, but there are still four others.”

“Maybe we could head to Ninja’s house.” Wacky suggested. “He always keeps the best fruit.”

“That’s Wacky.” Magic chuckled. “Always thinking about his stomach.”

Wacky revved up his feet and zoomed off at super Lucky speed. Lucky was sure that his eyebrows had been singed off from the velocity. To his amazement, Magic floated in the air like a helicopter. He and Charm, who was levitating, flew off after their green buddy.

“Look’s like things are going to be interesting around here.” Lucky chuckled. “Well, time to fly.”

Once again, Lucky found himself being lifted into the air; the ground below him vanished in a wave of darkness. Lucky was being hurtled through the funnel when he suddenly lurched forward and Lucky landed on his face again.

“Why does this always happen to me?” Lucky moaned.

Lucky cursed his luck for landing on his face again. Lucky had once again traveled to a different location of Chao Garden. This time, he landed in a small forest where a stone house stood in the center; the front yard decorated with rows of grape vines. Lucky walked up to the wooden door of the stone home. But upon knocking, it wasn’t the kind of response one would buy.

“No one’s home.” A gruff voice called from inside. “Come back later.”

“Oh, ok.” Lucky said, turning to walk away. Two steps later, Lucky did a double take. “Hey...what time do I come back?”

Not the brightest chao, is he? As Lucky walked around the house, he was greeted by three friendly faces: Wacky, Magic, and Charm. They were gathered around and open hole in the side of the house.

“Hey, guys, what’s going on?” Lucky called.

“We’re just trying to find out how to get into Ninja’s house.” Magic explained.

“Who’s Ninja?” Lucky asked oddly.

“Ninja is one of Wacky’s rivals.” Charm explained. “He may not be as fast as Wacky, but his sheer strength makes up for that. We tried knocking, but he won’t let us in. He doesn’t usually like company except Melody.”

But as they were talking, none of them noticed Wacky slipping through the hole until a booming yell was heard.

“Wacky, get out of my house!!”

Panicking slightly, Lucky ran back to the front door. Lucky was always told by Alexis never to barge into a person’s home with out asking. But this was an exception. Lucky pushed open the door and walked in.

“Hey, Ninja.” Wacky greeted. “How’s life treating ya?”

“It would be better if you didn’t keep showing up!” Ninja yelled.

Ninja was a violent flying dark chao. At that time, Charm and Magic crawled through the hole.

“For the 24,736th time, Get out of my house!” Ninja yelled at the top of his lungs.

“Hey, fruit!” Wacky exclaimed, bypassing Ninja completely.

“Why do I even bother?” Ninja moaned. It was then that he took notice of Lucky. “Who’s the freak?”

“Who are you calling a freak?!” Lucky roared, waving his fist. Ninja grabbed the fist, lifted him into the air, and slammed him to the floor seventeen times before letting him go.

“Again, I ask, who are you?” Ninja repeated.

“The name’s Lucky.” Lucky groaned.

“Well, Lucky, I hate to repeat myself.” Ninja sighed. “But, get out of my house!”

“Ok, ok, I’m going.” Lucky said, walking towards the door. He walked out, slamming the door behind him. “Friendly little guy, ain’t he?”

Lucky walked past the garden of grape vines, grumbling on about Ninja’s rudeness. He was near the edge of the page when his ears twitched suddenly. He heard something; a small sequel from the house.

“Help!” Magic cried. “Somebody help Wacky!”

Scared for his little friend, Lucky rushed back inside the house, busting the door down. But there didn’t seem to be any signs of trouble.

“You sure know how to make an entrance.” Ninja grumbled, replacing his broken door.

“What happened?” Lucky asked.

“Wacky tried to crawl through the hole and got stuck.” Charm said annoyed.

Lucky sweat dropped. He couldn’t help but laugh as Wacky’s predicament; his tiny legs were squirming around frantically.

“Yo, what happened?!” Wacky called. “Did this thing shrink on me or something?!”

“All that fruit were straight through him.” Ninja grumbled. “Hold on, I’ll get him out.” Ninja pushed himself against the blue chao’s behind, but utterly failed. “Whoa, that fruit is some strong stuff.”

“Maybe we should pull him out instead?” Charm suggested.

The others agreed to Charm’s idea and stepped outside the house. The found Wacky trying to squirm his way out with no luck.

“This is humiliating.” Wacky muttered. “I’m the fastest chao alive and I’m stuck in a hole.”

“How do we get him out?” Magic asked.

“There’s and old recipe that uses grapes as a deflation solution.” Ninja explained. “All we need is enough grapes from my garden to get him loose.”

“Great!” Wacky exclaimed. “Just hurry before...”

“WACKY!!” A voice screamed.

“Oh no!!” Wacky panicked. “Get me out! Get me out! Get me out!!”

Lucky watched out the hill as a cloud of dust came zooming towards them. He soon realized that it was a chao moving at unbelievable speeds. The chao was a dark power chao. She bowled the others over and proceeded to kiss Wacky, who was screaming as if he was dying.

“Wacky!” The chao cried. “I thought I lost you forever!”

“Rainbow, knock it off.” Wacky said. “What are you doing here anyway?”

“I was playing with Happy when everything went dark.” Rainbow said. “I’ve looked everywhere, but I just can’t find her. Lucky I ran into you.”

“Yeah, lucky.” Wacky said sarcastically.

“What are you doing in a hole?” Rainbow asked.

“He ate too much fruit and got himself stuck.” Charm explained. “We’re going to make a solution from Ninja’s grapes.”

“There might be a problem with that.”

Everyone looked over to the grape vines to find the Flame grinning nastily. At once, Lucky had a terrible thought, which Flame confirmed by stepping on one of the vines before proceeding to the next.

“The grapes!” Magic cried. “If Flame ruins them all, Wacky will never get out!”

“I’ll take care of him.” Rainbow said. “Anything for my Wacky.”

“We’ll help too.” Lucky said; Ninja nodded.

At once, the three charged into the garden. Flame was about to stomp on another grape vine, when Rainbow’s flew in. Desperate to avoid her, Flame made another attempt, this time facing Lucky. Between the two, Flame would rather take his chances with Lucky. Flame flipped over and stamped the vine. He proceeds to the next vine until Lucky kicked him away. After a good five minutes, all of them were covered in dirt, panting.

“This...isn’t over.” Flame wheezed. He turned to run, only to come face-to-face with Ninja. "Oh, crud." The violent chao whirled his arm back and flung it into Flame’s face, sending him flying over the hill. “Curse you, Ninja!”

“Now that he’s out of the way, I can make the solution.” Ninja said, picking at the saved grapes. “You wait inside to get him out.” Inside Ninja’s home, Lucky waited irritably for a few minutes before Ninja walked through the door. “I gave him the solution.”

“So do I push him out now?” Lucky asked.

“No, allow me.” Ninja said sinisterly.

The red chao walked past Lucky behind Wacky. Ninja grinned wickedly as he whirled his arm and shot it like a rocket. A second later, Wacky burst through the hole and shot over the hills.

“Ninja!!” Wacky screamed.

“Think you might have overdone it.” Lucky said nervously.

“Maybe next time, he’ll learn to listen.” Ninja smirked.

Even Lucky couldn’t resist the urge to laugh. But the laughter was cut short when he felt himself being pulled through the roof and into the familiar dark tunnel. When the tunnel reached its end, Lucky reacted quickly by placing his feet forward. But surprisingly enough, he still landed on his face.

“How is that even possible?” Lucky asked.

Lucky picked himself up to stare around the page. Like the others, the area was surrounded by low hedges. A river ran by with a bridge hanging over it and a large tree atop the hill. The looked over to the bridge where he saw Wacky and Magic fishing.

“Hey, guys!” Lucky called, walking to them. “Anything good?”

“Nah, all we caught were whales and crabs.” Wacky said disappointingly, pointing back at the large pile of whales and crabs. Lucky was dumbfounded to where they came from. “We haven’t caught any good ones in weeks.”

“Wacky, I think I caught something!” Magic shouted, tugging at his line. “Feels like a big one!”

“Reel it in!” Wacky said excitingly.

Magic tugged at his line, but whatever he caught seemed to be putting up a fight. Lucky quickly took the line from Magic and ushered up all his strength to pull it out. Surprisingly enough, it wasn’t a fish, it was a chao. It a dark normal chao who had his head covered in a box.

“It’s Chappy! Chappy, what were you doing in the river?” Magic asked, hoping to avoid a fight.

“Flame jumped me and pushed me in.” Chappy said angrily. “I don’t know what, but he took something from me.”

“I think I know what.” Lucky said apprehensively. “Don’t chao’s normally have those balls on there heads?”

“What?!” Chappy exclaimed, looking up. He growled when he saw the ball was missing. “That Flame took it?!”

“That’s right!” Flame said, flying directly in front of the group. “I have taken Chappy’s ball and hidden it away where no one would find it. Now no one can stop me now!”

“Uh...why?” Lucky asked.

“I...never thought about that.” Flame said.

“You’ll think about it during your trip.” Chappy growled.

In one swift motion, Chappy kicked off the ground and jabbed Flame in the head. The evil chao was sent flying over the edge, “Curse you, Chappy!!”

“Ok...” Lucky said awkwardly. “Now what?”

“What do you think, moron?” Chappy growled. “We look for my ball.”

“Nah, I think I’ll chill for a while.” Wacky said lazily.

But when they stared at the red aura surrounding the black chao, they scrambled. Magic scouted the area while Wacky zoomed up and down the hill. Lucky pulled himself out of the river, gasping desperately for air, and flopped on the ground. For three hours, they looked with no such luck. Wherever Flame hid it, he hid it good.

“I can’t find it anywhere.” Magic reported.

“Nothing on my end either.” Wacky said coolly.

“Don’t worry about it, Chappy.” Lucky said calmly. “We’ll find it soon enough.”

“You idiots spent three hours looking without even a scent.” Chappy growled; the aura started to return. “You’d best start running. I am about to blow you straight to the lower garden!”

“Calm down, Chappy.” Lucky said soothingly. “Maybe we can work something out.”

“No point trying to talk to him.” Wacky stated, jumping in front of Chappy. “The only way he’ll listen is if you knock some sense into him.”

“Is this really necessary?” Lucky asked.

“Yes!” The chao replied.

“Just asking.” Lucky waved.

Lucky was backed into the tree when he started to come a little too close. He ducked when Chappy’s arm came flying near his head, splitting the tree down the middle. Sighing in relief, Lucky allowed himself to fall back on the ground. He shot up a second later when he felt something stab and his hindquarters.

“Yow! What in the-?” Lucky exclaimed. He reached back and pulled the pointed object off his bottom. It was a red spiked ball. “Hey, this belongs to anyone?”

“My ball!” Chappy shouted. He ran up and snatched in from Lucky’s hand. He threw it over his head where it floated in place. “Back where it belongs.”

“Flame must have hidden it inside the hollow of the tree.” Lucky said intriguingly. “It must have fallen out when you knocked it down.” He turned back to the black chao with a greedy expression on his face. “So, do I get a reward or something?”

“Oh, you’ll get something, all right.” Chappy said darkly.

Unfortunately, it wasn’t the kind of something Lucky would hold out for. The red aura returned to Chappy as he twisted upwards. His foot collided with Lucky’s chin, sending him flying through the air. Luckily, he was pulled through the dark tunnel and transported to the next page. He landed on his face again, but with time in a puddle of mud.

“Ok, there is no way my luck is that bad.” Lucky groaned.

Lucky pulled himself together and found himself in a swampy area. It was mostly covered by mud with a tall branch of grass in the center. As he stepped closer, he noticed a green blur circling around the grass.

“Wacky?” Lucky questioned.

The blur stopped to reveal Wacky, who greeted. “Hiya, Lucky.”

“What are you doing?” Lucky asked.

“Everyone went missing again!” Wacky yelled frantically. “I turned my back for one moment and they were gone! So I began following these tracks.” The chao pointed to the tracks in the mud, which Lucky was sure belonged to the naïve chao. “I think whoever caused these tracks might have taken them.”

“Those are your tracks, idiot.” A voice said in the grass.

The grass started to rustle as a figure emerged from the depths. It was relief to find that it was only Chappy.

“Chappy.” Lucky sighed. “Great to see ya.”

“Who cares?” Wacky said rudely. “All I want to know is what happened to the others.”

“Flame thought it would be really funny if he gave everyone bad directions.” Chappy explained. “Everyone was off their paths and split up somewhere in this swamp. I was planning to use this grass as a safehouse. I have already found one of them.”

Chappy parted the grass to show a small clearing inside. There stood a normal chao with an apple covering its face.

“Happy!” Lucky cheered.

“Oh, Wacky.” Happy said politely. “It’s so nice to see you again.”

“I think that’s enough sentiments.” Chappy said coldly. “We should focus on finding the others.”

“Don’t worry.” Lucky said. “We’ll find them before you know it.”

“Be careful.” Happy said softly.

“Can do.” Wacky smirked.

As Chappy and Happy took safety back in the grass, Lucky and his little chao walked further into the swamp. They reached solid ground within a minute and found a series of holes in the ground. The heroes thought of walked over them until they heard something coming from one of the holes. Wacky stared down the hole and shouted.

“Hey, it’s Ninja!”

Lucky looked down the hole and sure enough, Ninja was lodged in it.

“Ninja, how did you get stuck in there?” Lucky asked.

“Flame snuck up from behind and shoved me down here.” Ninja grumbled.

“How do we get him out?” Wacky asked.

“Just leave that to me.” Lucky smirked.

Lucky stepped up and moved over to one of the other holes. And he dropped a rock in it. The other holes in the area blew wide open; Ninja was launched out. It was lucky enough he landed in the grass between Chappy and Happy.

“Welcome back.” Chappy sniggered.

"Shut it." Ninja mumbled

With one down, the heroes continued their search. They climbed up a row of vines that helped them up to the second level of the swamp. They started climbing along a log that acted as a bridge when they heard a sudden scream.

“That sounded like Rainbow.” Wacky said worried. “Come on!”

Wacky zoomed on ahead, Lucky running his full just to keep up. They found Rainbow dangling by a thin vine over a twenty foot drop. Lucky cut the vine while Wacky jumped to save her. Once they touched ground, Rainbow proceeded with her usual kissing of Wacky.

“Oh, Wacky!” Rainbow cried. “I was so worried I would never see you again.”

“You say that all the time, Rainbow.” Wacky groaned. “Look, Happy’s waiting back at the tall grass. Stay there while we find the others.”

Rainbow nodded in understanding and kissed Wacky on the cheek; he wiped it grudgedly. As she set off, the dynamic duo resumed their search. Lucky jumped up to the third level of the swamp. Only thing really there was a large tree surrounded by an array of bushes. The only strange thing was that a small rock covered the base of the tree. Suddenly, they bushes started to rustle. Lucky and Wacky armed themselves for an attack. They were relieved and slightly disappointed that it was only Charm.

“Haven’t seen you in a while Charm.” Lucky greeted.

“A pleasure as always.” Charm said smoothly.

“Hey, Charm, have you seen any of the others?” Wacky asked. “We’ve found everyone except for Magic.”

“Magic is behind there.” Charm said, pointing to the rock at the tree. “Flame pushed him inside and closed him in with that rock.”

“Magic!” Wacky yelled, running over to the rock. “Magic, can you hear me?!”

“Wacky, is that you?!” Magic’s voice replied.

“Don’t worry, Magic, I’ll get you out!” Wacky shouted. The little blue chao walked backwards a few feet, revved up his feet, and shot at the rock. He was flattened against it and fell back. “That didn’t work.”

“Allow me.” Charm offered.

Charm held out his small arm, which started emitting a white aura. To Lucky’s surprise, the rock was also surrounded by the same aura and started hovering off the ground. Charm flung the rock over the edge. At the same time, Magic came bounding out of the hole, jumping up into Lucky’s arms.

“Lucky, I’m so glad you found me!” Magic cheered.

“Everything is ok.” Lucky said assuring. “Let’s get back to the others.”

The other chao nodded in agreement and followed Lucky back down to the lower levels of the swamp. It took them a few minutes to get back to the tall grass, having got lost twice on the way down. When they finally reached the tall grass, it was Rainbow who signaled their return. The other chao swarmed out in celebration except Chappy. But the celebration was cut short when Flame swooped in from the sky. Judging by his expression, he was not pleased.

“Drat!” Flame cursed. “I can’t believe you thwarted my plans again.”

“What plan?” Lucky chuckled. “All they did was get lost.”

“This isn’t over, you hear!” Flame proclaimed. “I’ll be back. And when I do, I’ll...”

Flame was smart enough to end his ranting from that point. Lucky and the little chao’s grinned widely as they edged closer to the evil chao, who found himself against a wall.

“Curse you – oh, forget it!” Flame screamed as he was flung into the sky.

Lucky and the others returned to the fruit tree on the second page. It was night time already and the full moon covered the page in its luminous glow. Lucky and the other chao sat around the fruit tree, gazing interestingly at the twinkling stars above them. This moment reminded Lucky of all the times he, Niko, Jake and Break would watch the stars.

“I’m so happy we’re all together again.” Happy suddenly said. “I was so scared being all alone.”

“Aw, Happy, you need to be brave.” Rainbow said encouragingly.

“You weren’t scared at all?” Happy asked amazed.

“Are you kidding, I was going out of my mind!” Rainbow laughed. “But always knew that everything would be ok in the end.”

“Flame will never stop giving us grief.” Chappy sighed.

“If he did, things would get boring around here.” Wacky chuckled. “Right, buddy?”

“Good point, buddy.” Chappy grinned.

“Hey, aren’t you two supposed to be rivals?” Lucky asked, confused at the two.

“We are bitter rivals...” Wacky started.

“But the best of friends.” Chappy finished.

Lucky stared momentarily at the two, but grinned either way. Lucky stood up and took one last look at the happy chao. They were a group of the greatest friend he had ever seen: the perfect family.

“Guess I should be going.” Lucky said.

“Where are you going, Lucky.” Magic asked.

“I have to go home.” Lucky said. “My friends are waiting.”

“Then we’ll be seeing ya.” Wacky said. “Remember: you are always welcomed at Chao Garden.”

“Come back soon.” Ninja said kindly. “You haven’t lived till you’ve tried my fruit recipes.”

“Ninja makes the best fruit foods around.” Happy complimented; Ninja grinned embarrassingly.

“Then I’ll have something to look forward to.” Lucky grinned, turning away from the group. “Later.”

Lucky walked away in the direction of the page exit. He stopped at the edge and looked back at chao, who were waving their good byes. Lucky waved back before vanishing away. At that same moment, a bright blue star passed over the night sky, the chao stared in awe.

Back at home, the book remained idly on the table. The book cover suddenly glowed. When the glow disappeared, the book title appeared: "Lucky and the Chao". A picture was always presented along with the title. Lucky was sitting in a field with all of his chao friends playing with him. Flame was seemed floating in the background and Wacky laid on his head. The lock that held the book emitted a loud click and vanished. But even though the story was over, Lucky knew this wasn’t truly the end. One day soon, he would return to the garden and maybe try some of Ninja’s recipes. He took the book and took to Alexis’ room.

The scene opens up at the Station Square Mall. Jet felt like he was living a nightmare; he kept punching himself in hopes of waking up. The reason for Jet’s grief is that Geisy and Kumori once again decided to go shopping. Wave said she wanted to buy new parts for the new Extreme Gear she was making. Wave pleaded Jet to come and, unable to resist her, accepted. He regretted the decision at once when he was forced carrying piles of cloths, weapons, and machine parts.
“Are you done yet?” Jet whined for the twelfth time today.
“No, so there’s no point in beating yourself up.” Wave stated.
“Although, it does add a bit of entertainment.” Kumori grinned.
“When will this nightmare be over?” Jet groaned.
“We’re going all the way.” Geisy said cheerfully. “We’ve already done this floor, so it’s on to the next.”
“We’ll at least it almost over.” Jet sighed. “I mean, how many levels could this mal have?”
“There are ten floors.” Wave stated.
Jet wanted to die on the spot. Wave, he could tolerate. But add Geisy and Kumori and you are practically in hell. Jet wished more then anything that something interesting would happen. No soon did he think it, a large explosion erupted from the fifth floor.
“Finally, some action!” Jet cheered, dropping all the shopping bags, then blowing on a whistle which made Blur appear and take the shopping bags.
The three females rushed to the elevators, soon followed by Jet. But the door closed before he could get there. Jet growled furiously as he trudged up the stairs. Up on the fifth level, Slime emerged from the debris of the jewelry store they had just destroyed.
“Hurry up, you shitake idiot!” Angevil said, hitting Shroom over the head. “Ugh, why does he have vines for feet?”
Slime held out both of his claws. In one claw, he held a purple key shaped jewel. In the other, he held a another one only it was Pink.
“Why exactly do we need these again?” Shroom questioned.
“Lord Apocalypse says they can restore his power.” Slime explained. “Though he doesn’t exactly know for sure, so he wishes to examine them.”
“He’s going to have a hard time doing that without them.”
Slime looked to his right as a fireball suddenly zoomed into sight. Literally knocking Slime head off (Though nothing on his body is attached anyways) and Wave stole the keys a moment later. Angevil began to perform a series of hand signs when Kumori jumped in connected her heel with the angel-devil’s face. At that precise moment, Jet came along, panting.
“They need more elevators in this place.” Jet wheezed.
“Why do you want this thing?” Wave questioned, holding up the key gem.
“That’s a question we want answered.” Angevil said coolly.
“Well, if Apocalypse wants it, it can’t be any good.” Kumori said.
“Be a good pack of rats and hand over the keys.” Slime said.
“And if we don’t?” Geisy glared.
“I am so glad you asked me that.” Slime sniggered.
Slime formed a goop arrow in his claws. Angevil held a trident and a winged staff and shoot out a fireball from them. Wave held up her wrench and Kumori went for a direct assault. On one side, we had the heroes. On the other, we have the villains. And in between the two attacking, we have Jet standing like an idiot.
“Why me?” Jet moaned.

The scene changes to night time at the Blur Team base. After hours of fighting Slime, Angevil, and Shroom, they dragged their feet back home. They were exhausted, but had managed to obtain a key.
“Finally, we’re home.” Wave moaned.
“Why do you think they wanted this thing?” Kumori asked groaning; she held up the key.
“I don’t know.” Geisy said, slightly yawning. “But it does kinda reminds you of the Trinity Emeralds, doesn’t it?”
“What do you think, Jet?” Kumori asked. No response. “Jet?”
The two female hedgehogs, their vision blurry from sleepiness, searched the dark living room for sad bird. They didn’t find him, but heard a loud snore. The noise was coming from the couch. The two females stared for a moment before edging themselves closer. They smiled at the sight of Jet and Wave fast asleep, cuddling against one another.
“Maybe we should let them sleep.” Kumori said. “We’ll worry about the emerald in the morning.”
They left the two love birds on the couch while they dropped the emeralds in the storage room. The two enjoyed the peaceful sleep, not knowing what strange occurrence they would experience. The next morning came quick. The rising sun past over the living room window and glared at the emerald hawk. Jet was waking, closely followed by Wave. The gazed lovingly at one another before sitting up. But all of a sudden, they back were aching terribly.
“Man, this couch is lumpy.” Jet groaned.
“Geisy needs to make better decision about...” Wave trailed off.
Jet eyes traced over to Wave, who had her mouth hanging wide open. A fly nearly flew down her throat. It was very uncommon to see the purple swallow act this way, unless it’s over a new Gear part. Jet followed her gaze and found he too was gaping. Meanwhile, in the room Geisy and Kumori shared. Both girls were pleasantly dreaming about their loves when a piercing scream woke them. Kumori fell over the side of her bed.
“What was that?” Geisy asked surprised.
“Sounds like it came from the living room.” Kumori stated.
They both made a dash out of the room, both still in their pajamas, and screeched to a halt as they entered the living room. Both Jet and Wave were sitting against the wall, both pale as ghosts.
“What happened?” Geisy asked.
“E-e-e-e-e-e-e...” Jet stammered repeatedly.
“Huh?” Kumori questioned.
Realizing they weren’t getting the message, Wave lifted her hand and pointed back on the couch. The female hedgehogs walked over and were surprised by their findings. A small blue egg lying perfectly still on the cushions.
“That’s it?” Kumori glared. “You’re all worried about some egg?”
“I don’t think that’s just any egg.” Geisy said.
“What do you mean?” Kumori asked.
“You’re smart. Think about it.” Geisy said. “Two birds sleeping together and find an egg the next day.”
“So you’re saying...” Kumori gasped.
“Jet’s a father!” Geisy cheered.
“NO!!” Jet screamed. “There’s no way that can be mine! I mean the eg should be a brownish blue”
“I...don’t know, Jet.” Wave said hesitantly.
Wave cuddled her egg close while Geisy and Kumori cooed at her shoulder. Jet, on the other hand, looked ready to explode. Nothing happened last nigh, he kept telling himself. Some one had set that egg there as a joke! There was no way he could be the father of some egg! He tried to tell this to Wave, but it was no doing. She carried the egg away, smiling fondly down to it.
“You must be excited to be a dad, Jet.” Geisy said, mistaking his confusion for happiness. “I wonder what it will be.”
“Hopefully nothing like Jet.” Kumori joked. “The world is bad enough with one mindless birdbrain.”
The girls laughed heartily, but Jet found no humor in the joke. He later set himself down at the table for breakfast. With everyone else out on missions, it was just him and the girls in the base. Kumori sat across from him while Geisy was in the kitchen. Geisy always did the cooking since she was the only one capable of not burning the food. Ironically enough, today’s breakfast was…
“Egg?” Jet said irritably. “Personally, I had enough eggs for one lifetime.”
“I thought you would be excited about being a father, Jet.” Kumori said.
“Well, you’re wrong.” Jet said nastily. “Being a father has to be the worst punishment ever.”
“How can you say that?” Geisy glared.
“I say that because I mean it.” Jet said venomously. “Plus I’m only a teenager.”
“Is…that how you really feel?”
Geisy and Kumori swerved around swiftly, but Jet remained in place. Wave had just walked in during Jet’s verbal assault. She was clutching the egg, which was wrapped in blankets to keep it warm. Wave looked hurt, but Jet either acted like he didn’t notice or he didn’t care. Geisy and Kumori were blathering up any excuse they could come up with.
“No, no, Jet was joking.” Kumori said feebly.
“Yeah, he’s really happy for you.” Geisy followed.
But Wave ignored the two female and walked up to Jet. The emerald bird made no eye contact as Wave was a few feet from him. He did glance at the egg momentarily, giving it an evil look.
“Jet, I want a straight answer.” Wave said; her voice breaking. “Do you care about our kid or not.
Jet didn’t speak, but that was answer enough for Wave. She was normally able to suppress such feeling as sadness, but this hit Wave hard. Tears leaking from her eyes, Wave stormed out of the base, the egg clutched to her chest. She made a quick run for her Gear and escaped into the forest. Jet remained unmoving, prodding his breakfast, while Geisy and Kumori were ranting.
“How could you be so heartless?!” Geisy roared. “Don’t you care about anyone but yourself?”
“Did you see the look on Wave’s face?” Kumori glared. “What do you have to say for yourself?”
“Pass the salt?” Jet shrugged.

The scene changes over to the central plaza of Station Square. The crowds of people were eye a purple swallow, who was crying with an egg held to her chest, as she passed by. But Wave didn’t care what they thought. How could Jet just abandon his own child? Wave had always agreed that he was great leader; a little ignorant, but great. Being a father wasn’t that bad was it? Jet’s father must have thought that too. Maybe that’s why he –
“Wave!” Wave turned on her heels as Geisy and Kumori, both shaken, ran up to her. “Wave, are you ok?”
“What do you think, genius?” Kumori commented.
“I’m just trying to be supportive!” Geisy snapped. “You could do the same yourself, purple!”
“What did you call me?!” Kumori screeched.
“Guys, enough!” Wave cut in. Geisy and Kumori silenced sadly. “Listen, I know that I’m a little upset about Jet. But I’m not worried. Somehow, I know he’ll grow use to the idea of being a father.”
“You really think so?” Geisy asked hopefully.
“If I know jet, he will.” Wave smiled.
Wave wasn’t sure if she was right, but she felt confident. Jet was just in shock and would come around eventually. Wave walked around the plaza, spirits raised, conversing Geisy and Kumori about what the baby would look like. Wave nearly killed Kumori when she made the idea that her child would end up like Storm. All in all, it was almost a good day.
“Such a sickening sight.” The girls turned and looked towards the roof of a local café. Angevil stood at the edge with Slime and Shroom on either side. “It’s almost as Burynt’s constant smoke.”
“My, I had no idea you were the jealous type, Angevil.” Slime sniggered; Shroom Roared in laughter.
“Shut it!” Angevil snapped.
“What do you clowns want?” Geisy sneered.
“We want the key back.” Shroom said.
“Well, for you information, we don’t have it.” Wave stated.
“That’s all right.” Slime said malevolently. “We could always have some fun with you three.”
“Get them!” Shroom screamed. Slime and Angevil stared at him oddly. “What?”
Shaking his head, Slime jumped off the roof with his claw held out. He was aiming for Wave when Kumori suddenly jumped in. She spun around and directed her foot at the living slime. Slime raised his arms to block and was thrown to the side. Kumori rushed behind Slime with her speed, readying her fist to strike. But Slime flipped over the punch and grasped her arm as he landed.
“How disappointing.” Slime said coolly. “And here I thought this would at least be entertaining.”
“Don’t worry.” Kumori said. “The fun is only beginning.”
Kumori flipped over and the battle continued. Meanwhile, Angevil unsheathed her trident and lunged herself at Geisy. The two clashed with Angevil slightly pushed back from the impact. Using whatever strength she had left, Angevil swung around with a blinding kick. As Geisy staggered back, Angevil performed a series of hand signs.
“Heaven’s wrath!” Angevil exclaimed.
Taking in a deep breath, Angevil blew out a massive fireball. Geisy wasn’t scared. She readied her fist and swung at the burning flames. The bundle of fire was sent skyward, exploding in a flurry of flames.
“I must admit, that was highly impressive.” Angevil complimented.
“You haven’t seen anything yet.” Geisy returned.
Geisy and Angevil made a dash for each other. In the meantime, Wave was facing off against Shroom. He blasted a couple of fireballs at the swallow. Wave normally rolled away, but with the egg in hand; she didn’t want to take any chances. She held out her wrench to block the shots, but most of them passed through. One shot managed to drill into her leg, forcing her to the ground. Unconsciously, she released the egg, which rolled near Shroom’s feet.
“What’s this?” Shroom sniggered as he picked up the egg.
“Stay away from my baby!” Wave screeched.
“Your kid, huh?” Shroom grinned evilly. “Well, I haven’t eaten any breakfast. I think some scrambled eggs will do.”
Shroom raised the egg over his head hungrily. Wave staggered on her injured leg, wanting desperately to run and protect her egg. Shroom dropped the egg and closed his mouth over it when...
“Stay away from my kid!”
Next thing they knew, Jet landed with the egg safely in his hands. He walked over to Wave, who was staring in shock, and held out the egg for her to take back. She gratefully took it, but she was still confused on Jet’s reaction.
“Sorry, I took so long.” Jet said sheepishly. “You wouldn’t believe the kind of traffic on the way here.”
“I don’t get it.” Wave gasped. “I didn’t think you would change your mind so quickly.”
“To tell you the truth,” Jet said hesitantly. “When I found out about the egg, I was scared.”
“Scared?” Wave repeated. “Of what?”
“When we were little, you know our fathers went out on a mission.” Jet said apprehensively. Wave nodded slowly. “When they never came back, they were presumed dead. We were left on our own after that. With Apocalypse, there’s a good chance the same thing will happen to our kid. I don’t want him to go through that.”
“Jet, we won’t be dying for a long time.” Wave said calmingly. “And even if we do, he won’t be alone. There will be others to look out for him: Storm, Blur, Geisy. We can rest peacefully, knowing he’s in good hands.”
“Thanks, Wave.” Jet smiled. “I needed that. Now if you don’t mind, I’d like to finish this fight off.”
Back with the fight, Slime and Angevil surprisingly overwhelmed Geisy and Kumori. The female hedgehogs were thrown against the wall. Angevil waved her staff threateningly and Slime preparing for a goop arrow. As they closed in, Jet suddenly flipped in front of the girls with his fans out. The arrogant villains chuckled and thought nothing threatening about him.
“PRESSURE GUST!” Jet shouted.
The pressure built from his fans blew at everything within a mile. Everything it touched suddenly grew lighter and was carried away by the wind, Slime and Angevil included. Shroom quickly conjured an orb of energy and teleported both villains away.
“Jet, you were great!” Geisy cheered.
“I knew you had it in you.” Kumori grinned.
“You see, Jet.” Wave said happily, holding her egg. “Our baby doesn’t have anything to worry about. Its parents aren’t going anywhere.”
Yeah, I guess you’re right.” Jet said
“Look, the egg!” Geisy suddenly exclaimed.
Quiet unexpectedly, the egg started moving. The four gasped and eagerly waited for the newborn to break from its shell. The shell started to crack; there was movement inside. Finally, a large gap opened at the top and...
“AH!”
Much to their surprise, it was a rubber snake that popped out of the egg instead of a bird.

FUTURE CITY
“The waves are getting a lot stronger,” Rev said to Delight suddenly. “I think he’s close…real close. Tell everyone in the city to evacuate…leave this to me and the others.” Delight nodded, and went to spread the warning while Rev turned his eyes back to the great expanse of heartless and nobodies before him. He waited a few minutes, trying to key himself to the army, then raised his arms into the sky. “I summon the power of the god NEPTUNE and the great LEVIATHAN.” Rev shouted. ‘I won’t fail to protect anyone, I may be blind, but I will prove I don’t need sight to win.’ Rev thought.
“So…Paladin Master has banded together with Furion to guard these inferior beings…how ridiculous.” Burynt said invading threw a hidden base in an alley way. “Move aside and I won’t hurt you.”
Furion found this humorous. He expected to defeat both of them? He had to be kidding. Furion soon got his answer, when Burynt fired out mighty purple flames and sent all both of them careening, each punching holes in the walls. “Don’t tell me these were some of Apocalypse’s greatest warriors. Without the powers of Darkness, they’re weak.”

Blur didn’t know what to think at the time. A few minutes ago, he was minding his own business when Wing approached him. But he found himself under the gaze of a different side of him…a darker side. The only difference was anywhere where it was normally purple was a menacing black. That was an indication that this wasn’t the good Wing.
Immediately, he rushed up to Blur and tackled him. After that he began began firing hundreds of his dark magic attacks on him, Blur went into his hero form to stop him, but even with Chaos Tornado Wing wasn’t hurt by his attacks.
Fortunately for both of them, Tsunami had sensed trouble, and came as fast as he could, and quickly put Wing out of commission, after which his form reverted to its normal state. Blur had to know what was going on.
“I’m sorry Blur, but even I don’t know what just happened.” Tsunami said.
“What?” Blur protested. “That’s not right! You’ve gotta know something.”
“Well, I think something triggered a change, but what kind of power that can do that is unknown to even Giga.” Tsunami said. “But right now you need to gather the team and hurry to Future City, there’s some trouble brewing and Paladin Master and Furion are failing miserably.”
“What?”
“It’s more important you save your family and friends than worry about Wing, I’ll stay here with the guardians and watch him.” Tsunami said in a forceful way.
“Okay, I’m going.” Blur said before flying off.

“Man, I can’t stand that guy!” Rector roared as he heard the recording of the latest of Apocalypse’s cleaning. “He really is planning genocide of the universe! He’s the real threat to everything. He has to be stopped.”
“We should let Blur do that, he’s the only one who’s ever managed to defeat him.” Delight replied. Rector and Flash nodded in agreement.
“Okay, but right now we need to help all the injured people.”

“This is the place,” Rock said with a hint of pride after leading Blur and Leon to the site of where the supposed “war” was. As Blur suspected, there wasn’t an enemy anywhere in sight.
“Hey, take it easy, guys…” Blur said.
“We know, it’s just hard to believe that Apocalypse survived death 2 times. Even if we beat him again he might just survive.” Geisy said in fear.
“Then we’ll just have to keep trying until we destroy him.” Rave said with determination.
“I should have feared as much …” Leon sighed.
“I’m still stunned that anyone could do such a thing,” Emily said.
“No…not just who, what. Apocalypse is a virus that has assumed a living form.” Mystic said.
“If only there was a way to delete him.” Blur growled.
“If only we could create a vaccine that could destroy him” Multis sighed.
“You’ll never get the chance.” Everyone looked to see a pair of eyes that floated over a brown cape, X.
“YOU! YOU’RE THE ONE THAT ALMOST KILLED EMILY!” Leon shouted.
“Nice to see you again to, but now it’s time to fight.” X yelled.

"So which one of you will face me?" X asked.
"We better chose carefully for this guy, I've faced his before and even my Chaos Burst couldn't defeat him." Swift explained.
"I'll fight him, I know more Chaos moves then any of you here. This will be my fight." Mach said.
"Okay then, GET READY TO PERISH!" Mach threw a right hook straight to X, but instead the punch only struck air. Mach looked to see X gone. He had disappeared into thin air. Mach looked around and surveyed entire area for a sight of the mysterious X, but found nothing.
“You’re going to have to try harder then that, ex-perfect life-form.” X taunted from up top a roof. Mach turned quickly to see X, standing over them at the top of the structure.
“Get back down here and fight you coward!” Mach ordered.
“No one calls me a coward.” X whispered to himself. He then took an acrobatic leap down to the ground, and angled himself to Mach’s direction. Mach guarded himself for a collision with his strange opponent. But X took quick advantage of Mach’s thoughts about his attack and moved himself down right in-front of Mach. Then he soared and crashed into the ground directly in-front of Mach, creating a massive shockwave that passed into Mach, sending him backwards. The hedgehog flew back only a few inches, but this enough for X to follow up with his attack combination. X shot up like a firework and uppercut Mach in the chin, causing him to spin backwards. Then he turned over, still in mid-air, and let-out a powerful side-kick, straight into Mach’s back, as he still spun in the air. This caused the hedgehog to spin even faster than before. Immediately after the kick, X let out the third attack, a punishing axe-kick, which landed right in Mach’s gut, causing blood to spew out of his mouth. Mach crashed into the ground…hard. The impact was so powerful that Mach flew back into the air after he hit the ground, allowing X to unleash his final assault. X leaped into the air and sent his foot crushing into Mach’s stomach. He fell to the ground, unable to endure more combat with the masterful opponent for sometime, though he could still fight if he wanted too. Mach laid on the ground, struggling and squirming to try and bring himself to his feet. Kumori, having her hand covered over her mouth, was both amazing and drastically worried for the hedgehog’s health, she ran quickly to Mach’s aid, getting to his level by kneeling at his side. Mach coughed out some blood and looked at her with a smile. Kumori shed out a small tear out of happiness for the hedgehog being alive after his punishment at the hands of X, who Kumori shot her stare at in hate for what he did.
“I hoped that this would be friendly chat. I guess that isn’t going to happen.” X commented. He then got into his own fighting stance. The sunset’s redness clashing with the blue sheen of the city set the mood for the battle. X let out one hand and motioned his fingers to himself. “Bring on your best Mach.” Mach charged at once to X who had rolled away to dodge. They all followed him and then started their assault. Mach came in first with three side kicks, each blocked by X, who used his wrist-guards to parry off the attacks. After the third kick, X delivered his own right into Mach’s belly, sending him away into the air. Mach charged back to battle with determination in his eyes. He swung his foot across in a horizontal line, but X bounded away in the nick of time. He was so close to the his attack, he could feel the sharp breeze that blew away from the force of the assault. Then Mach swung backwards to rebound with a vertical smash, which was also avoided by one of X’s rolling away. The foot smashed in so hard, it was nearly-permanently sealed into the earth. Mach tried to pry his foot out but no avail. X used his new occurrence to his advantage and ran up to Mach and got him right in the chin, sending him flying backwards. X was then surprised when he got up again in his Chaos Boost mode. Mach attacked with full force, swinging his large fists at X, aiming to hit him straight in the forehead. But X ducked, causing Mach’s own fist’s force to pull the rest of him over X. X, slammed a hand up into the air, striking the Mach in the stomach as he flew over him. Then, X grabbed the temporarily neutralized Mach, and wrapped his hands around his throat. Then he choke-slammed Mach into the ground will much force, causing the ground itself to shake.
Mach then cupped his hands together, unleashing a large wave of electrical energy from his palm. X shouted out a laugh of amusement and shot his hand toward the blast, catching it. The blast made direct contact with its target, but no damage. But he wasn’t defending himself at all; in fact, he was absorbing the energy from the attack, making him more powerful. Mach noticed this and immediately cut his Chaos Pulse off. X clenched his fist with emitted small sparks and jolts of white-colored electricity. But his power gloating was cut short when a Mach came in to attack him from behind. He used his quick reflexes to grabs the attacking limb, but Mach took quick action and crouched down kicking X’s left foot out from right under him. X’s stumble caused him to let Mach’s foot go in order to recover. He used his hand to push himself back up to standing position. He then looked into the air and saw Mach, veering over only a few inches from the ground, with that same smirk of confidence he always had. “Become efficient with this, amateur.” X challenged. He then shot his fist into an open palm which unleashed the energy that he gained from Mach’s Chaos Pulse. It came in the form of a sonic boom, causing Mach to be forced to the ground and to cover his ears. X moved in and grabbed Mach by the neck and held him up. “You…are…a disappointment.” X raised his other hand to strike Mach in the stomach one more time before letting him down gently, but his action was cut short when his fist froze in place. He looked at to see it was surrounded by a light-blue glow, signifying psychokinetic activity at work. He then turned his head to see Mach, using Chaos Control in a new way. “Have a taste of your own medicine.” Mach gestured his hand over to the right, and one second later, X had just punched himself across the face. “A good shot, but you can’t hit what you can’t see.” X taunted. He then disappeared once again into thin air. Mach expected a surprise attack and kept his guard up. He looked around until he heard the rapid crunching of crushed rock. He turned around to see X coming in with a fist in-front of him. He fell to the ground on one knee, under the crushing force of X’s physical handling. X clasped his hands together and brought them over his head to unleash an over-head attack. “Break it up!” X brought his fists down with crushing force, which collided with the Mach. “Perfect…” Mach muttered under his breath, which caused some blood to streak out of his mouth. X raised a curious eyebrow and then Mach spoke.
“Chaos Battalion.”
X looked back to see 10,000 yellow arrows aiming at him, and before he could move away they all struck him.
“It looks like I’m not strong enough to win against you.” X said before exploding.
“He did it!” Multis cheered.
“Mach has done his part; I think it’s best that we let him rest.” Leon suggested. “TO BAD YOU WON’T GET THE CHANCE!” Everyone looked behind X to see another figure that had a computer grid under where it floated. “Oh, great. We have another one.” Rock stuttered.
“I am Net Surfer, I hold the powers of a virtual being. You may have beat X, but he was the weakest of all of us.” The new being now known as net Surfer explained. “So which one of you will face me?” Net Surfer asked. “I will.” Everyone turned around to see Wing flying.
“Whoa! He recovered quickly.” Rock exclaimed.
“Well bring it, Net Spear!” Net Surfer shouted throwing a spear made of data. Wing had no time to dodge and the spear went right threw him barely missing his organs.
For a moment, it seemed like Wing was going to completely lose again. The madness that had overtaken him a while ago was seeping into every portion of his mind. But just as it seemed the darkness would take complete effect, he felt something else within him. A strange feeling of warmth, counteracting the creeping cold of the evil sigil, suddenly manifested itself. While Wing’ outer form did not change, he felt the madness begin to retreat. The maniacal laughter that was brewing in his lungs died away, and his mind began to become clearer and clearer. Finally, he was able to remove the spear from his belly and force Net Surfer away.
“What in the…” Net Surfer gasped as he witnessed this sudden turn of events. As Wing tried to put some distance between himself and his opponent, he heard a less-than-pleasing gurgle from his belly. He looked down to see the area where Net Surfer had struck literally reconstructing itself. Tendrils of organs and flesh, wrapped in a strange menacing purple aura, began to grasp at and pull each other together, ultimately melding together. Before long, all signs of the wound had faded from sight.
“You…regenerated…” Net Surfer exclaimed as he picked up his spear. Wing, now having gained a huge advantage, felt invigorated and even more eager to fight. Without wasting another moment, rushed up to his foe and used his Psychokinesis and started to crush him.
“What? That’s it?!” Wing taunted. “You can’t just keel over now! I’m just starting to have fun!” Wing growled with a cruel smirk. “Scream your head off…and know how you’ve made the people suffer…they who showed me kindness, they who did nothing to you…”
Suddenly, out of nowhere, he heard the voice of Alexis calling out. She was racing in their direction, and Wing was shocked at what he heard.
“Stop it! Please, don’t hurt him anymore he's already destroyed! I beg you, don't do anymore!” She finally managed to shove Wing aside and put herself between Net Surfer and Wing.
“Alexis, are you crazy?! You would protect this monster?! He’s destroyed the lives of other people!” Even so, Alexis remained where she was.
“Yes I would, just because he’s done terrible things doesn’t mean you can take more than his life.” Alexis said.
“I doubt you’ll even make it to see Apocalypse.” Everyone turned around to see a red circle of light with a silhouette of someone.
“I AM THE KING OF SURPRISE, I AM…” The figure said, but before he finished Dash said. “A mushroom.” The silhouette fell revealing it was the living mushroom Shroom. “How dare you interrupt me!” Shroom screamed.

"I am Shroom! The fungus of mayhem." Shroom said.
"I'll face him; he seems weak on his own." Rock said.
"WHAT DID YOU SAY? I'LL SHOW YOU WEAK!" Shroom yelled.
“I just gotta keep moving…can’t let him get away…” Rock said to himself over and over as he sped along through the swamp in pursuit of Shroom. Never had he run so fast for so long.

Shroom quickly reduced his speed as he reached the appointed place. The rot here was much more pronounced, and the area was eerily silent. He noticed a hooded figure standing by the altar. Shroom waded over to the figure.
“SHROOM!” Rock yelled. “ARE YOU PLAYING WITH ME!?”
“On the contrary, Rock…I’ve never been more into a fight!” Shroom replied.
Rock delivered a hard punch to Shroom’s right cheek. The force of the blow rang through the entire swamp, and large ripples emanated from the spot where the two were standing. But Shroom didn’t budge an inch, though his head did turn a bit. Rock dropped his fist, and Shroom looked straight into Rock’s eyes.
“Eyagh!” Rock cried as Shroom delivered a fierce counterpunch, sending him flying. As he soared, Rock tried to right himself so he could land on his feet, but Shroom was able to keep up with him, and anticipated where he would land. He hopped into the air, did a forward somersault, and thrust out his foot, delivering a crushing heel kick to Rock’s nose and muzzle, knocking him into the mud.
Shroom watched as Rock pulled his face out, and savored the look of his bloody, muddy face. He tried to push Rock back into the mud, but his foot was grabbed. Rock stood up, causing Shroom to fall. Rock spun Shroom around like an Olympic hammer, and when he let go, sent him flying. Rock quickly followed after the flying hedgehog. Just like Shroom did, he leapt into the air to strike him before he fell. But instead of a heel kick, Rock delivered a series of punches before smashing Shroom into the mud. Both were soaking wet now. Shroom didn’t seem very tired, but Rock, still not fully recovered from his dash to catch up, was already beginning to feel stiff.
In another part of the swamp Angevil and Jasmine were duking it out. “Round and round I go;” Angevil cackled as she started whirling around Jasmine, forming several illusions as she did so, “...where I’ll stop, only I know!” Jasmine looked around frantically at the illusions. He had no clue which one was real. Angevil, meanwhile, came up behind her and kneed her in the back, knocking her forward. She turned around, only to receive a ferocious set of punches to her face and chest, and then an elbow to her gut.
Even with her powers, Jasmine was still at a major disadvantage. Angevil was able to run circles around her. She could barely move as she found herself picked up by her shirt by Angevil.
“What’s the matter, Jasmine? You can’t have had enough already?”
Jasmine rushed at Angevil again, but was stopped by a pair of claw slashes from Angevil’ sharp fingers, raking deep into the hedgehog’s flesh. Jasmine let out a blood-curdling scream as she took the blow, and stumbled backwards. She felt tears leak out of her eyes, and she got down and curled up, her hands on her head, sobbing and seething.
“Hmph,” Angevil said as she watched Jasmine. “I guess that didn’t do it.” But that was all she could say before Jasmine delivered a devastating punch to her face, sending him flying across the shallow lake and into a tree.
The shallow lake around the altar was boiling and frothing as if heated by a flame as Angevil and Jasmine continued their clash. Their battle was now going beyond the lake itself, and into the wooded area behind the altar. Giant trees were coming down left and right, shattered by the sheer force of the battle.
Jasmine finally managed to land a good solid kick to Angevil’ flank after a lightning-fast exchange of blows and parries in mid-air, and followed it up by grabbing Angevil and tossing her into the ground. Angevil managed to land on her feet and just barely dodged Jasmine’s next attack, a stomp from twenty-feet in the air which would have smashed her face in.
Jasmine got up just as Angevil rushed to grab her. But instead, Jasmine grabbed Angevil’ hands, and thus began a tense pushing struggle in an attempt to push the other over, or dislocate their arms, whichever came first.
The two, on some unknown signal, charged at each other simultaneously, each putting every bit of power they could muster into this final attack. The entire area was briefly consumed by a massive dome of shadow before a terrible explosion rocked the entire swamp…when it ended Jasmine was the one standing and Rock was beside her with the dead Shroom and Angevil. “You okay?” Rock asked. “Nothing my healing powers won’t fix.” Jasmine responded.
“Great…this is just great,” Leon sighed. “Can this get any worse?”
Slime smirked and immediately went on the attack, delivering a ferocious blow to Leon’s belly that sent him careening back into the wall. Slime dashed up and delivered a powerful double-fisted hit into Leon’s back, sending him careening down into the ground, apparently unconscious.
Leon managed to recover from the hit. His right arm had a large cut in it, but he didn’t seem to mind. He managed to strike with a blitz of his own strikes.
Slime, after shaking off the dizziness from repeated blows to the head, decided to change tactics. He formed a pair of soccer ball sized slime balls in his hands, he dashed away. Pointing them at his opponent, they began to fire a shower of smaller orbs, pummeling Leon.
Slime began to glow in the colors of the rainbow, and disappeared. He reappeared behind Leon, and pummeled him at an astounding speed, before sending him high up and then pounding him right on the chest.
Slime tromped over to Leon. He bent over and whispered something in Leon’s ear.
“No…it’s not true! That’s impossible!”
“It’s true!” Slime cackled again. He smashed Leon hard in the head, knocking him out. Slime appeared nearby Leon again, and reached for his broken body, lifting it to his face.
Slime then created a tsunami of slime that flooded the area, but Leon was still standing after all of that.
“Chaos…Burst!”
Slime fell to the ground dead being affected heavily by such an attack.
“Is it…over?” Flare asked.
“I’d say so,” Leon replied.

“Okay we’ve beaten five of them already; I wonder where the 6th one is.”
“Behind you” Everyone had no time to look as a mass amount of purple flames engulfed the area. Then the flame caster landed on the ground. “I am the strongest of the 6, Burynt!” Burynt introduced.
“Since he’s the strongest, I’ll face him this time.” Blur said.
The rain got more intense, as the two hovered there, at least two hundred feet in the air. Now, the final minion battle was at hand. Blur Journey Blazer, the greatest hero known today. Against Burynt, a master of the Purple flame.
“Then I’ll beat you to the edge of death!” Burynt roared, and charged at Blur, his claw poised to strike. Blur dashed away quite easily.
Finally, Blur countered Burynt’s claw swipe with a roundhouse kick in his hero form to his head that sent him spinning like a top. He followed this up with a backflip kick to his chin. As Burynt recovered from the two strikes, he met a skull-crushing overhead swing of Blur’s fist that sent him spiraling downward and crashing to the ground. He touched down and walked up next to the place where Burynt had landed. Even after all that, he was only moderately damaged. Blur then swung his arm band at Burynt, who anticipated it, and then grabbed the band with both hands.
Even so, Blur was not discouraged in the least. He pressed his attack further by dashing in his face, phasing around and grabbing his head and tossed him straight up. As he flew, he phased there, before powering up some more. As Burynt reached the height of the toss, Blur had crackling energy on his hands and feet. In a blur of dashing strikes, he smashed Burynt around, as if he was playing ping-pong with himself. Burynt grunted in pain with each hit.
Blur smiled even as he sought to catch his breath. Burynt was destroyed and could stop now.
The Ground violently starts shaking, the sky turns a dark red, the oceans blacken, the air becomes thick, spikes rise from the ground and destroy everything. "What's happening?" Flash asked. "I don't know." Delight stuttered.
"Do you know what's happening?" Blur asked Leon. "I regongnize the design of those spikes, NO APOCALYPSE COULDN'T HAVE!" Leon panicked. Suddenly a giant hand comes out of the ground and pulls Geisy with it. "Geisy!" Blur screams. Suddenly a weird black lokking 2 legged dragon appears with glowing yellow marking. "He did do it, the virus, he fused with and he will now destroy everything" Leon explained. "Oh great, now the whole planet is going down...and just when I was having a good life." Rock growled. "SHUT UP! You can't start talking like that, we can't let everything fall apart." Leon yelled. Blur stares at a tower next the dragon and at the top he sees a prison with Geisy in it. "There's gotta be a way we can save her." Leon assured. "Blur?" Wing asked. "I'm going out there, that monster is my responsibility" Blur shouted. "Blur wait!" Wing yelled. "I'm going damnit! Don't follow me." Blur screamed. He turned into hero Blur and flew up to where he saw Apocalypse on the creature. "Alright Apocalypse, against me you have no chance, so you'd better make your prayers!" Blur shouted.

We hear the sound of fire being shot to see Flash trying to open Geisy's prison. With each shot being ineffective. "No good, it won't open." Flash said. "What are we gonna do?" Rector asked worried about his sister. It wasn't until then that Delight noticed what was by the tower. "Guys...look over there!" Delight stuttered. The 2 looked to see the dragon and Blur. "HOLY CRAP!" Rector shouted. "It's Blur and...whatever that thing is." Flash stated. From the looks of things Blur's attacks haven't done a thing. 'Why do you resist me?'"I know that voice. IT'S YOU!" Blur shouted. "Glad to see you haven't forgotten since the last to times you fought me." Apocalypse stated. "Let Geisy go!" Blur shouted. "Never." Apocalypse chuckled. "What? Graaaagh!" But Blur had gotten hit by one of his spikes. Blur had been fighting twice as hard, but has now fallen unconcious by Apocalypse's attacks. "Does it burn? You still fail to see my ultimate power." Apocalypse stated. At another area Furion, Mystic and Paladin Master were watching the fight. "So whadda you think?" Paladin Master asked. "I may hate Blur's guts, but I hope he kicks that things butt." Furion responded. "He's pulled through before...beat US after all." Mystic said. "Must we bring that up?" Furion and Paladin Master asked. "Come on Blur, stop fighting like girl and beat him!" Leon shouted and soon looked at Wing to see him grunting at the fight. "Wing you alright?" Swift asked. "Leon, unlock my Dark Form, I'm going up there." Wing demanded. "But he said..." Leon said, but before he finished Wing shouted. "I DON'T CARE WHAT HE SAID, I'M HELPING WHETHER HE WANTS HELP OR NOT!" Everyone continued to watch the fight people were on edge seeing Blur getting beat so easily. "Great my energy's almost gone, and I'm starting to feel sick, Geisy I'm sorry. It's over." Blur said. "LIKE HELL IT'S OVER!" Dark Wing shouted. "Wing? I told you, I don't want your help!" Blur screamed. "SHUT UP ALREADY I'M NOT HELPING BECAUSE I THINK YOUR WEAK I'M DOING IT BECAUSE YOUR MY FRIEND!" Wing shouted. Blur couldn't help but stare in amazement. "I'll throw into the virus' mouth with my psychokinesis, then you destroy him from the inside with your Chaos Tornado." Wing explained. Wing threw Blur at the creature and it swallowed him whole. "NOW BLUR!" Wing shouted. "CHAOS TORNADO." Spikes suddenly came out of the creature. "NO! I SWEAR I'LL RETURN! JUST YOU WAIT!" Apocalypse screamed. Then he exploded and a bright white light surrounded the area. Everyone stood and watched in amazement on what just happened.

Soon Geisy woke up. "Blur? What's happened?" Geisy asked. "Don't worry Geisy, everything's gonna be alright." Blur assured "WHOO...is everyone okay?" Wing asked back in his normal form. He got his answer when Rock gave him a noggie and said. "Wing you little psycho!!!" "Well, Apocalypse is finished, I hope for good this time. I still can't believe what Slime told me." Leon said. "Don't worry, you'll accept it in time." Mystic explained.

It's been 3 months since the last battle with Apocalypse and since Wing assumed his strange form. Things had gone by and Future City was fully repaired thanks to the help of our heroes. Though things have been going on lately with the rumor of a new tournament. One day Blur goes into the workshop to see Tech working on something. "Hey Net Surfer, whatcha up to?" Blur asked. "Oh, I'm inventing a new way of battle for the new tournament that's going on known as: The Hero games." Tech explained. "Can I see?" Blur asked. "One moment." Net Surfer said before showing an area full of Red and Blue tyles in a checkers pattern. "It's called a battle grid, this allows fighters to compete in an infinite amount of space without harming anything else." Net Surfer explained. "Cool, well I'm gonna sign up for the tournament, later." Blur said before running off.
THE NEXT DAY
"Welcome one and all to the HERO GAMES! We have many great competetors especially some from last time. Plus we'd like to thank Tech of the Blur Team for inventing the new battle system to use in the tournament. Now first for the Hero games we will have an elimination race, your speed will be equal so that everyone has a fair chance. The first 16 to make it to the end will compete in the tag team round of the tournament. In this race we will have some obstacles, so be sharp. We will start in 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, GO!" All the racers started down the racing line determined to get to the goal quickly. "Your not passing me Blur!" Leon yelled trying to strike Blur with his Chaos Burst. "Then hit somebody else." Blur joked. The race was intense, everyone kept attacking others to get to the end. "I still say flying isn't fair here." Rock yelled when Wing passed him. "Dude, there are no rules remember?" Wing joked. Then they reached the first obstacle, a bunch of walls with one hole in them. "See you later." Blur said passing through. "I wish I wasn't so heavy with this water." Tsunami shouted. Then Flash passed him by at 4 times he speed. "WHAT!?" Tsunamiios shouts. THen the next obstacle came a storm of fireballs. Flash managed to run through since he wasn't affected by fire, though most of the competition was thrown back. "I guess these guys, knew what they were doing." Blur said. "Then why don't you run faster Blur." Leon joked. "Okay." Blur responded going faster making Leon's jaw drop open. Soon the next obstacle came, the room darkened. But most such as Flash had their powers to get around it, though it made it easy to get snuck up by an attack. The race was almost finished and the people in the lead were Flash, Blur, Leon, Mach, Blair, Kumori, and Wing. Finally the last obsticle came doors with symbols, though one of the doors had a different symbol, Blur figured out that ment it was the correct door and went through, while everyone who went through the wrong doors were shot back. Then came the finish line. The 16 that proceed are:

Match 1 Jac and Strawberry VS Emily and Alexis
"You take Emily Strawberry, I'll finish of Alexis." Jas whispered to Strawberry.
"Got it." Strawberry whispered back.
Jac stormed at Alexis firing Nexus Blast at her, Alexis fought back by flying into the air and having Lucky attack, but Jac knocked Lucky away and finished Alexis with his Nexus Wave. "This part of the tournament was to much for her." Jac smirked. Back with Emily and Strawberry, Emily was taking over by striking at Strawberry rapidively and she had to dodge to avoid being hit but she couldn't aim accurately with her attacks. 'I can't get a clear shot. I hope Jac hurries back.' Strawberry thought. "Somebody called?" Jac said from behind. Emily immediately started running in circles around them it impossible for her to be hit. "Great! How can we win now?" Jac growled. "I have an idea." Strawberry smirked, she aimed a nexus wave on the ground and caused a shockwave that tripped Emily. Jac then Fired a Nexus Beam at her knocking her unconscious.
"WINNER JAC AND STRAWBERRY!"

Match 2 Paladin Master and Furion VS Blur and Flash
Flash started off by firing his flames at Furion, but Paladin Master just blocked them with his own body. "You take Paladin Master bro, my flames can't hurt him." Flash said. Blur used his Chaos Tornado techinque on Paladin Master and he trapped both of them in the vortex from there Blur struck. while Paladin Master also used his fist, but it wasn't enough to stop him, Blur then struck Paladin Master right in the face. Back with Flash and Furion, Flash was schorching the area, while Furion fired a shadow blast at him, Flash at one moment managed to use his flames enough to hide in the and attack Furion from all corners, Furion occasionally attacked Flash and did some damage, but the flames never died out. Back with Blur and Paladin Master, Paladin Master kept Blur busy while he used his body to charge at Blur, Blur saw this and caused Paladin Master to strike himself. Eventually Paladin Master broke out of the Chaos Tornado and went to help Furion with Flash. Paladin master struck the flames and exstinguished them leaving Flash wide open. Blur came down by Flash's side. "You wanna try a team attack?" Blur asked. "My pleasure." Flash respoded. Blur used another Chaos Tornado and Flash fired his flames into it setting the tornado on fire and it struck both paladin Master and Furion knocking them out.
"WINNER, BLUR AND FLASH!"

"Get ready Rev." Mach said. Geisy and Kumori assended into their super forms, Rev jumped high into the sky and landed on Mach, Kumori and Geisy used their signature attacks knocking both of them unconscious.
"WINNER GEISY AND KUMORI!"
Match 4 Leon and Wing VS Delight and Jasmine
Leon immediately went on the offensive slicing through his opponents at light speed. "I've weakened them let's use are strongest attacks." Leon ordered. Wing used his Psychic Screw while Leon used his Chaos Burst. They flew 50 miles across the battle grid before landing and passing out.
"WINNER WING AND LEON!"
"Well that was a shocking round, especially when Rev cost him and his partner the match. Now we go onto the next round."

Match 1 Blur VS Wing
"So, I guess this is the fight between best friends?" Blur asked. "Yes, it is. But I still wont hold anything back, so bring your best." Wing shouted. Wing took to the air and began shooting Psychic Screws at Blur. Blur then went and used his speed charge and got Wing by surprise. "CHAOS TORNADO!" Blur screamed.
"WINNER BLUR!"
Match 2
Leon and Geisy were charging at each other with great speed. Geisy occasionally used Chaos Tornado, but Leon always dodged. "This is the worst." Geisy screamed. Soon she held up a white flag.
"WINNER LEON!"
Match 3 Kumori VS Jac
"Are you ready to lose to a girl?" Kumori taunted. "NO I PLAN ON WINNING IMMEDIATELY. Nexus Warp." Jac shouted pointing at Kumori teleporting her out of the battle grid.
"WINNER JAC!"

Match 4 Strawberry VS Flash
"Hey little guy, why don't you make this easier and forfit." Strawberry taunted. "No way! I worked hard to get here and I'll finish." Flash screamed. Flash used his fire attack, but Strawberry's nexus wave rebound it back at him with it actually hurtin him. Flash then charged at her, but Strawberry's nexus wave knocked him back again. "Give it up, you can't win." Strawberry taunted again. "N...no, I won't give up. I WON'T QUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUIIIIIIIIT!!!" Flash screamed and suddenly started glowing in a white light. "What's going on?" Strawberry asked. She gasped when she found her answer. Flash had been flashing a brilliant Gold. "I am...Super Flash!" Flash yelled.

"So you changed colors, that won't let you win!" Strawberry yelled making another nexus wave, but she gasped when Flash grabbed it in his hand and set it on fire. He threw it back at her at twice the speed. She was hit full force and was knocked unconscious.
"WINNER FLASH!"
"Now that last round was a surprise! It's time for our next round, things get intense from here."
Blur VS Jac
Flash VS Leon
Match 1 Blur VS Jac
Blur and Jac attacked each other fiercly, Jac smashing Blur with all his Nexus attacks, while Blur attacks with his chaos moves. "Blur, you stronger then I thought, but you aren't strong enough!" Jac shouted. "Then let's finish this!" Blur screamed. "NEXUS SMASH!" Jac yelled. "CHAOS TORNADO!" Blur yelled. The attacks collided, when it ended both of them were still sanding, but Jac unfortunitly had more energy, but before he could continue he suddenly fainted. "What's...happening?" Jac asked before he lost consciousness.
"WINNER BLUR! AND SOMEONE GET HIM A DOCTOR!"
Match 2 Flash VS Leon
Flash and Leon pummeled each other with their attacks. At one point Flash went into his Super level and started storming Leon with fire and Leon was hit by each one, but when it passed Leon went into his Vile form and grabbed Flash with his arm bands. "Time to end it." Flash shouted. He tossed Flash into the air and repeatively struck him with his arm bands. When he came down again Leon pulled out his finisher. "CHAOS BURST!" "You fight like people are all your enemies, even your friends in this tournament. This tournament, it's for fun...you've gotta realize that it's just a natural experience." Flash explained. "It's ironic you've been around as long as Blur has...and you still haven't figured out what it means to live...right now, I feel sorry for you." Flash continued explaining. "CHAOS BURST!" Leon screamed knocking Flash into his back. "You win Leon, but remember...there's more to life than fighting." Flash said before passing out.
"WINNER LEON!"
"Leon seems really agressive, well anyways it's time for the final round!"
FINAL BATTLE BLUR VS LEON
The two reached top speed and shot off down the walkway. Leon glared coldly at Blur, strafing closer to him, and then swung his fist straight at his muzzle. Blur quickly countered by doing a downward split, and then swung his leg at the back of Leon’s head, knocking him over a bit. “Nice move…” Leon said smirking slightly, “Now see mine!” Leon quickly pulled a sweep kick towards Blur legs, who jumped into the air to avoid it, taking advantage of it, Leon grabbed Blur’s foot and using some force, threw Blur out in front of him. “Whoa!” Blur exclaimed, surprised by the tactic. “CHAOS BURST!” Leon shouted. The blue blur slid backwards but jumped back up. “Oww…” Blur said, maneuvering himself along side Leon again. “That thing packed a punch; I might not have what it takes to beat you!” “Really?” Leon asked, raising an eyebrow. “Nope! CHAOS TORNADO!” Blur said, leaping up and spinning to make a tornado. He spun so fast the wind around him was pressurized into blade-like shapes, which came down and slashed into Leon hard. Leon doubled over, flinching from the blow, giving Blur a chance to slam into his back using his Homing Attack.
‘Darn…’ Leon thought, ‘Man this he’s tough…’ Blur thought ‘Not even Metal could keep up this well.’ He grinned slightly at that thought. ‘Finally, a challenge!’ The two leaped into the air and spun into balls, using friction to come at each other with lightning speed. The two hedgehogs ricocheted against each other like pinballs, each side trying to overcome the other. The last blow they exchanged caused Leon to fly up into the air. He quickly unrolled and came straight down at Blur and kicked him like a soccer ball down to the ground. “Oof!!” Blur grunted. He wiped some blood from his mouth, and then looked up to see Leon coming down at him with his foot out. Blur quickly rolled out of the way, causing Leon’s foot to slam into the walkway, making a large dent in it. Leon cursed in pain from the impact, only to see Blur shooting off again. Leon scowled and shot off after him. Blur darted right just before Leon punched him, causing the black hedgehog to only hit air. Blur grinned and said, "I swear Leon, you take fighting way too seriously." Leon scowled and leaped up, firing a Chaos Burst at Blur. "If you knew of my past you wouldn't say that Blur!" Leon retorted. Unable to react in time, the Chaos Burst slammed into Blur, who fell over, but quickly regained his senses and continued running.
"Sure I would. You need to stop looking back at the past and concentrate on moving forward!" Blur said, spinning into a ball and rolling at Leon, tripping him over, but Leon landed to his feet and continued running. "Is that how you spend life? Running away from your problems? How pathetic..." Leon said, quickly ducking a kick by Blur. "What problems?" Blur asked before doing a sweep kick, knocking Leon over. "I got great friends, the speed of sound, and I protect my home planet!" “No problems, huh?” Leon asked, and then smirked. “Until now that you’re up against one who’s better then you in everyway!” “Bring it on buddy, unless you’re invisible you can’t take me down very easy!” Blur said. “Bow down before your superior Blur.” He Leonly kicked Blur backwards, knocking him backwards. Leon said “I’m not finished yet Leon…” Blur grinned slightly, slowly standing up onto his feet. “Give me your best shot…” “Fine then…” Leon said, leaping into the air. “CHAOS BURST!” he shouted.
‘Just what I wanted you to do…’ Blur thought grinning. “Sorry Leon,” Blur said, looking up at the attack coming at him, “I might be stronger then you, or you might be stronger then me, or we could very well be equals. But there’s one thing I’ll always be better at then you!” “What’s that?” Leon asked, rather curious about his last words. “That’s something even I can’t answer!” Blur said, rolling into a ball and starting to spin in place. ‘What’s that idiot doing?!’ Leon thought. When the Chaos Burst came close enough to Blur, rather then striking him, the energy was pushed off course by the wind friction of Blur’s spin. The energy started to spiral around Blur’s body. Leon looked with wide eyes as Blur yelled, “CHAOS TORNADO!” spinning again and launching his wind blade technique again, this time the wind gathered the energy from Leon’s Chaos Burst and Blur forced it straight down at Leon. Caught off guard by the attack, the combined attack slammed into Leon, slashing him multiple times across his body. Before he could even land, Blur shoot down with another homing attack, slamming Leon into the ground. Blur landed to his feet and breathed heavily, exhausted from the burned energy. Leon weakly tried to push himself up to his feet, but the power of the attack had heavily drained him. “Impossible…” Leon said, coughing out some blood. With those words, Leon fell to the ground unconscious. “Game over Leon…” Blur said.
"IT'S ALL OVER FOLKS WE HAVE ARE WINNER! GIVE A ROUND OF APPLAUSE FOR BLUR JOURNEY BLAZER!"

Meanwhile, the G.U.N. construction crew was busy repairing the damages done to the city during the fight against Apocalypse. “If it wasn’t for the paycheck, I wouldn’t even be here.” One of the workers complained. “Shut up and get back to work.” Another worker said. the worked grumbled as he moved away the debris until he spotted something moving under it. “Hey, boss, check this out!” the shouted. “What is it.” the boss said crankily. “Check this out.” The worker said as he moved away the debris. “It’s just a hedgehog.” The boss said. “Well, it’s no hedgehog I’ve ever seen.” The worker said. The hedgehog turned to see the workers with its haunting yellow eyes. The hedgehog growled for a moment. The workers ran for their lives. "I swear Blur, I will get my revenge!" Apocalypse shouted.

Wing was in the workshop making some strange machine, suddenly Blur runs in. "Hey Wing, what are you doing?" Blur asked. "Trying to keep my mind off October 24" Wing said. "Did something happen on this day Wing?" Blur asked. "Yes, this is the day my mom got hurt." Wing explained. "Is this connected why Aura is your 'Half' sister?" Blur asked. "Yep. 2 years before me and Rock were even born, my mom and dad had been married for half a year, but one night my mom was kidnapped by the Sonic of an evil dimension known as Scourge, he soon did 'it' to her. My dad did eventually rescue her, but Scourge got away and soon my mother learned...she was pregnant. A while after I graduated from school being a child prodigy, my father told me about this. Ever since then my sister has been trying to find Scourge and kill him for what he's done." Wing explained. "That's so sad Wing. If I ever find that Scourge, I'll make him pay for what he did to your mother." Blur said. "Thanks Blur." Wing said.

It's been 2 months since Wing's and it's now Christmas Eve, Geisy Alexis and Jasmine we're at the mall to get present for everyone. Though strangly it was snowing in the mall to most people, but most figured out it was just a illusion being cast to make it more like Christmas. "I wonder who came up with this snow idea?" Geisy said to herself. "It's kinda weird though." Alexis said. "Well no matter where snow is, I'm happy." Jasmine said.'Well that explains a few things.' Alexis thought. Soon they saw Wing pass them by. "Yo Wing, Merry Christmas!" Alexis shouted. "You too girls." Wing said back. "He's deep in thought, I bet he's following through with X-mas romance." Jasmine snickered making Alexis blush. "If your into that why not explain what your doing for Rock?" Geisy asked. "I'm working on it." Jasmine sneered.

Outside Rector was building igloo to stay in for the rest of the day when Delight came by sliding on a sled. "Hey stick in the mud!" Flash shouted. "Your fixing my igloo if you break it!" Rector screamed. Though he was flung into the air when Rev came by on a board made of ice. Rector landed on top of his igloo unconscious.

"WHAT!? YOU STUPID..." Wing looks to see the same guy who talked to Ebon being chased by Rave. "Come on man! It's only 1000000000$!" The guy shouted. "That guys gonna be dead in a few minutes." Wing said before a explosion was heard. "Or seconds." Wing corrected.

At another part of the city Doru was holding a shield as 3 giant hands in the form of Rock, a piece of Paper, and scissors. "That attack seems pretty strong Rock." Mystic said. "I've been working on it for 2 months." Rock said. "Is your brother always like this on X-Mas?" Blur asked Rev. "Yep!" Rev shouted. "Well it's nice to see you again Doru. Are you sure that you don't wanna be part of our team's christmas party?" Blur asked. "I'm sure, I wanna be with my parents this christmas. Where is everyone else by the way?" Mystic asked. "Er..." Rev thought. "Well we haven't had much to do since we haven't fought anyone major since the Metallix gang. Though Wing has been acting very mysterious about something." Blur said. "Right..so I wonder what the girls got planned for ya. Well now I must go to my one true love, the VF3!" Doru said running off. "I don't wanna meet their kids." Rock said. "I think that's how the VFP was born." Blur sweat dropped.

Soon eberyone was back at the base. "Hey girls." Wing greeted. "Suddenly happy are we?" Alexis asked. "Well I just took a trip down memory lane today." Wing said. Suddenly Multis drove in. "Am I late?" Multis asked. "What do you think?" Jasmine asked. Then Blur came in. "BLUR!" Geisy shouted. "That's me alright." Blur chuckled. "Hey is that a mistle toe?" Geisy asked. Blur looked up to see a mistle toe on the ceiling. Blur than ran off with Geisy on his tail.

"Did any of you see the article the other day?" Rock asked. "I don't read the newspaper." Wing said. "There's a rumor Apocalypse is still alive." Rock said. "Well he has survived our battles in the past." Blur stated "Yeah good point." Rock said. Soon they saw a swarn of Heartless and Nobodies along with some new creatures ca;;ed Unbirths. "I guess they're right about that." Wing shouted. "We need to stop them quick. Move out!" Blur yelled. Everyone started running in multiple directions, but soon Espia came. "Perceptive boy, Apocalypse is like a cockroach." Espia chuckled. "Thanks for pointing out what we ALREADY KNOW!" Blur shouted. “Now, let the games really begin!” Espia said. Blur had no time to react when Espia showed off her increased speed and punched Blur in the face. Blur stopped himself by stabbing his foot in the ground. Blur’s head was throbbing and Espia went on the offensive again and swung her fist down on Blur. Lucky enough, Blur ran away just in time to avoid the blow. Blur used his speed to run behind Espia and Vulcan Fist her in the back. “Ahh!” Espia screamed in pain. “You little rat!” Espia elbowed Blur in the face to knock him off. She held up a strange ball. "Power of the virus that was once infused with Apocalypse, give me your strength!" Espia yelled, but suddenly she was struck out of nowhere and she fell to the ground dead. "OMG, what's this?" Blur asked himself. Soon the Wing was with him. "Blur. What the heck is that?" Wing asked. "The virus." Blur said. "Blur you've been injured. I'll take this thing and there's nothing you can do to change my mind." Wing said. Soon the virus reconstructed it's dragon like body. The virus flew low and attempted to smash Wing with its fist. Wing managed to fly away before it struck. Wing tried attacking it, but everything proven futile. The virus became quickly annoyed and shook him off. “This thing’s unstoppable.” Wing said. The virus summoned up a ball of dark energy in its mouth and hurled it towards Wing. Wing was paralyzed with fear and could not move. When all had seemed Lost, Blur jumped out of nowhere and pushed Wing out of the way. “I’m sorry about this virus.” Blur said. Blur raised his hand and Chaos Tornado'd The virus in the skull. But the virus survived. "NO WAY!" Blur shouted. Soon Rock, Geisy, Mach, Kumori, Leon, Flash and Emily joined up. "Guys." Blur said. "Blur, let's attack at the same time, then maybe we can stop this thing." Rock screamed.

The attacks all struck the virus and transformed it back it's ball state. "I'll hold onto this so no one can ever use it again." Blur said as he picked it up.

Blur was chasing someone who had kidnapped Geisy. "GET BACK HERE!" Blur yelled.

"Are you serious?" Geisy asked. "Yes it's true. Even I didn't know how it was done." Somebody said. "I'VE GOT YOU NOW!" Blur screamed. Blur soon saw Geisy was with Paladin Master. "Paladin Master?" Blur said. "Sorry for the kidnapping, but I had to be somewhere that Apocalypse wouldn't send his minions." Paldin Master. "I can get you to Apocalypse's base." "How?" Blur asked. "I used to work for him, so I have the power to open a gate to his base. Gather some of your friends. This is to tough for yourself."

A hour later, Blur had Wing, Rock, Geisy and Mystic with him. "Okay, I'll open the baase now, but I can't close it or you'll be trapped in there forever, so there's a chance your friends may come and help you." Paladin Master said. The team of 5 jumped in, but soon after Rev jumped in surprising Paladin Master.

Flash and Delight were explaining to Swift, Dash and Emily about the mission of Blur heading into Apocalypse's hideout. "IF THAT GUY THINKS HE CAN KILL APOCALYPSE WITHOUT ME THAN FORGET IT!!!" Swift yelled. "Blur can't do this with only 5 people, he needs whoever he can get." Dash said. "Then all 6 of us our going to go help him save our world." Flash cheered.

"So this is Apocalypse's base. It's kind of...empty." Blur said noticing only strange black slime shadow walls that he couldn't touch. Mystic turned around and said "Guys...we have a guest." Everyone turned around to see Rev. "REV!!!" Rock shouted. "What are you doing here?" "Helping, duh." Rev said. "Go home, you're blind and wont be able to fight in here." Rock sneered "Well the exit portal is on the other saide of the lair, I have to come with you to leave now." Rev said. "I hate you." Rock shouted. "T^T" "Well he will still have to come with us." Blur said. Soon they started to advance further along the pathway, though suddenly it was split up into 3 forcing 2 people on each path. "What just happened?" Wing asked. "The pathway somehow split apart." Mystic said.

'What's this weird circle.' "RUN ROCK RUN!!!" Rev said as some heartless started to chase him, soon Rev knocked them both into the hole. Soon Rock and Rev were in a strange room. "Rev, stay behind me while I go on ahead and destroy any enemies." Rock said before the 2 took off.

"What are these creatures?" Geisy asked looking at a enemy that wasn't a heartless or nobody. "This must be an unbirth. Watch your back." Blur said.

"PHEW, I thought that path was infinite." Wing panted. "Well I've lost sight of the others so we're on our own." Mystic said. Soon the path behind them disappeared. "Apocalypse knows we're here. He can change this area to his fiting and others misery." Wing shouted. "Right you R." The 2 turned to see a raccoon right next to them. "This must be one of Apocalypse's guards." Mystic said. "I'll take him." Wing said. Soon a platform with Blur and Geisy came. Soon Rock and Rev joined. "Hey guys you're just in time to see Wing fight this raccoon." Mystic said. "DEMON MODE!" The raccon transformed into a were raccoon and grew 2 times bigger and made a force field around him and Wing which was quickly closing. "Oh fudge." Wing shrieked. "We'll help!" Suddenly Flash and Delight jumped through an opening in the shield before it closed. "Flash and Delight? But how?" Mystic asked.

Inside Flash plowed his fire on the were-raccoon and Delight's paint brush paralyzed the beast wherever she put paint on it. "NOW WING!" Flash shouted. "PSYCHIC SCREW!" Wing screamed.

Outside the shield finally vanished. "You guys go ahead, we'll take this beast for you." Flash said. "Okay, come on guys." Blur said. The others ran off leaving the 2 and the beast alone.

This is it Delight, ya ready for this?" Flash asked. "Let's go!" Delight shouted. Flash fored his red prominence at the beast and struck it dead in the face. "With it's limbs paralyzed, it's trapped." Flash cheered. But his cheering stopped when he saw the beast moving again. "But how? I haven't melted the paint off." Flash shrieked. Delight tried her paintbrush again, but the creature kept moving and knocked her into the hole on the floor, but luckily Dash came and got her just in time. "Ya okay?" Dash asked. "I'm fine, but we still have Were-coon to take care of." Delight explained. "I don't think so, CHAOS BURST!" Leon shouted sriking the were-raccoon unconscious. "What happened to this raccoon anyways?" Aura asked. "This creature has somehow been tainted by Apocalypse without making him a Heartless or Nobody, or a new creature of his army known as a Unbirth." Flash explained. "We better go catch up, we can't leave unless we get to the end from what Rev said." Dash said. Though when they went for the path, it disappeared. "LEADING MOTHER OF..." Leon starting saying before a new path came. "That's convenient." Emily stuttered.

"It seems Raccoon couldn't finish his job, so that means we'll have to advance without him." Apocalypse explained. "So which 1 of us is gonna take them next?" "Head Cannon, he's the only other person who can control the security." Apocalypse screamed for no reason. Head Cannon rolled off wihtout saying a word. "Why is he on our team again?" "Because he doesn't want to be paid unlike you guys." Apocalypse yelled.

The main 6 of the infiltration mission were continuing on ahead without any real problems lately. "Okay I think we should let the others catch up before we continue, we can't afford for any of them to get lost in here." Blur stated. "We can't stop for that long, there could be even more minions waiting to attack us." Wing said. "Mystic, did you tell them where we were going?" Geisy asked, talking about the others who joined. "No, but someone else may have." Doru answered. "REV!" Rock shouted. Rock than went to attack Rev, but the pathways split taking Rev away from the others. "I was right. Now Rev is on his own and since he's blind he could die." Wing stuttered.

Back with the others, they had finished crossing the new path when they soon learned that they were at a dead end. "GREAT, WE TRAPPED!" Leon yelled. "(Like it's are fault.)" Flash whispered. "Maybe we should've asked that raccoon for info how to get through by threatening him." Dash stated. Soon the pathway they were on split into 4. Soon Flash and Delight were faced with some gun turrets. Swift was forced to fight for himself. Dash and Emily were surronded. While Aura was faced with an endless armada of robots.

Back with Blur, his groups was trying to reach Rev, but soon the pathway split into 3 causing Rock and Mystic to get seperated from them. "We're never gonna make it if this continues." Blur growled. "Then we should be right next to each other." Wing stated. With Rev he had finally been connected to a new path. "I'm gonna toss my cookies in a moment." Rev said feeling sick. "HAHAHAHAHAHA!" Rev soon faced the direction of the noise. "Who are you?" Rev asked not able to see his opponent. "I am cannon head, the moving had with cannon for a mouth." Cannon head said. Soon Cannon Head started attacking Rev, Rev was lucky to dodge everyone, but he knew he would be hit sooner or later. "I am cursed!" Rev screamed. Soon Cannon head shot Rev with 5 shots to the stomache. "FEEL THE WRATH OF MY CANNON BALLS!" Cannon head screamed. Soon enough Rock showed up on the path. "Rev." Rock stuttered. he went to help him, but he was blocked by the path tipping forcing him to hold on or he'd fall to who knows where. Soon Cannon head started to go insane, but he didn't relize he broke the security controls. Soon the pathways stopped moving and they were able to proceed on their own. "Rev run for it." Rock souted. "No." Rev sneered. "REV ARE YOU INSANE? YOU'RE BLIND! BLIIIIIND! IF YOU CONTINUE BATTLING YOU'LL SURELY DIE!" Rock screamed. "I don't care, I felt like I shouldn't have been part of the team because of that comment in the past, but I will never again! I WILL FIGHT FOR THE GOOD OF THE UNIVERSE! EVEN IF I DIE TRYING, I DON'T CARE IF I WON'T GO ANY FATHER THAN HERE, I WILL FIGHT!" Rev shouted. "..." Was all Rock could do. "Cannon Shot!" Cannon head shouted. Rev waited until they got close. "AQUA PRESSURE!" Rev shot all of his shots right back at him. "Is that all?" Rev taunted. Soon Cannon head grew 3 times his size and he grew 2 new cannon mouths. "MEGA CANNON BLAST!" Cannon head fired 2 giant beams, Rev tried to dodge, but was hit full force, at both of his eyes. "REV!" Rock shouted. Rev could only feel the intense sting in his eyes as he screamed in pain. Rev knew this would be fatal to him, and he looked with a furios look at his enemy with his eyes, but soon he saw his opponent clearly. "I see you, that blast fixed my sight." Rev grinned. "What?" Rock said in surprise. "Okay you beast, take this!" Rev gathered a bunch of water from his hands and formed into a giant sphere. "OCEAN PRESSURE!" Rev screamed as he slammed it into Cannon head completely obliterating him. "I can't believe it...Rev actually beat that thing and can see again." Rock stuttered. "I can't believe that attack fixed my eyesight, I thought it was gone forever, now I can be real help to the team." Rev shouted in glee. Soon Flash and Delight fell from the sky. "Hey guys nice of you to 'drop' in!" Rock joked. Soon Blur, Wing, Geisy & Mystic came. "Glad you could make it, I have some news." Rev said. "I CAN SEE!" Everyone dropped to the floor.

Back with Blur he and everyone had went on ahead, while Flash and Delight went back to help the others. Though they were getting annoyed that Rev was checking behind them every 10 seconds. Eventually they were placed by 2 pathways, 1 had silver markings and the other didn't. "Um...should we flip a coin?" Blur asked. Rock soon saw an avalanche coming from the non silver marking path. "NO! TAKE THE SILVER!" Rock screamed. Everyone ran up it to avoid the avalanche. Though they were soon swarmed by rock versions of Apocalypse's creatures. "Since when can Apocalypse do that?" Blur stuttered. "ROCK, PAPER, SCISSORS!" Rock shouted making his 3 fists appear and smash them all. Though he was to late to see all his friends were incased in clear rock. "What the?" Rock screamed. Rock was running for his life until he was surronded. Soon a meteor with eyes appeared. "I am known as Debris, the living rock." Debris said before he caused an avalanche. Soon Debris laughed in victory as he defeated all of them easily. Though his fun was cut short when Rock broke through all the rocks with his fist bullet attack. "Time to finish it. FIRE STRETCH PUNCH!" Rock shouted as Debris was frozen with fear and was struck full force by his attack and he fell into the abyss. "That was to easy." Rock muttered before his friends fell on top of him.

Soon Blur's team found a room called the cloning room. Apocalypse must get all his troops by cloning them. "Now I know why he has so many creatures." Wing stuttered. "Hold it right-t-t-t-t-t there! *Boom*" They looked to see a giant bomb walk near them. "HOLY!" Mystic screamed. "I am shortfuse, I will destroy you by self destructing. 3..." Rock used his strength and threw Shortfuse into the cloning factory causing it to explode. "Well that was nice." Leon said. The group turned to see the others. "You sure took you time." Blur joked. "SHUT UP!" Leon yelled. "So you've made it this far." Eveyone turned to see a hologram of Apocalypse. "YOU!" Leon shouted. "Well you shouldn't be rude when I tell you a secret to my latest plans. The virus you destroyed was the weakest virus you've ever fought. But I have a new super virus called Virus Infinity that will olbiterate you. So you better make your last moments enjoyable." Apocalypse chuckled. "I HATE HIM SO MUCH!" Leon yelled.

"Okay Ashurion it's time for you to step up and play." Apocalypse demanded. "Anything to kill Blur." Ashurion chuckled. "Good. NOW DESTROY HIM ALREADY!"Apocalypse shouted.

Blur and the others were running torwards Apocalypse's lair getting ready to attack Apocalypse. "Be on guard guys, we can't afford to mess up here." Blur stated. "Will you shut up!" Leon screamed. "You're an public pain in the neck Leon." Delight said. "SHUT UP!" Leon yelled. "Okay that's it!" Delight screamed. Soon a robot came by them for an attack. "You guys go ahead. I'll take this thing." Blur yelled. The others ran ahead while Blur and the robot clashed at each other with their speed. The robot fired blast from it's arms while Blur attacked. Soon the road stopped and they fought without moving every second. After a while Blur was getting tired. Though his friends all joined in to help out. "Uh oh." The robot said, everyone used their signature attacks and ripped it to shreds. They continued forward for a while until they came across a giant door. "Looks like this is our last stop. Be prepar..." "JUST GO ALREADY" Leon yelled interupting Blur. They all entered the door and were surprised at who they saw. "Hello...Blur." Ashurion chuckled.

"Ashurion? But I thought he was...Oh man!" Rev stuttered. "So this is the scary fusion guy you told me about?" Mystic asked. "Yep, the fusion of the heartless and nobody Ashura and Lightrion protected." Dash staggered. Soon Wing started walking forward. "Wing are you mad? This guy can't be beaten by 1 person." Blur screamed. Soon Wing became Dark Wing. "What the?" Ashurion staggered. "What's wrong? Did you just wet your pants?" Wing taunted. "I'll show you what real power is!" Wing then raised his hand and the matters of the intire dimension were ripped apart. "The base is getting wrecked." Ashurion said before he fell into the abyss below. "WHAT"S WING DOING? HE COULD DESTROY US ALL!" Leon yelled. Soon a warp field appeared, they all jumped in to save their lives. Soon while they were in the warp, they saw what looked likt the virus only it had 2 heads, wings, and a totally new body. But what shocked them the most was that Wing was glued onto it's stomache. "That's Wing?" Blur asked. "NO IT'S NOT! I AM YOUR WORST NIGHTMARE, I AM THE VIRUS INFINTY!" The creature said. "ANOTHER VIRUS!" Leon said. "When you defeated the virus last time, a piece of it flew off, Apocalypse found this piece and used the power of the crytal keys to give it power. Soon I was created, though your friend here allowed me to reach my full potential!" the virus said. "SHADOW BOMB!" Everyone was sent tumbling through the rest of the warp hole.

Blur and the others flew through the pathway that Paladin Master had opened. "I know what happened. And from I recently heard about this new virus, It will find the strongest person it can. And I think I know who that is...Eclipse." Paladin Master explained. "I'll go get Tech, everyone but Leon, stay here and help anyone in that virus' path." Blur said. Blur and Leon ran off. "I hope he'll be okay." Geisy said.

Back at the Blur Team base, Multis and Electra were fending off against heartless, nobodies & Unbirths that leaked out. "Ful Auto." Mulitis yelled. "There's no end these things. Do you think we'll be able to hold them off?" Electra asked. "I'm not sure." Multis answered. Suddenly Blur and Leon ran by. "On second thought. Maybe we can take them." Multis said with hope.

Inside the base Tech was in the computer room, he turned around when he heard Blur and Leon run in. "Bad news, Apocalypse made a clone of the virus and it's stronger. It's going after Eclipse, and Wing's stuck on it." Blur explained. "Come on. We can't let him be harmed." Tech said.

"It seems the time is almost here, I bet my creation will crawl to me instead with all the power, the souls of all my discarded minions, to make me 'THE STRONG ONE'! NOW BLUR I HOPE YOU'RE READY...TO BE DESTROYED FOR GOOD FINALLY!"

Rev, I want you to go home and warn mom and dad to get to shelter." Rock shouted. "Sure thing, this is way out of my league and I don't want to lose my vision again." Rev said before running off.

"Hey Leon." Blur asked. "WHAT?" Leon growled. "Don't try to hide it anymore, I know your not really living darkness." Blur stated. "I'm still connected to you, but not in that way. That's why I must beat you." Leon yelled. "Leon, you don't have beat me to prove anything, you're your own person. It's time you start actually believing that" Blur explained. "..." Leon was to shocked for words. "We still have to hurry, we have no idea where Eclipse is and there's a chance we can do nothing at all." Tech said. 'That damn Apocalypse, he's the worst thing I've ever met, well if I get near him then I delete his virtual virus but!' Leon thought.

"Flash says that these creatures are flooding the planet, stay where you are and help out everyone, we're the Blur Team, we fight to protect, not watch to be destroyed." Multis informed Rector. "He's right, okay you incomplete scum, feel my fist." Rector growled. Every part of the world was in termoil, everyone was running for their lives to get to safety, but no matter where they went, they were not safe. Heartless began taking peoples hearts to increase their kind, while some nobodies were created in the process, the unbirths started spliting in half to become even larger in numbers. "This is a worldwide emergency, everyone is under the threat of having their heart stolen, there's nowhere to hide, no where to run, just don't let them...AUGH!" Was the last thing the reporter said before he became a heartless. Far away heartfull and a somebodies watched all of this. "We can't just sit back and let everything fall apart." A heartfull said. "We must fight back, for the future of our planet and any other." A somebody said. The heartfull and the somebodies charged to help fight in this war.

"I've just recieved an e-mail. Multis says that the whole planet is being swarmed by creatures. We have absolutely no time to waste." Tech said. "You won't believe it, but I've detected where the virus is heading, the Hero tournament stadium." Leon said. "Then let's go. CHAOS CONTROL!" Blur shouted. The 3 soon warped to the Hero Tournament Stadium to see the virus and a cloaked man.

Soon the man was surronded by many souls. "Eclipse?" Blur asked. "Eclipse, what's going on here?" Tech asked. "Intresting, I knew the virus would come here if I had all the power from these souls here. Leon, you managed to something usefull for me this time." "You ugly monster!" Leon shouted. "Uh Leon?" Blur asked. "You don't notice, the person we're talking to is Apocalypse." Leon explained. "But how? He sounds Eclipse." Tech stuttered. "Tech you dissapoint me, you've shown me nothing is impossible." The figure said removing his hood to show he was Apocalypse. "His emerald..." Blur started. "It's missing a piece." Swift finished. "That's right, but like my first defeat, it opened my eyes to a new idea to destroy you, so I made a clone from the virus fragment into what you see here, VIRUS INFINITY. I soon learned after it was completed there was a way to make him stronger that I noticed from your friend Wing's little Darky form." Apocalypse exclaimed. "So what;re U gonna do now?" Blur asked in anger. "This virus will become me." Apocalyse chuckled. "No, don't be a fool!" Tech shouted. "NOW LISTEN VIRUS INFINITY! BECOME ONE WITH ME AND OUR POWER WILL BE UNSTOPPABLE!" Apocalypse screamed. The virus drove right through him soon a flash was created and Apocalypse's body was on top of the middle of the 2 heads.

Back with the others Rock and Geisy were talking. "So, how many areas are safe?" Rock asked. "Future City and Station Square are clear." Blair said. "Sanctuary village as well." Mystic added just appearing. "Well I hope most of the army has been taken care of." Rock said. "I heard Blur's at the Hero Stadium, I think you know what I have in mind." Geisy said. "Not so fast we're coming with you." The 3 looked to see Flash, Delight, Rev and all the Blur Team members. "Sorry guys, but I think you've played your part." Mystic explained. "Too bad, we're still not leaving." Flash said. "We stuck with you guys in the infiltration mission, and we're going to do the same here." Rev added. "We wanna save Wing as much as you, we'll do whatever we can, but just let us come with you." Delight finished. "Blur would be proud if he were here. "Behold, the true power of Virus Infinity in it's prime form." Apocalypse said. "You idiot, you've become more obsesed with power then me. At least I wouldn't cheat the power into my body." Leon growled. "What about a vaccine? Couldn't we just delete this thing like we did with Metal?" Blur asked. "No, he's edited the virus, I wouldn't be able to create one that could delete it in time without full info." Tech said in defeat. "Then there's only one thing for me to do." Blur said pulling out the virus sphere. "Blur U can't!" Tech yelled. "Everyone who asked for power from that thing got killed as a result." Swift said. "Well I'm not using it for more power, I'm using it to prtect my friends. For WING!" Blur said absorbing the virus. "WHAT?" Apocalypse yelled. Soon Blur had the virus' head as a cannon for his left arm and it's feet for leg armor. "Unbelievable...it's nothing like anytime anyone tried to gain it's power, but he's using it as armor." Swift gasped. "Ooh...I'm so scared, I will just obliterate you!!!" Apocalypse taunted. "We'll see about that." Blur smirked. Virus Apocalypse fired hundreds of energy beams at Blur, but he dodged them all like they were turtles. The virus soon tried grab Blur, but Blur contered by using his Vulcan Fist. Soon the virus tried biting him, but Blur managed to prevent the jaws from snapping on him, soon the virus turned it's hand into a sword and a laser, the sword came in close while the laser fired from behind, BLur was having trouble defending against both, and the virus' attack began more violent as time went on, but as a last minute attempt, Blur used Chaos Tornado and threw his arms back at him before Vulcan Fisting him in the face. Tech and Swift just stared with thier mouths wide open at the site.

The others were heading towards the stadium to go and help out Blur, until they were stopped by Ashurarion and Raccoon. "OH FOR ECLIPSE'S SAKE, WERE DID YOU GUYS COME FROM?" Lightrion shouted. "We're not that easy to get rid of." Raccoon said. "Great, were putting our actual test on hold then?" Delight asked. "We have no time left." Multis said. "Stand down." Ashurion said. "Huh? But why?" Raccoon asked. "We're not going to fight you, at least I'm not." Ashurion finished. "You knew what was happening the entire time weren't you?" Geisy asked. "Yes, I know what his true ambitions were." Ashurion said before the 2 disappeared. "Forget about them, let's continue." Ashura said.

"But, how? How can he control Virus proto's power?" Leon asked. "Of course! Apocalypse took over his Anti form, so Blur's body is accustomed to this kind power." Tech explained. "IT'S STILL NOT ENOUGH!" "Huh?" They both gasped. "YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND THE CAPABILITIES OF EITHER OF THESE VIRUSES! YOU'LL NEVER WIN!" Apocalypse screamed. 'Don't worry Wing, I'll rescue you.' "Tech, I need you to send all of the Blur Team's power into the Cannon." Blur shouted. "If you say so." Tech caused a light that reached their others and borrowed some of their energy. "What's this strange light?" Rev asked. "Was that...Blur?" Geisy asked herself. "Let's hurry, something wierd is happening." Rock implied. " ALL DONE!" Tech said throwing the ball of energy into the cannon. "Great. NOW...VIRUS CANNON!" Blur shouted striking Apocalypse and the virus' 2 heads. It looked like it was finished. Back after 10 seconds it got back up fully healed. "YOU'VE GOTTA BE KIDDING ME!" Leon shouted. "I told you. NOTHING CAN STOP IT NOW!" Apocalypse shouted. "I was sure it would overload the virus' body, Wing I'm sorry." Blur said. 'What are you angsting bout?' "Wing?" Blur asked. 'I'm alright, I'm reallly drained can't even talk out loud. Listen Blur I have a way we can stop this thing. Strike the area where I am.' "NO, THAT'S INSANE! THE ATTACK COULD KILL YOU!" Blur shouted. 'We've gotta take that risk, I know the others will come to help, and I don't wanna see them die, so please, just do it.' "Raaaaaaaaaaaaaah!" Blur screamed. "What the?" Leon gasped. "Aaaaaaaaah!" Apocalypse stuttered. "Now I see why Wing's dark form was so important, it comes from Yin in Chinese, so the power needed for the virus stuck itself on him like a ghost. When the virus was around him it caused the transformation." Blur explained to everyone. Leon was standing in place having flash backs. "It's ironic you've been around as long as Blur and you don't understand. I feel sorry for you." Flash said. "You are no longer needed, your just a wimp." Apocalypse shouted. "RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Leon yelled. "Leon?" Tech asked before Swift ran to Apocalypse on the virus. "STOP TELLING ME WHAT TO DO! YOU SON OF A BISON!" Leon shouted using a Chaos Burst at full power on him. "What are you doing you traitor?" Apocalypse asked. "EVER SINCE I MET YOU YOU'VE RUINED MY LIFE! YOU TOOK MY POSITIVE EMOTIONS! YOU TOOK MY SOUL JUST TO MAKE MY WORK FOR YOU! AND YOU TOOK MY REAL NAME! NOW IT'S TIME I TAKE IT ALL BACK!" Leon shouted. Soon an explosion was caused that destroyed the entire stadium. Soon all that was remaining was Tech, Blur, Leon, Apocalypse and Wing. "NO! MY VIRUS!" Apocalypse screamed. "I remember my name is really Swift. I'm finally free from him." Swift said. "The virus armor is gone." Blur said. "One virus cancelled out the other, so both viruses have been deleted permanently." Tech asked. "We still have him to take care of." Swift stated. "No. From right here, these matters are mine to deal with." Sonic said. "Dad?" Blur said. "WHO THE HELL ARE YOU!?" Apocalypse shouted. "I'm Sonic the hedgehog, leading rank of the GUN SWAT team. I here by place you under arrest for almost harming the planet." Sonic said. "I'll get back at you, EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU!" Apocalypse said teleporting. Sonic closed his eyes. "I knew he would get away. As for you Mr. Swift." Swift gulped. "You were once part of Apocalypse's association, I here by have to put you under arrest as well." Sonic said. "What?" Swift sputtered. "Dad." Blur said. "Hmm?" Sonic said. "Look I know I don't have much of a say in this, but Swift was the one who saved us in the end here. If he hadn't stepped in and help, we would have all been toasted. Plus he's been on the good side for a while, so I'm begging you, let him go." "Alright, I'll pull a few strings and keep him from jail, but he will have to have a day of community service as punishment." Sonic said. "Very well, I except my punishment...and Blur. Thank you." Swift said with a smirk.

The group of 4 were walking back to the base. "You sure you're okay?" Tech asked. "I'm fine, but there's still something I'm concerned about Apocalypse's true identity." Wing said. "Whadda you mean?" Swift asked. "When he fused himself with the virus, I heard Eclipse's voice, coming from his mind. I have a feeling that Eclipse and Apocalypse are somehow, connected." Wing finished. "HEY GUYS!" The 4 turned to see all their friends waiting for them at the base. "You guys stayed up this late waiting for us?" Blur asked. "Well it is new years eve and 11:59!" Geisy said surprising them remembering they had forgotten what day it was. Soon they saw the New year Spear drop onto the ground. "HAPPY 17th BIRTHDAY BLUR!" The others shouted again. "You know, I was thinking we could take a break from the hero bussiness, but now I see that's impossible." Blur said.

The scene opens up to the forest surrounding the Blur Team base. Alexis was peacefully taking a walk through the trees with her pet chao, Lucky. At that time, there were a lot of things going through the young rabbits mind. The fact that Lucky was the oldest living creature on the planet was defiantly something to think about.
Suddenly, a series of thuds and clanking noises came from the side, followed by a soft rustle. Alexis quickly grabbed Lucky protectively and waited for any more movement. There was another series of clanks and thuds, this time getting closer.
“What do you think it is, Lucky?” Alexis asked; the thuds getting closer. “Well, better to find out later.”
Lucky understood what she was getting at and willingly allowed himself to be curled into a ball. Lucky made a firm grip for the Lucky ball (No pun intended) at shot it straight through the bushes with unbelievable force. There was a whizzing sound, shortly followed by a hard thud.
“Chao!” Lucky cried.
“I’m coming, Lucky!” Alexis shouted.
Alexis pushed through the brush of trees and bushes towards the direction of Lucky’s chirps. After a couple of minutes, Alexis found Lucky floating around somethings; most likely the things she hit.
“Chao chao chao.” Lucky squeaked.
“What do you think it is?” Alexis questioned curiously.
Of course, Lucky wouldn’t have the answer; neither of them had seen either before. They defiantly looked like robots, but not one Metal or Eggman would make.One was a small yellow robot about Alexis’s size. It had a Blue crest erect from the center of its head, broad-chested, large Red eyes, and Silver wings. While the other one had a design similar to the gizoids from Nocturnus only he was white with golden armor ares, he had a red horn like Scylla's, a Blue fin like Charyb and with Charyb's leg design.
“Chao, chao.” Lucky squeaked, poking the robots heads.
“Don’t do that, Lucky.” Alexis said sternly. “I wonder what it is. Maybe Wing will know something?”

“Hey, everyone, I’m home!” Alexis called.
“Hey, Alexis, where have you been?” Geisy questioned. “I thought you would have been back a long time ago.”
“I was coming back when I found these.” Alexis said, pulling the strange robots into view.
“We better scan it in the workshop.” Wing suggested.
The heroes nodded while Multis lifted the little robots into his arms. After that everyone just got bored at left to do their own thing.
“Hey, guys, we’re finished.” Wing said proudly.
“So what’d ya find out?” Blur asked, jumping down from the ceiling.
“They're Gizoids! Just like Emerl.” Multis stated.
“So then they're dangerous, too?” Jac questioned seriously.
“But if he is, he would have attacked me.” Alexis defended. “I don’t think it would hurt anyone.”
“Alexis’s right.” Wing nodded. “We checked all its programming and system, but there was nothing dangerous about it. At least the white one.”
“That’s good.” Geisy said. “So where are the little guys?”
“We just finished fixing one up.” Wing stated, standing aside to reveal the white mysterious robot. “Say hello.”
The little robot’s eyes flashed for a moment, meaning he was back online after the incident with Alexis. The first thing he saw was Wing’s smiling face, which confused him for a moment. He was frightened by the sight of Multis and Jac, but calmed down when Strawberry kneeled down to him and patted him affectionately. Alexis and Lucky eyed him strangely. But when his senses roved over to Blur and Geisy, they received a completely different reaction.
“Mommy, daddy!” The robot cried. Unexpectedly, the little robot ran to Geisy and hugged her fearfully. “Mommy, daddy, I thought I lost you.”
“Aw, isn’t that cute.” Geisy giggled, looking to Blur. “He thinks he’s our baby.”
“I think you got the wrong hedgehogs, buddy!” Blur said. “We’re not your parents!”
“Then who are you?” The robot asked.
“The ones you called mommy and daddy are Blur and Geisy.” Alexis explained giddily, pointing to the people she called. “And that’s Jac, Strawberry, Multis, and my boyfriend, Wing. I’m Alexis and this is my pet chao, Lucky. What’s your name?”
“Hmmm, AH! What is my name? I can’t remember.” The robot stated.
“You forgot who you are?” Strawberry asked.
“Do you know how you lost you’re memory?” Jac asked.
“Well I was walking through the woods when suddenly a small white ball flew right into my head, then everything went all white, and then I can’t remember anything past that.” The robot explained.
“Uh oh, did I hit him with Lucky?” Alexis said.
Suddenly, the alarm went off. A video screen emerged from the wall and flipped on, revealing the G.U.N. Commander on the other side.
“Yo, what’s up?” Blur asked coolly.
“I think Apocalypse is up to something again.” The commander explained. “Reports from Station Square say Raccoon is currently robbing a local jewelry store. We believe he may be looking for the Moon Emerald.”
“NEXUS FIELD WARP!!” Jac shouted.
And in a flash of purple light, the six heroes vanished to Station Square, leaving the robot back at the base. In his eyes, the scene was playing over in his artificial mind, scanning Jac as he performed the Nexus Warp.

“Another Emerald to add to my collection.” Raccoon said malevolently.
“Why don’t to try asking nicely for more?”
At the sound of the voice, Raccoon shot around towards the entrance of the store. Out of nowhere, the Black Warriors were being tossed randomly at their master. Raccoon swatted them away, draining them of their life force, and gazed at the entrance where the Blur Heroes were guarding.
“Do you cease to annoy me?” Raccoon said irritably.
“Sorry, comes with the job.” Jac joked.
“Surrender the Sol Emerald!” Multis commanded, transforming his claw to a gun. “Or face eradication!”
“Sorry, I have my own plans for the Emerald.” Raccoon said wickedly.
“Whatever the case,” Geisy smirked. “We’ll just have to take it by force. I’m sure Apocalypse wouldn’t be too happy if we took the Emerald and beat up one of his men.”
“You still think I’m serving that lowly rat?” Raccoon cackled.
“What do you mean?” Alexis asked frightfully.
“I have defected myself from Apocalypse.” Raccoon explained. “I realized that Apocalypse was unfit to rule the world, let alone the entire universe.”
“You seem confident.” Blur complimented. “Think ya can take all of us?”
“In this form, no.” Raccoon replied.
Jac had enough and used Nexus Stretch. Jac’s attack nailed Raccoon in the center, but something didn’t seem right. All of a sudden, Raccoon’s body started to crack and shattered to a number of pieces. Soon the were form of were Raccoon appeared.
“Ok, didn’t see that coming.” Jac groaned. "I know this is a bad time, but that was cool.”
“You haven’t seen anything yet.” Raccoon grinned.
Raccoon took in a deep breath and exhaled with a wave of black flames. Blur grabbed Strawberry and Geisy before jumping outside the shop away from the flames. Multis crouched in front of Wing and Alexis, deflecting the flames away. The force of the flames was strong enough to push Multis out of the shop, dragging the two with him. Once outside, Wing grabbed Alexis by her arm and pulled her away from the fight. Multis tried to follow, but before he could even stand, Raccoon jumped out of nowhere and stamped down on the robot, smashing him to the ground. Raccoon inhaled once again, but lifted his forearm to block a kick from Blur on the side.
“Hey, not bad.” Blur commented. “You’re pretty good for a circus act.”
“And the fun has only just started.” Raccoon replied, pushing the hedgehog away. “I think we should move onto the finale.”
“Let me do the honors!” Geisy shouted.
The red hedgehog ran up behind the mutated alien and swung her fist across his head. But to the heroes’ surprise, Raccoon retracted his head back into his shoulders. Geisy was sent overhead of the were-raccoon at the time and was dazed at Raccoon’s unusual tactic. Suddenly, Raccoon’s head emerged from his shoulders and slammed into Geisy’s gut, sending her into the side of a building. Enraged by Geisy’s injury, Blur dashed around Raccoon, forming a whirling tornado of blue winds.
“You’re going to pay for that one, rodent!” Blur yelled furiously. “CHAOS TORNADO!”
Blur jumped out of the tornado over Raccoon’s head with his signature technique in hand. Just as he was about to bring it down, Raccoon’s tail acted on its own accord. The red tail wrapped itself around Sonic’s wrist, dismissing the Chaos Tornado, and tossed him to the side of the street, ending the blue tornado.
“You truly didn’t think it would be that simple, did you?” Raccoon cackled.
Raccoon took control of his tail and lashed it at Strawberry. Strawberry closed her eyes from fright, waiting for whatever pain would come; but it didn’t. Instead, Strawberry opened her eyes to find Jac pushing the tail back with his forearm.
“Jac.” Strawberry murmured gratefully.
“You dare to attack Strawberry.” Jac said angrily, tossing the tail aside. “Now you’ll have to pay. You with me, Multis!”
“Affirmative!” Multis replied.
Jac grabbed Strawberry around the waist and jumped away before Multis went all out with his gatling gun. Thanks to his thick fur, Raccoon was impenetrable to bullets. Raccoon once again exhaled a flare of black fire, sending the massive machine crashing into a nearby convenience store. Jac set Strawberry down away from the fight and charged forward to Raccoon. The red hedgehog extended both of his arms, wrapping them together to form a jet of nexus. Raccoon gracefully jumped over the torrent and landed on top of it with ease. Before Jac had a chance to react, Raccoon had already run up his arms and kicked him across the face. While still off the ground, Raccoon flipped around, grasped Jac by his head and flung him down the street and into a brick wall, splattering him across it.
“Ugh...anyone got a icepack?” Jac groaned.
“At that takes care of that annoyance.” Raccoon said, gazing at the Moon Emerald in his hand. “This will prove to you who is the strongest, Apocalypse.” All of a sudden, Alexis flew past Raccoon, taking the Emerald. “What?!”
“Looking for this?” Alexis asked, holding the Moon Emerald while still in midair.
“Return that Emerald at once!” Raccoon commanded.
“Sorry!” Alexis called back. “But I’m not allowed to give Moon Emeralds to villains!”
“You insufferable little creature!” Raccoon roared.
Raccoon up to the small hedgehog and swiped his claws to her. Alexis stopped flapping her ears for a moment so that she would drop slightly to avoid rodent’s claws. Alexis recalled Lucky in her hand, curled him into a ball and shot the tiny chao at the alien overlord. Raccoon merely swatted the tiny creature aside and swung around for his tail to get a good angle at the rabbit. Raccoon’s tail swiped across the girl’s face, forcing her to flop onto the ground, unintentionally releasing the Moon Emerald. Raccoon calmly walked over and picked up the Emerald; but not before kicking Alexis one last time in the face.
“Wing...” Alexis whispered hoarsely.
“It’s all right, Alexis.” Wing assured. “I won’t let anything happen to you.” He glared at Raccoon. “How could you do that? She’s just a little girl!”
“It matters not what she is.” Raccoon answered coolly. “Any one who interferes must pay the price of their deeds.”
“You heartless monster.” Wing growled.
“You flatter me.” Raccoon chuckled. “What’s say I put an end to that creatures misery?”
“NO!!” Wing screamed.
But it was too late. Raccoon breathed in and exhaled a massive wave of black flames. Worried for Alexis, Wing covered her body with his own, embracing the flames that scorched his body. Raccoon smiled with a malevolent victory; he had won. Or so he thought. All of a sudden, the black flames turned red and faded, leaving Wing’ body unmarked. But Wing was different. His eyes were blood-red.
“What is this?” Raccoon mentally questioned. “I haven’t seen this sort of power except with Apocalypse.”
Wing stepped forward, crouched down on all fours, and guarded Alexis’s body protectively. Wing uttered an inhumane growl from the back of his throat, signaling his rage. The changed hedgehog ran forward without thought and jumped at the alien overlord. But Raccoon’s worry seemed to fade as he watched the small fox’s movements. He simply swiped the hand and smacked the small fox to the side. As Wing tumbled across the ground, his features slowly returned to normal.
“Ugh, what happened?” Wing said, not remembering his change.
“How unusual.” Raccoon pondered. “He has great power trapped inside of him, but seems unable to control it. If he ever learns how to master that power, it would become a hindrance to me. Best finish him off while he’s still young.”
Raccoon calmly stepped forward; his shadow looming over the small animal. The other heroes, including Alexis, recovered from their fights and saw Raccoon approaching Wing. They tried to stop him, but Raccoon was already prepared to kill the hedgehog on the spot. Just as he was ready to breathe his flames, the robot appeared in a flash of light in front of him and kicked the alien overlord across the head. While Raccoon tumbled to his feet, the others stared at the robot.
“Where did he come from?” Blur asked confused.
“It looks like he used Nexus Warp.” Strawberry stated. “But how did he do it?”
“During our search, we came across something unusual in their systems!” Multis explained. “We were unsure what it was and decided to best leave it alone. It appears the Gizoid has a unit to mimic the tactics of others.”
“So he can copy our moves?” Geisy simplified.
“Affirmative!” Multis replied.
“Well, I’ve got to hand it to the little fella.” Jac nodded appreciatively.
“Go!” Alexis cheered.
“Huh?” Wing muttered noticing his savior. “When did you get here?”
“Don’t worry, Wing.” The robot replied confidently. “Just leave everything to me.”
“It doesn’t matter what you do.” Raccoon grinned. “In the end, I’ll be sending you to the junk pile.”
At once, Raccoon inhaled and exhaled another wave of black flames. Emerl waited and scanned his memory banks from the earlier part of the fight. He found the memory of Blur using his signature technique and scanned it.
“Chaos Tornado: copy complete!” The robot stated.
The robot held out his mechanical hand and called forth a large amount of orange chaos energy. He compressed it together and forced it into the shape of a sphere, similar to Sonic’s attack. With the attack set, the robot ran forward with the attack in front. Against all odds, the robot pushed away the black flames and drove the Chaos Tornado into Raccoon’s chest. Raccoon had no other choice but to flee and watch as his were body shattered to pieces. He could barely contain himself when the robot stole the Moon Emerald from him.
“This isn't the end, heroes!” Raccoon screamed before he vanished.
“That was tight!” Blur cheered, wrapping his arm around the robot’s shoulders. “Sweet way to use my move!”
“I must admit, he is better than I thought.” Jac nodded. “He would be a great addition to our team.”
“Addition?” The robot repeated. “You want me to be on your team?”
“Of course, silly.” Alexis smiled sweetly. “You were a great help and you could do even more good against Apocalypse.”
“So what will it be?” Strawberry asked. “Will you join us?”
“Of course!” The robot yelled excitedly.
“All right!” Blur hooted. “Party for..."
"How about we call him Light." Geisy said.
"Party for Light at the base!” Blur said.

One day, Rev had wandered into the forest. Soon he saw a strange object, it was some strange key, but it wasn’t a crystal key. He took the key back to the base. Rev showed Rosie the gem. She immediately realized that this was something very major and powerful, and decided to consult Flash, who possessed knowledge of such things. He found Flash and Delight together like they always were. They were working on a small garden they had started last autumn soon after they coupled up. Flash, suddenly sensing the massive energy approaching, turned to see Rev with the key. “Rev, lemme see that!” Flash said frantically as he swiped the key from the Rev. Delight looked on with her love, gazing in wonder at the key.

“What is it, Flash?” Delight asked. “It’s so pretty!”

“Rev…you’ve somehow found the Mind key!”

“…Mind key?” Rev asked, scratching his head.

“Bingo,” Flash replied.

“Delight, you’ve always had the tendency of being shy,” Flash said. “But I know there’s still something you won’t come to terms with.”

“There is? Please tell me what you mean,” Delight asked, nervous about what was going to happen.

“You’ll understand soon enough. Okay, Delight…do like we always do…relax and open your mind.” Delight sat down, took a deep breath and closed her eyes. Rev turned to Flash, and motioned for him to grab hold of his shoulder, which Rev did.

“Flash, are you sure you know what you’re doing?” Rev asked uneasily. Flash nodded and began to concentrate. Both suddenly had a feeling of vertigo as their spirits were pulled out of their bodies and into Delight’s head…

“Ow, my head…” Flash groaned as he opened his eyes. He found Rev waving his hand in his face, Flash pushed it away and sat up. He looked around and gazed in wonder at the sights. The entire expanse was a field of flowers, and pleasant violet-colored clouds dotted an otherwise clear blue sky. Though it was as bright as day, no sun was present to provide light.

But another notable feature of this setting was the presence of countless doors others made of white ivory. Wandering throughout the area were various versions of Delight, ranging from three years to fourteen. They were immediately approached by a version of Delight that fit her current self.

“How did you get in my thoughts?” she immediately asked.

“We’ll explain when this is over. But for now, we’d like you to join us and see THAT door.” He pointed to a set of double doors that towered above them all. One side was made of gold and silver. It was covered in all sorts of locks. And seeping out of it was a black fog that dissipated soon after it appeared.

“But that’s…”

“That’s got to be it,” Flash said, pounding a fist into his open hand in an epiphany, “that’s the door where the problem lies.” He turned to the hedgehog and gently clasped her hands. “ Delight, please come with us. You won’t be fully healed unless you confront whatever is behind that door.”

Delight stood uneasily, as if trying to summon up the strength to agree. Finally she nodded, and followed Flash and Rev through the fields. They noticed that the various Delights began to follow them and get in their way, all crying for them to stop, as if they were trying to impede their progress. By the time the trio reached the massive double doors, they had forced their way through at least a hundred of them. But they followed them no further than the doors. With that, Rev turned to Delight, and handed her the Mind key.

“Only you can unlock this door, Delight,” Rev said to her. “The key’s power should be able to let you do it.”

“Do I have to go in alone?” she asked nervously. This was answered by Flash clasping her hand and kissing her on the cheek.

“We’ll be right here,” Flash replied, “Like we have in every step of your path.” Delight smiled and turned to the doors. She held up the Mind key, which began to shine brilliantly like a star. One by one the locks fell off, hitting the ground with a metallic clatter. When the last lock had hit the ground, the double doors violently flew open, letting the black fog pour out at a prodigious rate. She began whimpering, as if she was about to lose. But Flash came over to her and embraced her from behind.

The torrent of black fog quickly dissipated. The double doors remained open, but revealed another version of Delight. But this one was different. She was chained up to the wall by some unknown force: her expression was in a constant expression of rage and hatred. Her eyes burned with hate.

“There it is. The anger you’ve kept bottled up for so long.”

“But my big brother said…”

Flash looked at her more sternly now. “It’s okay to be angry. It’s okay to be angry at those who have harmed you or those you care about. Your brother has belittled you and kept you down…and you’ve been keeping that anger in. You have every right to let it out.”

Delight gazed at the manifestation of her anger, who gazed back at her. Finally she stood up and went over to it, slowly and cautiously. Once she had reached it, they looked at each other for a moment.

"I'm tired of being chained here..." Delight's anger growled.

"I know," the one holding the Mind key replied. Nervously she used the powerful key to unchain the anger within her, simply by holding it close to each bond. But to her surprise, she had no time to react when that anger, now free, leapt at her and disappeared into her being. This event caused the Mind key to start exuding crackling energy and disappear. Delight starting breathing heavily, and was soon exuding the same energy.

“RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!” Delight roared out loud, unleashing a massive burst of energy. A violent gust burst from her, heralding the completion of her healing, and the awakening of her inner strength. The force of this change also forced Rev’s and Flash’ spirits back into their own bodies. They quickly came to and witnessed Delight’s new form.

“What in the world…” Flash exclaimed.

“How much anger did she have?” Rev asked before turning to Delight. “Okay, Delight, take it easy.” She looked at him, and screamed wildly.

“Fight me!” She roared as she rushed at Rev, ready to deliver a bone-crushing punch. Rev was barely to dodge it, causing her to ram into a tree, shattering it. Flash’ jaw dropped open. He was amazed at the girl’s newfound power, and knew she had to be kept under control. He began to plead with her to stop, using the soothing voice he used around her. Upon hearing her love’s kind voice, Delight’s anger died away, and she reverted to her normal self, and she clutched her head.

“Is it over…am I…okay?” Delight asked.

“Pretty much…” Rev replied. “But now we’ve got some anger issues to deal with.

The weirdest thing had happened today, it seems the one who caused Aura’s existence, Scourge had heard about the good deeds of the Blur Team and decided to destroy them completely, they fought for a while, but the biggest shocker was when Emily and Dash jumped in front of the fire of Scourge’s laser pistol which was heading for Swift and Aura.

Death was not as bad as it was made out to be. Dash lay facedown in a pool of his own warmth. But it wasn’t solid, liquid, or gas that provided this heat. But he was defiantly lying on something, something solid and moving. It tickled his fur as a breeze passed by when Dash came to realize it was grass.

“Where am I?” Dash asked openly. He mind swiftly remembered Scourge shooting him. “Am I dead? Is this the afterlife?”

“What going on?!” Dash asked frantically.

“Not really.”

He spun around and nearly recoiled in shock. Emily was walking towards him.

“I’ve been here once before when Leon died using his sacrifice attack, see that young girl right there?” Emily asked.

“What do you mean?” Dash asked.

“Do you not notice anything about that girl?” Emily replied.

Dash craned his head over his shoulder to look at the young girl. She looked quite happy with herself.

“Her eyes.” Dash said suddenly. “She has Aura’s eyes. And yours strangely”

“That’s because she is Aura, and so am I, at least a half.” Emily stated.

“Your half of Aura?” Dash asked. Emily nodded.

“Aura, hurry up.” A low, solemn voice called.

Dash and Emily simultaneous glanced over to one of the nearby hills.

“Be there in a moment, Swift!” Cream waved.

“Well, hurry up.” Swift forewarned. “I’m not going to hind burned because of you.”

“Let me guess.” Dash said amusingly. “I’m half of Swift.”

“Afraid so.” Emily explained. “It’s time for us to make a decision.” Emily said seriously.

“A decision?” Dash repeated.

“Follow me.” Emily instructed.

“How come?” Dash asked.

“The one that will make a dangerous part of everyone lives if we say no.” Emily stated. “When the time came, I would find you and train you enough to protect yourself. Now comes the time you knew the truth about yourself.”

“The truth?” Dash questioned.

“Haven’t you ever wondered why you seem nothing like even though Egghog cloned you from him?” Emily asked. Dash shook his head.

“He somehow got Blur confused with Leon before Apocalypse took him into his grasp” Emily explained ominously. “That data created you, and you won’t believe it, but he also got some of Aura’s data from Scourge and that created me, but at the same time, they lost half of their beings.”

“No way.” Dash said shaking; he didn’t believe what he had heard.

“That’s right, Dash.” Emily cut in. “The whole world may fall if we don’t return to them, so choose carefully.”

“Anything to save Aura.” Dash grinned.

“Looks like 2 are down.” Scourge chuckled

“Scourge, you cheapskate!” Leon sneered.

“That’s likely.” Scourge said sarcastically.

“Wha?” Swift staggered.

“Hold on for a moment.” Aura said. “Do you feel that?”

Swift focused. He could feel it too; a power unlike anything they had ever felt before. It was coming from behind them. The turned on their heels as Dash and Emily dragged himself up to his feet.

“He’s still alive, huh?” Scourge chuckled. “Persistent little rat.”

“Wait he’s up to something.” Wing warned.

“CHAOS DELETION!” Dash shouted firing a strange beam at Scourge, the beam made him turn grey and he disintegrated into nothing.

“Dash? What’s happening to you?” Blur asked.

“I’m returning to where I belong, I have learned I’m another part of Swift, and Emily is another part of Aura.” Dash said. “I have to rejoin him for the sake of the universe.”

“NO! DASH, PLEASE DON’T DO IT!” Aura cried.

“Don’t worry Aura; you will always see me, when you see Swift.” With those words he turned into energy and went into Leon.

‘And by the way Blur, I should let you know, the day you and Mach were born your mother actually had…triplets, you have another brother.’ Dash said.

"Aaaaaagh!" Flash screamed being blasted back by a shadow laser. "HAHAHAHAHA! You can't beat the power of Shadow Stream!" A robot known as Shadow Stream said. "Flash." Delight cried. "TORNADO BATTALION!" Mach and Blur screamed fusing their signature attacks together. Shadow Stream revved up his wheel and dodged every Tornado thrown at him and then he shot another shadow beam that struck Mach. "DANG IT! This guy's to strong." Leon screamed. "I'm lucky, I'm about to destroy the triplets of Sonic the Hedgehog." Shadow Stream said. "Wha?" Blur said. "But I haven't find my other brother yet." Blur stated. "DON'T TRY TO FAKE ME WITH THAT! I KNOW THE TRIPLETS NAMES ARE BLUR, MACH & SWIFT!" Shadow Stream screamed. "I'M HIS BROTHER!" Swift screamed pointing at Blur. "Flash." Delight cried. "Don't worry Delight I'm okay." Flash muttered. Delight turned to Shadow Stream and started to growl. "SHADOW STREAM, I WILL...KILL YOU!" Delight screamed flashing between her original color and Gold. "She has a Super form too? WHY DON'T I HAVE ONE!?" Rev screamed starting to change Gold. "UH OH!" Shadow Stream screamed. Soon everyone saw the super forms of Delight and Rev. "NO WAY! THEY HAVE SUPER FORMS!" Aura shouted. "OCEAN PRESSURE!" "PAINT PARALYSIS!" The 2 shouted aiming at Shadow Stream. But to their surprise, Raccoon and Space appeared and stopped the attacks. "THAT'S THE OTHER GIZOID!" Blur shouted. "You have only slightly tasted the power of The Black Flame gang." Space said before the 3 disappeared. "Great. We have something else to worry about." Blur said.

Westopolis was still being repaired from White Horror’s attack, but life had begun anew. People once again walked the streets of the city, milling around doing their business. Almost no one took notice of Rector walking in their midst. Even when Rector was noticed, all he got was a casual and short glance, nothing more.

As he reached a street corner, someone he recognized entered his field of vision. It was a pink female hedgehog...probably around eighteen years old. Something inside Rector suddenly stirred as he eyed the girl. He wasn’t sure what to make of it…he just couldn’t stop staring at her, taking in every single feature with a strange sense of satisfaction. It took him a minute or two, but Rector finally found the term to describe what he was feeling:

He was attracted to her. Rector decided to follow the girl and see where she was going. She simply went straight forward for about five blocks, then suddenly turned left down a side street…and now she was all alone.

As Rector continued to trail the girl, she seemed to sense that someone was following her, and looked back every so often. Rector was always able to find a hiding place, though. After looking back six times, she finally stopped.

“Whoever you are…show yourself.” Rector couldn’t help but find this completely amazing. He finally decided that it was time to reveal his presence.

“I’m completely amazed by how…?” Rector stuttered as he fully saw the pink hedgehog. “Kika?”

“Rector…you’re back!” she exclaimed. “But…I thought you were looking for your sister…”

“Well I found her 3 years ago…she apparently is the girlfriend of the world famous Blur.” he replied, and started to approach her.

Kika nodded. “I heard about that. What made you decide to come back to Westopolis all of a sudden? Are there still things on your mind?”

“No.” Rector answered. “I was looking for a different sort of fulfillment…”

“Are you okay, Rector?” she asked.

“Yeah…now that I have the courage to tell you something…”

Kika quickly picked up on his message and started to walk away. “If it’s about a date…forget it,” she said.

Something drove Rector on…like he was a fan that never turned off. “Kika, you don’t know just how it is to be lonely! I beg you, hear me out! I’ve changed! I’m not that selfish guy I once was 3 years ago” he pleaded.

“You seem the same to me.” Kika said.

Rector’s tone was getting angrier. “What do I have that makes me look the same?”

“Rector…it’s your attitude.” Kika stated

Rector was taken aback by this. “Geez, you don’t have to be that way.”

Kika blushed. “Oh…sorry…it’s just that…I’ve never seen you like this. It’s awfully sweet, but my heart still belongs to no one.”

Rector rose and shook his head. “…You’re just like you were three years ago. I admire that in a girl. Though Blur always found it annoying.”

Kika was starting to find Rector’s words so similar to hers. Rector felt he was getting somewhere, and decided to press on with his courtship. He decided to get closer. “Kika…I would give myself up for you…I want to be right here for you…always…I’m nuts for you, girl.”

Kika was exasperated by Rector’s words here…did he really find her worthy of his love, which he had kept buried within him for so long? She still couldn’t imagine herself and Rector together…she had always thought that they would be friends.

“After I found Blair, I wondered what was next. I needed fulfillment…and then I found what I needed in you…somehow. Why can’t you just forgive me…I don’t want to relive all the mistakes I’ve made…mistakes I’ve made alone…I almost killed my sister’s boyfriend before I found her. And I was a part of their team, but I had to leave so I wouldn’t interfere with my sister’s relationship, and Blur won’t let me rejoin until I can learn how to handle a relationship.” Rector explained. “Will you be my girlfriend Kika?”

“You sure know how to woo a girl, Rector…yes…I will…” Kika said.

One day Mystic was running to the Blur Team base after getting mail from his house. Soon he started knocking on the door like crazy. "What?" Blur asked. "I got this message the other day, and it seems so did you." Mystic said handing the letter to him. "Dear Blur journey Blazer of the Blur Team, you are here by challenged by the legendary 7 powers group, bring 5 of your friends with you to challenge us. Signed Leeader of the 7 powers." Blur read. "It seems some of the earth's greatest warriors have challenged us." Mystic said.

Later on, Blur explained to everyone about the letter he recieved. And the 5 that decided to fight were Ebon, Rev, Kika, Rector and Geisy. Soon they were in a forest where the 7 Powers were at. "So who are we against first?" Rev asked. "Against me." The others look to see 3 of the same person surrond them from all sides. "I'm your first opponent. The name's Mult E Ply, but you can call me Mult." Mult said as the other 2 of him disappeared. "Whoa! He can multiply and divide." Rev said. "Then how about you face me." Mult said. "Sure thing. My new technique will wipe you." Rev said. "You don't even know the 7 power fighting rules, before you can fight me, you have to play a game. A round of SPACE SOCCER!" Mult said transforming the plain into the moon. "Okay...so what do I do?" Rev asked. "You have to face 3 of me by yourself." Mult said. Soon a soccer ball appeared and Mult split into 3 again. "The first to score wins." Mult added. Soon the 3 Mult's started to kick the ball towards Rev's goal, but Rev used his water powers to knock it back. "TRIPLE KICK!" Mult shouted making all 3 of him strike at the same time. "AQUA STYLUS!" Rev shouted knocking the ball at the same time with a spike of water and knocked the ball into the goal. "So, you actually conquered that one, usually people lose to that and leave broken. TIME TO FIGHT!" Mult shouted. The 3 Mult's went straight for Rev, but Rev countered with his Aqua Pressure attack. Mult then used one of his clones as a ball, which Rev held back with his Super Soaker, but then he was struck by the other clone, then attacked by the real one. Rev retailiated with his Tital Surge that knocked the 3 Mult's back, but soon Mult turned his 2 clones into balls and kicked both of them torwards Rev. "Time for the new technique, AQUA SCREEN!" A few wall of water appeared trapping the clones inside of it turning them into pinballs causing the real Mult to get dizzy, when Mult least expected it, the Aqua Screens disappeared and he was hit by his two clones and knocked out. "I'm impressed, you're young, but yet you could defeat me." Mult praised. "Heh." Rev saud. "Well I should let you know I'm only the weakest, the rest are all stronger and they don't have the same techniques as me, so expect more power and something new." Mult said. "I've sent PM's to the others so they know your coming, since Rev's already fought he can't fight again." Mult said as the others left to go on ahead.

"So what's this again?" Swift asked. "I made something with the battle grid and made our own training area, I've made programs of everyone so they can fight themselves to see how good they would be against themselves, plus incase I ever need to use the fusion prgram again we wouldn't need the other person." Tech explained. "I wonder how those 7 are doing at the 7 powers fights." Jet said.

"This is getting boring, are they trying to avoid us or annoy us?" Rev asked. "For once I agree with Rev, we should have seen one of them by now." Blur said. Soon they saw smoke around them. "Hot cha, cha. The name's Celcius." Celcius said. "So your the next of the 7 powers. I'll take you." Geisy said. "Time for my game, GUESS THE FLAME!" Soon flames of evry color appeared. "Can you guess which one I'm hiding in? Choos wisely cause you've only got one chance, only a few have passed this." Celcius said with a chuckle. 'Hm...let's see there's a red flame, a yellow flame, a green flame and a blue flame. His flaming body consist of all 4 colors.' Geisy thought. "Your in all of them." Geisy shouted. Soon 4 Celcius' appeared out of the flames, each matching the color it jumped out of. "OKAY, NOW IT'S TIME TO FIGHT!" The 4 Celcius' said. The 4 each fired a flame at Geisy, but she countered with her Chaos Wave attack. Though soon they managed to also use it back combining their flames. 'Looks like I'll have to stick to my Chaos Nova for this one.' Geisy thought. "CHAOS NOVA!" "HEAT EATER!" The Celcius' shouted as they absorbed her attack. "0-0" "Your doomed." The Celcius' shouted before fusing together. "It's time for my ultimate attack, BURN BABY BURN!" Celcius shouted before creating a rainbow Meteor 3 times bigger than Geisy's. "Give Up? Your moves are useless. Just like you." "He's dead." Rector said. "I AM NOT USELESS!" Geisy shouted. "Oh darn." Celcius said. "CHAOS TORNADO!" Geisy shouted making her Red version of the Chaos Tornado striking into Celcius causing him to drop his own attack on him knocking him backwards. Soon Geisy rushed up to him and kicked him hard knocking him out. "Ergh...I can't believe I lost to a girl. I NEVER LOSE TO A GIRL!" Celcius shouted. Soon he was hit by a rock. "Shut Up." Rev said.
After Rev knocked out Celcius, the group continued on. "I see you've done well." Everyone turned to see Paladin Master. "Yo, Paladin. Whazzup?" Mystic asked. "Wait. How did you get here? I thought only challengers to the 7 Powers were allowed." Rector asked. "Because...I'm Rank 5 of the 7 Powers." Paladin Master explained. "Then I will face you, I can break your armor easily." Rector said. "Actually, how about we face my true form." Paladin Master said before removing the huge layer of his body. "Now that's a load off my back." Paladin Master said. Soon the only things left were his hands which were know shrunken, his wings, his tiny fins which are actually his feet, his stomache symbol which was his body and his mask which was his face. "Paladin Master?" "That's my alias, my true name is Magnet." Magnet said. "Bring it on Attracter." Rector joked. "TIME FOR MY GAME, HIDE AND GO SEEK MY HEAD!" Soon Magnet seperated his body parts around the area. "You must find me, but only my head, if you pick something else it's game over instead." Magnet explained. "To easy. KNOCKOUT FIST!" Rector screamed shaking the ground making all the trees fall down. "Now that was just cheating, but then there's no rule for finding my head and something else at the same time. NOW SHOW ME YOUR STUFF!" Magnet shouted before sepperating his body parts. Rector went on the offensive with a Knockout Chop, but he was knocked back by his arm and his other arm started punching him. Rector used his Knockout Kick to free himself, but was smacked by his feet and then sliced by his wings, Soon Rector tried all 3 of his techniques together. "KNOCKOUT FIST, KNOCKOUT CHOP ,KNOCKOUT KICK!" He aimed the attacks at Magnet's head, but his other body part got in the way. "You can't hurt me unless you hit my head. Your finished." Magnet said. "OKAY! THAT'S IT I AM OFFICALLY TICKED!" Rector then smashed his arms into the ground and got his legs caught in 2 trees, soon the wings went after him, but Rector got on them and used them as Extreme Gear. "TIME FOR THE NEW MOVE! DOUBLE...KNOCKOUT!!!" Rector shouted as he doubled and struck Magnet's head with extreme force. "Heh...well that was fun." Magnet said before passing out. "Well I'm impressed. Hardly anyone has made it this far, you may even be the first to beat #1." Magnet said. "If you don't mind my asking, how did you come back to life like Furion?" Blur asked. "Apocalypse had put a spell on us in the past, when you beat him for the first time we were freed from that curse and given a second chance at life. I even hear Neon is now the underwold's protector. Well you better head to you next match." Magnet said.
"This place is strange." Rev said. "For some reason I strangely regognize this." Ebon said. "I see you know it my young grasshoper." Ebon turned and fell over at who he saw. "Master Blade? Your one of the 7 Powers." Ebon said. "So your master was the legendary one armed blind swordsman that never lost to anyone." Rector said. "Usually they avoid me until they beat the others because of that so yes, though sometimes I never even get faced do to #1 being undefeated." Blade said. "To fight fire with fire, I'll take him." Ebon said. "For my game, you must beat my 4 best students in a clash." Soon a pig, a porcupine, a tiger and a sheep all showed up. The 4 charged at Ebon with lightning speed, but Ebon's 8 swords proved no match for them. "I see you've made your own style. Get ready." Blade said. Ebon rushed at blade and swung his swords. Blade blocked it with his arm and struck back, Blade then rushed at Ebon then disappeared, but reappeared behind him, though Ebon managed to block this and strike back, but wasn't prepared for his master's bend and strike. "I see you have greatly improved since you left 3 years ago, but your still not enough to beat me." Blade said. "A little, I was just actually hold myself back with some weights, but I guess I'll need to kick it up." Ebon said as he removed the weights on his arms and legs. Soon he rushed at Blade and managed to strike him with his 8 swords, he kept getting a few slashes until Blade started learning his patterns and blocking them all. "I've studied you patters. You've lost." Blade said. "I've learned a trick even you don't know." Ebon chuckled. Soon Ebon threw his 8 swords into the air and suddenly 100 blades appeared. "It's your unlucky day, say hello to my 13 blades attack." Soon the swords all struck Blade kocking him back, Ebon recalled his 8 swords and kept 3 out in a traingle position. "TRI-ATTACK!" Soon a triple colored beam knocked Blade back even further and broke his sword. "I don't believe it, the pupil beat the master. I'd say I'm only the second best swordsman now." Blade said. "Your wimpy." Soon everyone saw a flying puffball with wings and dynamite attached to his body. "I'm Dyne O. Mite, Dyne for short, 3rd strongest of the 7 Powers." Dyne said. "I'll take him, I want my turn." Kika said. "Now it's time for my game dynamite derby, we use the battle grid to fight, you will fight me as dynamite falls, GET READY!" Dyne said. Soon the battle grid loads up arond them. "GO!" Dyne shouted. Dyne flew off and Kika ran after him. Dyne drop his explosives at her while she dodged him and the falling dynamite. "MIND ILLUSION!" Kika cast some strange energy around him soon he struck himself with his own dynamite, soon he regained his control and started attacking again. Kika was unfortunate to get caught in a rain of dynamite. "Okay, now I'm annoyed. BRICK BREAK!" Kika dashed forward and struck Dyne hard causing him to be shot backwards and into all the dynamite. "OKAY, OKAY I GIVE!" Dyne screamed. "You never told me you could do that." Rector said. "I forgot." Kika said.
"Well I hope you have a good time against the last 2." Dyne said. "So who's fighting next?" Mystic asked asked. "I'll be facing the leader, so it's Mystic." Blur explained. "WOOT!" Mystic screamed. Everyone just looked at him. "" "You just have to do that here." Everyone turns around to see Furion in Golden armor. "Dad? Your a part of the 7 Powers?" Mystic asked. "If Magnet was in here then why wouldn't I?" Furion said. "Good point there. Well I guess I have to fight you, start the game." Mystic said. "Actually I don't usually do my game, but okay. It's called SHOOT TOWN! The first to get shot loses." Soon Furion and Mystic start running. Furion fires some energy blast at Mystic who avoids them, Furion keeps attacking allowing no chances for Mystic to attack. "Looks like Mystic dances like a girl." Rev said. "Who doesn't. I think Furion shoots like one." Rector said. Furion fell over at this statement allowing Mystic to fire his Black Chaos Cannon on him. "Okay, it's time to get series now." Furion said. Furion fired multiple dark energy burst at Mystic who jumped away and used Black Chaos Beam. Mystic then used Black Chaos Spike, but Furion just grabbed the first one and returned at full power knocking Mystic into the wall. "I see your stronger then you look dad." Mystic said. "I'm only getting started." Furion replied. Mystic fired his Black Chaos Crush, but Furion created a huge wave of energy and knocked him back. "Are you ready to give in?" Furion asked. "No. Time for my ultimate attack. BLACK CHAOS...DRAGON!" Mystic is surronded by Black Chaos enrgy in the shape of a dragon. He tried to hold him back, but the force was way to great and he was thrown back 100 feet. "Heh, I see your good." Furion said before he passed out. "Well, I guess now you only have the leader to deal with." Furion said. "You don't have to look far." Everyone looked around before seeing a creature that looked like Dyne, but had clawed feet and raised claw arms. "WHo are you." Rev asked. "You just had to come in dramatically. Meet the leader of the 7 Powers." Furion explained. "I am Claw, the undefeated leader of the 7 Powers, prepare to lose." Claw said. "Alright, let's get ready." Blur replied.
Claw attacke by shooting out his claws at Blur who avoids them all, Blur counters with a spin dash, but Claw knocks him back. Though Blur manages to send it back with his Homing Attack then uses his Light Speed Attack on him. Claw then puts his claws into the ground and spikes grow out by Blur, Soon Claw reels his arms back and shoots them forward at Blur, who dodges them by jumped over. "Your more powerful then I thought." Claw said. "I could say the same." Blur replied. Soon the battle continued on.

"How is the base coming?" Space said. "We're getting everything into order." Shadow Stream replied. "I just wonder were the others have gone. We really need them." Raccoon said. "Up here." Soon a Snake with wings on it's head and a bunny made of dust crashed through the ceiling. "Great, now I have to fix the ceiling." Space growled. "Skyphon ready to toxicate." The flying snake said. "And get ready to choke on me." Dustbunny said.

"SPIKE SLASH!" Claw said as he extended his spikes and slashed Blur. "Discuses! FIRE!" He soon shot out some green disks at Blur, but they were all destroyed by his Lightspeed attack. "Let's fnish this." Claw said. "Gladly." Blur replied. "SHOOTING STAR!" Claw shouted. "CHAOS TORNADO!" Their 2 attacks clashed and struck dead on. It looked like Claw's attack would get through, but Blur Chaos Tornado ended up being to powerful and struck Claw with his own atack. "UGH!" Claw said before he passed out. "I don't believe it, I've actually been beaten." Claw said. "Heh, well you haven't faced the world's strongest villain and won have you?" Blur joked. "No, he hasn't." Everyone looked back to see Skyphon and Dustbunny. "Who are those 2?" RRector asked. "We're Skyphon and Dustbunny of the Black Flame gang." Skyphon said. Soon Claw started to turn red. "NO ONE COMES IN HERE UNINVITED!" Claw shouted as he went on the offensive and struck them both with all his spikes. "There's only one thing to do." Dustbunny said. "That's?" Skyphon asked. "RUN!" Dustbunny said turning into dust and carrying Skyphon away.
