Sonic Chronicles: The Series

The clouds rumbled as the storm grew much fiercer by the second. The rain was bashing down on Blur and Mach as they just stood there, waiting for the other to make a move. The heavy rain knocks off a stray leaf from a tree and slowly let it fall to the ground. The leaf then hits the ground and the two rivaling hedgehogs begin their match to see who is best.
Blur and Mach used their super speed to run up to each other and attempted to punch each other. The fist collided and created a small shockwave from the force of power. “You’re much better then last time, faker.” Mach, surprisingly, complimented. “And I’m just warming up. Check this out.” Blur said. Blur and Mach pushed away from each other and resumed their fighting stance. Blur opened his hand and a blue sphere appeared in it. Mach was confused at what this blue sphere in Blur’s hand might be.
“I’ve been saving this little trick for a special occasion. CHAOS WIND!” Blur shouted. Then a Yellow whirlwind surrounded Mach and was attacking him in multiple directions. The whirlwind shot Mach up into the air and caused him to crash with a loud thud. Mach got back up to his feet and stared at Blur with, what seemed to be excitement rather then anger. “I am impressed you managed to create a powerful technique. But you’re not the only one with hidden abilities. CHAOS SPEAR!” Mach shouted as several yellow arrows appeared out of nowhere. Blur was fast enough to avoid most of them, but one did hit his shoulder and another hit his right leg.
Blur winced at the hot, burn feeling that came, but got over it quickly. Blur looked at Mach with equal enthusiasm as his opponent. “Not bad, Mach. I was almost impressed.” Blur said mockingly. “Oh, don’t worry, you’ll get to see more of my powers soon enough.” Mach told him. Mach charged at him once more to continue the battle.
On the other side of the island, Kumori and Geisy were also engaged in a heated conversation. “Looks like its raining. I suggest you go back inside before you catch a cold, little girl.” Kumori said, mocking Geisy. What did you say?!” Geisy was getting angry. “Go home; this is no place for little girls. Especially ones that are useless to their friends.” Kumori told her. “What do you mean?” Geisy asked. “Face it, when it come to adventure, you’re the first one caught.” Kumori told her.
“That’s not true! You don’t know anything about me!” Geisy shouted. “Eggman told me everything about you, Geisy. In all of Blur’s adventures, other than the one against Tsunami, you always play the role of the hostage.” Kumori told her. “Shut up.” Geisy said quietly. “You’re always getting Blur in more danger. It’s a wonder why he is still your friend.” Kumori continued. “I said, SHUT UP!” Geisy yelled.
Kumori was expecting her reaction, but what she wasn’t expecting was Geisy to move at such a fast pace. Geisy moved so fast that Kumori did not have a chance to avoid her punch. The strike from her fist not only sent her flying through the air, but through the building wall as well. Kumori pulled herself through the hole and back up to her feet. “Ok, note to self: never make reddy mad.” Kumori said silently. Kumori looked up and saw Geisy charging at full speed and avoided her attack with her super speed.
“Well it’s obvious I can’t hold back on her anymore.” Kumori said. Kumori removed her silver ring bracelets and was ready to finish Geisy off. Kumori ran at super sonic speed and sent her fist directly at Geisy’s gut. Geisy was sent through the same wall as Kumori and throw through more walls until she was on the other side off the building. Kumori put back her ring bracelets and walked through the former prison to find Geisy of the ground, knocked out.
“Ha, I knew she was useless.” Kumori said as she began to walk away. She turned her back to Geisy and then a strange sound had caught her ears. Kumori turned around and found Geisy stand up again and raised her foot. “But how? She passed out last I did that.” Kumori pondered. While Kumori was lost in though, she did not notice the foot coming down on her until it was too late. The foot had hit her dead center and plowed her to the ground, which caused a small indent in the pavement.
Kumori was too weak to move and knew it was over. “I don’t understand. I am superior, so why did I lose to her.” Kumori asked herself. Geisy was proud at her accomplishment and looked over to the side to see the blue chaos emerald that Kumori dropped. Geisy grabbed the emerald and lifted it into the air, saying “Who’s useless now?”
But her victory was short lived as a bolt of lightning struck the emerald and sent a wave of blue electricity coursing through her body. Geisy dropped the emerald and fell to the ground, unconscious. Kumori had been watching the entire incident and had enough strength to say “What just happened there?”
Eggman was still fight Wing back on the harbor. Judging by the many dents and scratches on both vehicles, in looked like either one of the walkers were about to give. Then Alexis ran up to Wing telling him “Wing, I broke Geisy and Blur out of prison.” “Good work, Alexis.” Wing told her with a thumbs up. “Even if they did get out, there is no telling if they will survive the explosion.” Eggman told him. “Explosion?” Wing questioned.
“You see, I sent my two best agents to plant bombs on the two main gas lines of the Island.” Eggman explained to him. “But that will cause the entire island to explode!” Wing exclaimed. “Exactly, now we only have…” Eggman trailed off. Eggman looked at the clock on his walker and shouted “We only have one minute to get off the Island!” “Hurry Alexis, climb on.” Wing told her as he transformed the Hurricane III back into plane mode. Alexis climbed into the passenger’s seat and asked “But what about Blur and Geisy?” “There's no time to get them. We have to hope for the best. I'm sorry, but Rock can't fight on his own.” Wing told her as the Hurricane III took off.
Back with Blur and Mach, the two were gravely injured and the battle was about to come to an end until. “Mach, are you there? Come in Mach.” Eggmans voice came from the radio. Mach pulled his radio and asked “What is it, doctor?” “Mach, the island is about to explode in one minute. We have to get out of here now and my jets aren't working!” Eggman shouted. “Mach, I’m still trapped inside the building with the emerlads.” Jasmine said over the radio. “Mach…help…me.” Kumori sounded weakly. “Kumori? Are you there? Kumori?!" but no responce came. "Looks like we have to finish this some other time. I can't let my friends die.” Mach told him as he pulled out his green chaos emerald
“CHAOS CONTROL!” Mach shouted. Then Mach disappeared along with Eggman, Jasmine, Kumori and the chaos emeralds. “One minute, this is bad. I have to find Geisy quick.” Blur said as he ran off though the jungle. Inside the building, the bombs were down to their last five seconds and then were set off. In the air around the island, Wing and Alexis could only watch as the island had been enguled in a large explosion.
“Blur…Geisy. NOOOOOOOOOOOO!” Wing said sadly, knowing they didn’t survive. They had both lost hope until. “Look.” Lucky said. Wing looked over and out of the explosion, came Blur holding Geisy in his arms. Blur landed on the wing, but collapsed as soon as had grabbed onto it. Wing looked over Blur and Geisy and quickly flew off to the nearest city hospital.
The scene soon reaches Mars or more specifically inside Mars. Inside Mars was what looked to be a high-tech laboratory and soon the entire dark crew landed there. “What happened?” Eggman groaned. “Did anyone get the license plate off that truck?” Jasmine said dazed. Jasmine looked to her surroundings and saw Mach looking out a window, staring at…Earth? “Where are we?” Jasmine asked.
Kumori managed to gather enough strength to stand and recognized, almost insteantly, the place they were in. “This is Planet Colony: 001. This is the place where me and Mach were created.” Kumori told the two. Kumori walked over to Mach and asked “Why did you bring us here, Mach?” But Mach gave no response. Kumori placed her hand on his shoulder but when she did, Mach had collapsed from exhaustion. “Mach!”

After the extensive battle on Prison Island, Mach used Chaos Control to teleport the team to planet Colony: 001, the birthplace of Mach and Kumori. In the medical bay of Mars, Mach was lying inside a sleeping pod with red wires attached to him. By the pod was Kumori, staring at it depression at watching Mach lie there, like he was dead. Kumori looked around the room and remembered the many times she was brought here by Mr Robotnik.
Eggman walked in to see Kumori still standing over Mach’s pod, just like she has for the past four hours. Kumori saw Eggman enter the room and asked “Is he going to be alright?” “Mach is a strong hedgehog; he is only suffering from major exhaustion. In a few minutes, he should up and running again.” Eggman said as he walked in and stood near Kumori. Eggman took the time to look at the healing Mach and the worrisome Kumori, which had surprised him.
Eggman decide to confront Kumori with a question that had been bothering him lately. “Say, Kumori, you said this is the place where my father created you, right?” Eggman asked. “Yes. At least I think.” Kumori said quickly, curious at what Eggman was getting at. “Well, I found my father's old journal and I did a little research on you, Kumori. Apparently, you were at first an emotionless monster of great destruction. But that all changed when Mach was created. Care to explain?” Eggman interrogated. Kumori gave no reply and just walked out of the medical bay. "Alright, if you don't want to talk about it you don't have to." Eggman said.
Kumori walked into the viewing room, which showed planet Earth and all its natural beauty. Back when she once lived on Mars, 8 years ago, this would always be her favorite place to spend her free time. She remembered the times she used to spend here with Mr Robotnik and Mach, gazing at the world they hoped to visit one day. “The doctor is right. I was supposed to be built as a heartless weapon of destruction, so why do I feel this way?” Kumori asked herself. Her mind then drifted to the memories of her life, 8 years ago.
---Flashback---
“Alright, Kumori, this is a simple exercise to test your power. Are you ready?” Mr Robotnik said over the loudspeaker. “Yes, professor.” Kumori said, emotionlessly. The walls started to open up and several prototype G.U.N. beetles came flying out. “You’re joking, right?” Kumori said, insulted by her lack of competition. The beetles shot at the female hedgehog, but were dodged very easily. Kumori jumped into the air and used her own Chaos Spear to finish them off. In the control room, the professor had finished reading Kumori’s data and told her “that is enough for today, Kumori.”
Kumori was in the viewing room, staring out into the world in front of her. “It’s beautiful isn’t it?” Came a male voice from behind. Kumori turned around to see Mr Robotnik. “I guess, but I can’t help wonder what it is like down there, on planet Earth.” Kumori told him. “Don’t worry. I am sure you will visit the planet someday.” Mr Robotnik assured here. Kumori did not show it, but she was proud at how Mr Robotnik did not give up on his dream to see the bright blue planet.
Weeks have passed and Kumori found it strange that the Professor did not call her for any tests. If fact, the professor has kept himself hidden away from everyone on Mars until. “Kumori, please come to the training room. I have something special to show you.” Mr Robotnik said over the loudspeaker. When Kumori arrived at the control room, she saw a Red hedgehog standing in the middle of the training area. “Who is that?” Asked Kumori. “Watch.” was all that Mr Robotnik said.
The walls opened and over a thousand beetle prototypes flew out. Kumori was surprised that the professor would send that many robots on him, when even she couldn’t fight that many. But the Red hedgehog made no move. Instead he just raised his hand and snapped his fingers, shouting “CHAOS SPEAR!” the robots then exploded in a ray of yellow light, causing his watcher to gasp in shock. “Behold, Mach, the male Perfect life-form.” Mr Robotnik announced.
Hours after the training exercise, Mach decided to explore Mars until he heard a faint cry coming from one of the rooms. Mach opened the door to the viewing room to find Kumori sitting on the floor, holding her legs to her chest, crying. Mach felt sorry for her and walked up to her saying “What’s wrong?” Kumori made no reply. “If don’t want to tell me, then I won’t ask.” Mach said as he walked away. “I’m useless.” Kumori said suddenly. Mach looked back at Kumori as she stood up and looked at Mach, with tears still shooting from her eyes.
“What do you mean?” Mach asked. “That’s what Mr Robotnik said. He said that since he has you, I was useless to him. He said I no longer have a purpose. Sometimes I wonder why I even exist.” Kumori told her as she cried even more. Mach walked up to Kumori and grasped her shoulders tightly, forcing her to look at him directly in the eyes. “Never say that, understand. You’re not useless. You are important to many people aboard the ARK, including me, you got that. Never think like that ever again.” Mach told her. Kumori was shocked by Mach’s speech and had stopped crying almost instantly. “Thank you, Mach.” Kumori said with a smile.
---End Flashback---
Ever since that day, Kumori had been experiencing emotions and this most recent feeling was confusing her. “I don’t know what this feeling is, but I know it has something to do with Mach. How do I figure it out?” Kumori asked herself as she placed her hand on her heart. Then and idea popped into her head. There was only one person she knew that could help her figure out this mystery. Geisy.
Geisy was waking up from her injures and was blinded by a ray of light. Geisy’s vision soon cleared and saw that she was in a hospital room. She looked at herself and noticed that there were no bandages or medical needle on her, as if she had never been hurt. Geisy heard the door open and saw her best friend, Alexis, enter the room. “Oh, Geisy, I am so glad you’re awake.” Alexis said in happiness.
Alexis walked over to Geisy’s bed and was questioned almost immediately. “Where am I?” “You’re in the hospital. Wing brought you and Blur here. It is amazing that you have no injuries, especially after that fight you had.” Alexis told her. “No injuries?” Geisy questioned. “Yeah, it’s a good thing Blur is always there to save you, when you get into deep trouble." Alexis said cheerfully. Even though Alexis didn’t know it, her words struck Geisy hard. “It’s true. He does always save me.” Geisy thought as she remembered Kumori’s words. 'In all of Blur’s adventures, except the one against Tsunami, you always play the role of the hostage.' “I think you still need more sleep. Let me close the curtains for you.” Alexis offered as she walked over to the curtains. She was about to close them until she noticed an object heading straight for them.
In Blur’s room, Blur had just finished explaining everything he knew about Mach and Kumori. “So it was this ‘Mach’ guy who is the going around stealing the chaos emeralds and blaming you for it?” Wing asked. “That about sums it up, the only differenceis he's red.” Blur said. “I knew it wasn’t you. Now the only problem is to figure out how to get everyone else to believe too. WWe would have to show you and Mach at the same time, but how?” Wing explained. Wing and Blur tried to come up with a plan to stop Mach from whatever he was doing until the heard a scream from another room.
“AAH!” “That was Alexis!” Wing proclaimed. Wing and Blur ran out of Blur’s room and straight to Geisy’s. When they opened the door, they saw glass on the floor along with Alexis. “Alexis!” Wing shouted as he quickly ran to her side. Blur became angered when he saw Kumori holding a scared Geisy. “What do you want with Geisy?” Blur questioned. “I need her questioning. But in the meantime, why don’t you play with some of Eggmans new toys.” Kumori said. Then a series of orange fighter robots appeared flying outside the broken window and aimed their rifles at the small group. “Fire.” Kumori said as her and Geisy disappeared, thanks to Kumori’s super speed.
The robots began to open fire and shoot at everything in sight. Blur quickly jumped to Wing and Alexis, knowing they were directly in the robots line off fire. The robots soon ceased fire when the room was covered in a layer of smoke. As soon as the smoke cleared, they saw that Wing and Alexis were unharmed and Blur was missing. The robots looked around quickly to find the speed demon until the heard a faint buzzing noise from above. The looked to see Blur use his spin dash to ride along the building and slice through the robots' armor. Blur jumped out of his spin dash and in front the broken wall that was shot by the robots. Blur prepared to leave until “Blur, where are you going?” Wing asked. “That witch has Geisy. I have to go save her.” Blur told him as he ran out the wall to begin his search. "Do you think?" Wing asked. "NAH!" The 3 replied.

Kumori was running through the forest with Geisy squirming in her arms. “Let go!” Geisy shouted. “Quiet, brat!” Kumori shouted back. “I said, let go!” Geisy shouted again as she nailed Kumori in the stomach. Kumori clutched her stomach in pain, which gave Geisy a chance to escape. Geisy ran as fast as she could until she ran into something. “Ow, huh?” Geisy questioned as she saw that the object she ran into was a goat. “That’s weird.” Geisy said. “How did you do that?” Kumori’s voice came from behind, which scared Geisy for a moment. “Do what?” Geisy asked. “Do you know where we are?” Kumori asked. Geisy shook her head no. “We’re in Mexico.” Kumori answered. “That’s impossible.” Geisy said. “Then how do you explain the mariachi band?” Kumori asked as she pointed behind Geisy. Geisy looked over and saw that there was a mariachi band playing.
After being able to sneak Geisy aboard the ARK without Eggman or Shadow noticing, Kumori was chatting with Geisy in the viewing room. “There’s no doubt about it. Somehow, you obtained super speed equal to Blur.” Kumori said to Geisy. “But how?” Geisy asked. “I think I know. Do you remember when you were hit by that lightning?” Kumori asked. “Yeah.” Geisy answered. “if I remember correctly, the lightning hit the chaos emerald first and then struck you.” Kumori explained. “So you’re saying the chaos emerald gave me this power?” Geisy questioned. “That’s impossible, even for the chaos emerald. I think you had this power all along, but there was a wall stopping you from using it. I think the chaos emerald broke through that wall.” Kumori explained. “So now I can run as fast as Blur?” Geisy questioned. “Yep. He’ll be so impressed with you.” Kumori said.
Kumori expected Geisy to be happy, but instead she looked depressed. “Ok, what’s wrong now?” Kumori questioned. “I’ve been thinking about what you said before and I think your right. All I’ve ever done is cause Blur more trouble, but not anymore! Kumori, teach me how to use my new powers!” Geisy pleaded. “Ok, I’ll teach you. But only on one condition.” Kumori bribed. “What?” Geisy asked. “Teach me about my emotions.” Kumori requested. “It’s a deal.” Geisy agreed.

Blur had been running around Future City for six hours and has still not seen any sign of the two. “Hmm, maybe they left the city. Only one way to find out.” Blur said. Blur then ran out of the city and kept running until he found himself in Jumbled Jungle. With luck, Blur spotted Kumori leaning on a tree, but Geisy was not with her. “Where is she?” Blur demanded her to answer. Kumori moved from her spot and stared directly at blur. “If you’re looking for Geisy then don’t bother.”Kumori told him. “And why not?” Blur asked, nervous about her answer. Kumori coldly replied.
“Because…she never wants to see you again.”

“She never wants to see you again.” Kumori said coldly. Blur could not believe what he had just heard, he would believe it. Geisy Sol Marina, the girl that chased him to the ends of the Earth, the girl who loved him with her whole heart, never wanted to see him again. “You’re lying. You’re lying, I know you are!” Blur shouted. “I know that it is hard to accept. But in time that wound in your heart, along with her memory will vanish.” Kumori said like it was no big deal. “You’re wrong, I would never forget Geisy, she was my friend!” Blur shouted. “Then why do you constantly abandon her and break her heart?” Kumori asked coolly.
These words struck Blur hard. It was true that Blur would run away at the sight of Geisy, but did he really think it would break her heart. Blur always thought that Geisy would never give up, so he paid no attention to what he was doing to her. Could that have been the wrong thing to do? “Geisy chose this of her own free will. She said that she was tired of you breaking her heart. I don’t blame her. How could anyone love a crazy hyper-active brat like you?” Kumori said.
"What did you just call ME!?" Blur spoke in anger Kumori’s speech had first caused Blur to fall into state of sadness, thinking it was his fault. Then when he heard the rest of her speech, he quickly grew angry. “Only a stupid ditz like Geisy could love someone like you.” Kumori continued. Blur’s anger had risen to a new level that had never been reached before. “What did you call her?” Blur said darkly. “I said she was a stupid ditz.” Kumori repeated. That was the last straw; Blur was now ready to kill Kumori on the spot.
“Don’t you ever, ever, call her THAT! I'LL WILL KILL YOU!” Blur shout in rage. Blur’s pupils completely disappeared and his fur transformed into a dark and evil color. When it was over, Kumori was standing in front of a dark glowing Blur. The air had turned cold as the dark hedgehog looked to Kumori and gave a glare that made her think she was staring at the Grim Reaper himself Blur had become Darkspines Blur.
Blur walked slowly to Kumori, hoping to drag out her long and painful death. Kumori was not willing to go down so easily, she ran straight to the dark transformed hedgehog, ready to kick. But before she could even got close to him, Darkspines Blur snapped his fingers and a dark wave of electricity was sent through Kumori’s body and she fell to the ground. Kumori weakly got up and saw Darkspines Blur staring down on her. She closed her eyes to await death, but it never came, thanks to the unexpected arrival.
“Mach?” Kumori said quietly. Duak looked back at her and she could tell he was not happy. “Kumori, I never said that you could leave Mars.” Mach said with spite. Kumori flinched and quickly pulled herself to get out of his way. Mach looked up to the newly transformed Blur and felt small chills going down his spine as some memories he's never seen start to appear, he saw the picture of him and two other hedgehogs, but right now he payed attention to Blur. “His power is so evil. I have never felt anything like it.” Mach thought.
Darkspines Blur stared Mach straight in the eyes before instantly vanishing. Mach felt Darkspines Blur appear right behind. Darkspines Blur lifted his fist and sent it straight to his back, but missed as Mach disappeared as well. Mach appeared next to Kumori, holding a red chaos emerald and said “This hedgehog is serious. If I didn’t bring this chaos emerald, that punch would have killed me in an instant.” Mach looked back at Darkspines Blur and knew that this was a fight he couldn’t win. Mach picked up Kumori and raised the chaos emerald before saying “CHAOS CONTOL!”
Darkspines Blur watched as Mach and Kumori disappeared in a glow of red light. Darkspines Blur was angered that he did not get a chance to kill the girl who made him lose someone close to him. Darkspines Blur formed a black sphere of energy in his hand and hurtled it at one of the many hills. Darkspines Blur found pleasure in the small bit of destruction he had caused, but it wasn’t enough to sooth his savage hunger to destroy. He soon remembered Station Square and used his dark powers to fly to the city.
In a small mine hidden underneath the city, a shard of the Master Emerald was lying on the ground and it didn’t take long for the hunters to reach it. “Well Jasmine, I say you’re doing well. I see you already have almost half the emerald shards.” Rock said as he felt the presence of the 8 emerald shards in her bag. “That’s right and I’m guessing you have the others, don’t you?” Jasmine asked. Rock nodded his head in reply, never taking his eye of the remaining 25th shard. “Well then, I’m sure you won’t mind if I take them. Right Rocky.” Jasmine said flirtingly. “Actually, I do mind. So hand them over!” Rock demanded.
Jasmine jumped into the air began by using her signature screw kick to start things off. Rock just stood there like the idiot he is as her attack came closer. Then at the last second, Rocks somehow managed to catch Jasmine’s foot before it hit. Jasmine was shocked at how Rock was able to pull off such a move. “Didn’t expect that did you? then you probably didn' expect this.” Rock said as he flung her to the other side of the mine. Rock picked up the emerald shard and began to walk away.
Jasmine saw Rock trying to walk away with her emerald and decided to trick him again. Jasmine began to cry fake tears, which quickly caught Rock attention. Rock ran to Jasmine and asked “What’s wrong?” “My… arm… I think it’s broken.” Jasmine said through the tears. “I'm not falling for that, you don't even fight with your arms.” Rock said before leaving a ticked off Jasmine.
Back in Station Square, the entire city had turned into a hell on Earth. The buildings were crumbling and fire had engulfed nearly everything in sight. Standing in the middle of the destruction was Darkspines Blur as he looked satisfied of the chaos around him. He heard a rumbling sound coming from behind him and looked back to see a small army of G.U.N. soldiers, tanks, and robots.
“Alright, deploy the hunters! I want that hedgehog dead!” the leader ordered. The hunter robots activated the jets on their back and flew to the evil hedgehog, not knowing what would happen next. Once the robots were close enough to fire their guns, they surprisingly shut down for no reason as Darkspines Blur walked past them. “What happened?” the leader asked his men. “I don’t know, sir.” The soldier replied. “Alright then, fire the tanks now.” He ordered. The tanks began to fire on the dark hedgehog with their cannons and then the area was covered in smoke. “We did it. There is no way anyone could survive that” the leader cheered. He was wrong.
Out of the smoke came Darkspines Blur, completely unscratched. “What?!” the leader shouted in surprise. Darkspines Blur lifted his hand and another sphere of dark energy formed in his hand. Darkspines Blur plowed the energy sphere into the ground and waited for what happened next. Soon the ground underneath the soldier began to rumble and crack until they were all disintegrated by a purple light.
But somehow one of the soldiers was able avoid the attack and live. The soldier looked up to see Darkspines Blur standing in front of him. He quickly reached for the gun next to him, but Darkspines Blur crushed the soldiers hand under his foot before he could grab it. Darkspines Blur pointed one of his fingers at the man’s forehead and a small purple beam began to form at the end of it. “No, please don’t.” he begged. That was the last thing he ever heard.
“Blur what are doing!?” Darkspines Blur looked over to see Wing and Alexis, who were stunned at the destruction he created. “Blur, how could you do this?” Alexis asked, on the verge of tears. Darkspines Blur gave no reply, but instead, held his hand out to them and fired a wave of dark energy. Wing quickly threw himself in front of Alexis to protect her before the wave had hit the two young animals. Darkspines Blur looked to the spot where they last stood and found they were no longer there. Darkspines Blur slowly turned around to see Wing and Alexis being protected by someone familliar.
Wing and Alexis noticed that they weren’t dead and opened their eye to gaze upon their savior. “What it can't be you?” Darkspines Blur asked in a demonic voice.

“What's wrong you don't remember me.” Geisy said. “Hmm? Let me guess, you wanna give me a speach about destroying the city.” Darkspines Blur coldly said. “No. And…” she was cut off when Darkspines Blur jabbed his elbow into her stomach. The jab had sent Geisy flying into one of the crumbling buildings, plowing her into the wall. “That’s gonna hurt in the morning.” Geisy said as she pried herself out of the wall.
Darkspines Blur slowly walked over to Geisy as she pulled herself out of the wall and fell, head first, into the ground. Darkspines Blur chuckled at the antics of his so-called ‘opponent’. “You talk too much and you are an idiot when it comes to this sort of stuff. You might as well give up and die.” Darkspines Blur said cruelly. Geisy pulled himself up from the ground and readied herself into a fighting position, causing Darkspines Blur to laugh harder. “I’ll give you something to laugh about.” Geisy said.
Then Geisy disappeared into thin air and appeared again, right in front of Darkspine Blur. “She was never that fast before, how'd she do that.” Darkspines Blur thought. Geisy delivered a hard punch to Darkspines Blur’s jaw and shot him straight into the air. Darkspines Blur caught himself in the air by using his super dark powers and looked down onto Geisy. “You’re faster then you used to be. But you’re not fast enough.” Darkspines Blur told her.
Darkspines Blur gather a great amount of energy into his hand to form a sphere and flung it to Geisy. To a normal person, it would be impossible to avoid something moving that fast, but, as you could easily tell, Geisy wasn’t normal. She just simple moved to the side like it was no big deal. Unfortunately, when the sphere hit the ground, it created a shock wave that flung Geisy five feet away. “Ok, that is now on my list of things to avoid.” Geisy said to herself.
“So you were able dodge that one. But let's see you dodge these.” Darkspines Blur said as he raised both his arms and created more dark energy spheres. “That’s not good.” Geisy said obviously. Darkspines Blur threw both spheres, but he wasn’t done there. After he threw the two spheres, he created more and threw them and continued to do so in a extremly fast pace. Geisy used her speed to avoid the first two, but was having trouble keeping up with the rest of the assault.
Geisy continued to run around the street until she ran into a metal wall. But instead of stopping or slowing down, Geisy ran up the wall. Darkspines Blur was surprised that Geisy was now able to run so fast that she could walk on a wall, but did not let down his barrage. When Geisy was getting close to reaching the top, she put all the power into her leg and jumped off towards Darkspines Blur. Geisy pulled back her fist and swung it at Darkspines Blur, causing him to fall to the ground. Unfortunately, Geisy didn’t realize that she was falling too. “Bad idea.” Geisy said as she plummeted to the ground.
Geisy was lucky enough to land on her feet, but the initial shock from the landing caused her legs to shake a little. “I’m going to be feeling that one later.” Geisy said in pain. She put her pain to the side for a while and saw Darkspines Blur standing up, still unscratched. “You have got to be kidding me.” Geisy said whiningly. Darkspines Blur walked over to Geisy and stood her ground when he was five feet away.
“You know you can’t win, so why bother?” Darkspines Blur asked. “Because it’s the right thing to do. It’s because I believe that I have the power to protect the people I care for.” Geisy replied. The Dark hedgehog looked at Geisy in anger before saying “I once believed that to. I once believed that I could protect everyone that were held close to my heart. But I was wrong after Kumori told me what you said.” “What do you mean?” Geisy asked “Kumori told me you never wanted to see me again and I beleieved her after enough a while so I stopped beleiving everything I used to believe.” Darkspines Blur said sadly. “She lied to you I'd never say that no matter what happened. Do you really think this is what I would have wanted?” Geisy gestured.
Darkspines Blur looked in surprise at Geisy before asking “No I wont believe it your lying to me right now!” “Do you really think this is what I would have wanted you to become? A cold-blodded, murderous monster, huh?” Geisy questioned the confused hedgehog. Darkspines Blur looked around him and then at himself and could only think “What have I become?” Blur’s quills returned to their normal position and his fur returned to its normal color. Sonic’s fell to his knees and gave out a long sorrowful cry.
“Blur” a voice came as Wing and Alexis ran to Blur’s side. Geisy next noticed one of the manhole covers being moved to reveal Rock climbing out of it. “Man, it smells like year old cheese in those tunnels.” Rock said. Rock then noticed Geisy and then Blur on the ground, crying. Rock ran to his side and quickly asked “What’s wrong?” “It’s all my fault. It’s all my fault. It’s all my fault.” The blue hero cried out. The group was confused. “What's all your fault, Blur?” Rock asked. Blur replied with "I let Kumori fool me and now look at the city".
The group gasped at the information they had just received. “I can’t believe it.” Rock said as he looked towards Wing, who was holding a sobbing Alexis in his arms.
Lucky for everyone, one of the remaining giant television screens came on and Eggman's face appeared. “Bwah, ha, ha, citizens of earth, lend me your ears. I, Doctor Eggman, the worlds most brilliant scientist, am giving you the chance to witness the beginning of the Eggman Empire.” Eggman said dramatically. Out in outer space where Mars is, the third moon (How long has that been there) that was connected to the colony on the surface of Mars began to crack until the entire bottom half was broken off. From that broken half, appeared three large panels on each side with a large tower in the center. The tower then opens itself up and a large green beam leaves it to destroy a whole space station, leaving it viewers in shock. “You have 12 hours to surrender or your planet is doomed.” Eggman's face disappears and is replaced by a timer, signaling how long they had to reply.
Back on Mars, Eggman was grinning from ear-to-ear in joy as he watched his, actually Mach’s, plan unfold. Jasmine had entered the room before the cannon fired and was amazed by how much power the place possessed. “Amazing, what was that?” the bat asked. “That was the Armageddon. Mach told me it was a weapon developed by my father. It gains its energy from the power of the chaos emeralds. Have all seven and it's full power will be unleashed.” Eggman explained. “Well that says a lot. By the way, where is Mach?” Jasmine asked. “He is in the training room, teaching Kumori a little something called discipline for disobeying some orders.” Eggman said with a sadistic grin.
In the training room, Kumori was flung to the one of the walls in the room and collapsed from the pain she had recieved. Mach walked over to her and picked her up and he carried her out of the room and towards the medical bay.
“I didn’t want to do that Kumori. But you need to learn that you can’t go off, acting like a fool.” Mach said to her. She said nothing in return. When he had reached to the medical bay, Mach placed her into the same healing pod he used earlier and walked over to the control panel. Before he could activate the pod, Kumori’s voice came, asking “Do you hate me?”
Mach looked at her in shock before blushing (which you couldn't see because he was Red) and asking “What?” “Do you hate me, because I am useless? I may have gotten Blur to suspend the Earth's best defence, but it wasn't what I should of done.” Kumori asked once more. “I told you before, never to think like that, Kumori. You are not useless, you are a strong fighter. The only reason I did what I did is because you are important to me and I worry about losing you as it would break my heart. Understand?” Mach said to Kumori. She nodded her head with a smile plastered on her face before Mach activated the pod. As she soon fell to sleep, she had one more thought in her head.

Blur and his friends watched as Eggman used his, recently discovered, Armageddon to blast an entire space station in a single shot. “Whoa, what was that?” Blur asked in surprise. “I don’t know, but it can’t be good for Earth.” Rock said. Geisy looked to the timer that Eggman had left on the screen and saw that they only had 11 hours and 20 minutes left for Earth to surrender.
“We have to stop him, before he destroys the world.” Geisy said to the group. “But how do we do that?” Alexis asked. “That beam looked like it was created by the energies chaos emeralds. So all we need to do is find another chaos emerald and it should lead us to the rest.” Rock explained. “One problem, Eggman has six of them, thanks to Mach.” Blur told the substitute guardian. “Mach?” “Some hedgehog that is helping Eggman. The main problem is finding the last chaos emerald.” Blur told them.
Then Wing walked in front of the group and pulled out a yellow chaos emerald, the last one. Blur looked at him in surprise and asked “ Wing, where did you get it?” “Some guy was selling it and I bought it from him.” Wing told him. Rock walked up to Wing and took the emerald out of his hand to inspect it. “I sense that you have the real one, but this one is fake isn’t it?” Rock asked.
Wing was shocked that Rock knew that the emerald in his hand was a fake and pulled out the real chaos emerald from behind his back. “Two of the same chaos emeralds? But how?” Geisy asked in surprise. “Well, when I found the chaos emerald, I made a copy, just incase Eggman tried to steal it. It has the same wavelength and properties as a real one, but it’s not powerful, so it would be useless to Eggman. It is impossible to know it's a fake, even with the ultimate computer. But Rock, how did you know it was a fake?” Wing asked.
“Well, a week after Tsunami had attacked the city and returned to the Master Emerald, he taught me how to sense the energies of the chaos emerald and the Master Emerald. Just incase someone might try to steal them.” The substitute guardian explained. “It must good to have a helpful guy, like Tsunami, around.” Geisy said. “Yeah, but if we don’t get the Master Emerald back, he won’t be around much longer.” Rock told them
“WHAT!” the group shouted. “The Master Emerald was broken into 25 pieces a while ago. Chaos told me that if I don’t restore it in five day because of the high damage, him and Tsunamiios will disappear forever.” Rock explained. “How much time do you have?” Alexis asked. “The same amount as Eggman’s timer.” Rock said as the group looked at the timer to see they had exactly 10 hours left. “We better hurry. Rock can you use the chaos emerald to find the others?” Wing asked. “I can try.” Rock replied.
WIng handed Rock the real chaos emerald and he closed his eyes to concentrate. After a few minutes of meditating, Rock opened his eyes and said “This isn’t good.” “What do you mean?” Wing asked. “The chaos emeralds aren’t on the planet. They are somewhere on Mars.” Rock said as he looked to Mars. “On Mars. How are we going to get there?” Geisy asked. “I remember following Jasmine who tried to steal the Master Emerald, who was following Eggman into a secret base in Egypt.” Rock explain. “Then that’s where we should go to. It might have something we can use to get to that thing. Wait a minute Jasmine betrayed us?” Geisy said.
The rest of the group agreed with him while Blur was bugging Rock. “Jasmine, huh. Wow, Rock, didn’t know were such a ladies man.” Blur joked. Rock was red with anger and shouted “I am not! She stole 8 of the Master Emerald shards and I need to find her to get them back!” “Don’t worry Rock; we’ll help you find your ‘girlfriend’.” Blur continued to joke as he ran away from the enraged Rock. “Get back here, so I can crush you!” Rock shouted.
The group saw the duo run off into the distance. The only problem was, they were heading in the wrong direction. “They do know Egypt is that way, right?” Geisy asked as she pointed to the other direction. “I’m sure they’ll figure it out soon or later and run back here.” Wing said with confidence.
---One Hour Later---
The group was bored and still waiting for Blur and Rock. Geisy decided to rest and lay back on a piece of rubble while Wing and Alexis were playing with a checker board they found on the street. Then, Blur runs by shouting “Come on guy, lets move!” “I told you it was the other way and now we've wasted an hour!” Rock shouted, close behind Blur. “FINALLY!” the group shouted to the heavens. “
After a long trek through the Egyptian desert, the group had reached their destination with Eggman's pyramid fortress only a couple yards away. Wing looks at a small portable television to check how much time they had left. “We only have 4 hours to stop Eggman and save Tsunamiios and Chaos.” Wing told them. “That’s plenty of time Wing. The pyramid is right there. We’ll just go in and borrow one of the doc’s ships.” Blur said with confidence.
The heroes reached to the inside of the pyramid with, surprisingly, no security to stop them. “It’s weird how we get in with no one coming to blast us to pieces.” Geisy said “Maybe the doc’s having an off day.” Blur joked. The heroes continued to walk until they had reached a steel door blocking their path. “I can tell, Eggman’s ship is in here. But the problem is that we need a key to get in.” Wing said. The group looked to Rock and he asked “What?” “Go find the key.” Blur said plainly. “What! Why me?!” Rock shouted. “Because your the treasure hunter." Blur chuckled "He’s probably too afraid to look on his own.” Geisy said tauntingly. Rock erupted and said “Alright I'll look! And BTW It' Knuckles that's a treasure hunter. I'M THE SUBSTITUTE GUARDIEN!”
Rock was seen wondering around the corridor, looking for the key, and was grumbling about something. “I can’t believe they tricked me again. When I find that key, I’m gonna give them all a piece of my mind!” Rock shouted as he threw his fist at a stone wall. Wait…stone wall? Rock looked up to see gigantic stone golem looking down at the substitute emerald guardian. Normally, he would just destroy the thing in an instant. But instead, he had an idea.
The rest of the group was waiting for Rock and becoming very impatient. Well, Blur was anyway. “Where is that rockhead? He should have been here by now.” Blur said fidgeting “He’s only been gone for five minutes. I’m sure he’s on his way back” Geisy said, hoping to calm down Blur. Just then, the ground started shaking and everyone tried their best to stay standing. The group looked down the corridor to see Rock being chased by the large stone golem.
“Everyone, get out of the way!” Rock shouted. The group followed their orders and moved away from the steel door. Rock ran at the door, while the stone golem sent a mighty punch straight at him. At the last second, Rock jump on the wall and bounced off it to let the golem’s fist break the door. The newly formed hole gave the heroes a chance to get in and reach one of Eggman’s ships.
“Hey, Rock, need any help?” Blur offered. “No thanks, I’m good.” Rock declined. Blur just shrugged and ran to the ship with the rest of the gang. The stone golem once again launched a powerful punch, but Rock avoided it pretty easily. Rock jumped and sent his fist to Golems arm, but no damage was done. “What the?” Rock questioned. The golem’s arm moved to swat Rock, like a fly, to the wall.
“Ok, that didn’t work. Now what?” Rock asked himself, rubbing his aching head. When the golem moved, Rock noticed a glowing blue node on top of its head and guessed that was its power source. Rock then took notice that the stone golem was swinging at him and jumped up into the air to avoid the attack. Rock used this opportunity to run up the golems arm and land on its head. “This is it for you.” Rock stated. Rock used his fist to destroy the node and the golem fell to the ground, no longer working.
Rock landed on his feet as the golem fell and figured that he had wasted enough time already. Rock went inside the room to find a large white rocket in the center of it. “Hey, Rock, get in. we’re about to leave.” Wing said into the loudspeaker. Rock arrived into the cockpit a few minutes later and took his seat. “What took ya so long?” Blur asked mockingly. “Shaddup.” Rock responded. “Alright, everything is ready to go. Prepare for lift off.” Wing announced.
Wing pressed a few buttons and the top of the pyramid began to open up. “Count down initiated.” The computer announced. Everyone to their own seats and buckled up with Wing in the pilot’s seat, Blur and Rock in the next row, and Alexis and Geisy in the last row. “Launching in 5…4…3…2…1.” The computer counted. The rocket took off with a loud roar as they began their flight to Planet Colony: 001 to put an end to Eggman's plans.

After Rock had defeated the stone golem, the hero team took off into one of Eggman’s rockets. The rocket had breach the stratosphere and was slowly heading towards the direction of the planet Mars. A little too slow for Blur’s taste. “Come on Wing, can’t you get this thing to move any faster?” Blur complained. “It’s going as fast as it can. Unless you have a plan, then be patient.” Wing told him. “We don’t have time!” Blur said as he began pressing random button. “Blur, no!”
As Blur kept pressing buttons, the rocket suddenly stopped. The sudden halt of the rocket caused everyone to be pushed forward and land in a pile. “Nice going, idiot.” Rock said. “Shut it, rockhead.” Blur returned. “Can you two stop arguing for one second, geez?” Geisy said as she tried to stand up. But while Geisy tried to get back on her feet, she accidentally pressed one of the buttons on the control panel. “Geisy!” everyone shouted.
“Egg Shuttle detachment sequence initiated.” The computer stated. “Is that a good thing?” Geisy asked. Lucky for her it was, the entire rocket began to break off and was replaced by a smaller red egg-like spaceship. “Wow Geisy, you managed to transform the rocket into Eggman’s fastest ship!” Wing exclaimed.
Thanks to Geisy's accident, the ship was flying at a much faster pace and would soon reach Mars in a matter of minutes. While heading towards Mars, the gang notices several asteroids with steel construction sites on them. “What is Eggman doing with the asteroids?” Cream asked. “Asteroids contain special metals inside that Eggman could use to build even stronger robots.” Wing explained. “Well, that gives us one more reason to stop him.” Blur said.
While everyone else was talking about Eggman and robots, Rock had felt the presence of the Master Emerald coming from one of the asteroids. “I can feel it. The emerald shards are around here somewhere. But where?” Rock thought. Rock's vision soon landed on Jasmine sitting atop one of the steel towers of the asteroids. “Jasmine, I have to get to her.” Rock said out loud.
Rock went back into the cargo hold and opened the hatch, getting ready to jump off. “Rock, what are you doing?” Geisy asked. “I’m going to save Tsunami and Chaos!” Rock shouted as he jumped out. Once he jumped out, Rock realized he wasn’t going make it far enough. Rock then jumped back onto the side of the ship and pushed himself off to reach his destination. Unfortunately, Rock push caused the ship to go off course and headed straight for the suface of Mars' planet colony.
“ROCK, YOU IDIOT!” the group of heroes shouted as their ship crash through the steel wall. When the crash had ended, Blur rubbed his throbbing head and asked “Is anyone dead?” his reply was three groans and once 'chao', meaning everyone was alive. “Well, that’s good. After picking themselves up, the gang opened the hatch and jumped out of the ship to get a look at their new surroundings.
“Where are we?” asked Alexis. “I remember. I read about this place. This is Planet Colony: 001.” Wing explained. “Planet Colony: 001?” Blur questioned. “It was once the most advanced research facility of its kind. But 8 years ago, something happened and the entire colony was forced to shut down.” Wing explained. “So Eggman reactivated it and is now using it as a weapon.” Geisy said. “That’s what it looks like.” Wing said.
Wing walks back into the ship and begins to access the Armageddon’s blue prints from the cockpit computer. “It would be impossible to destroy the weapon from the outside. So we have to destroy it from the inside instead by using the fake chaos emerald.” Wing looked at the small television he had and gasped in surprise at the timer on it. “Oh no, we only have 2 hours to stop Eggman.” Wing said. “But how?” Geisy questioned.
“Time moves faster in space then on Earth, but slower on Mars, but I think Eggman would use the fastest.” Wing explained. “Then we better work fast.” Blur said. “Right, Blur, you and Geisy take the fake emerald and try to lead Eggman away with it while me and Alexis try to find the power supply” Wing told him as he handed Blur the fake emerald. “Alright, we’re counting on you, Wing ” Blur said as he and Geisy ran off.
Meanwhile at the asteroid, Jasmine was sitting on top of the steel tower, looking at the laptop on her lap. “Hmm, tricking the doctor was a piece of cake. Now to get to work. M-A-R-I-A, Maria.” Jasmine said as she entered the password to access the colony’s file. She clicks on a file called Project: Mach and all the data opens up. “Hmm, according to this, Kumori was the second prototype of Project: Mach. Hold on…second prototype? Then, who was the original? Who is the first prototype?” Jasmine said as she continued to search through the data.
As she was looking through the data, her ultra sensitive ears caught something that sounded like metal hitting against metal. Jasmine quickly closed the laptop and jumped to her feet to see Rock standing only a few feet away. “Hey, Rocky, long time no see.” Jasmine flirtingly said. “I have no time for games. Now hand over the emerald shards.” Rock demanded. Jasmine holds up the bag of emerald shards and says “You want them? Come get them.” Jasmine challenged.
Rock jumped at Jasmine, who used her jetpack to fly out of his way. Once Jasmine was high enough, she started spinning around at fast pace to perform her signature move. “SCREW KICK!” Jasmine shouted. Rock decided to counter her attack with his own signature move. “STRETCH PUNCH!” Rock shouted as he threw a powerful punch. The two attacks collided with Rock's attack dominating.
The hit from Rock's punch sent Jasmine flying to a thin steel beam that was hanging over a large vat of lava. Rock dropped down and prepared to end the fight. “It’s over girl.” Rock stated. Jasmine knew she was almost beaten. Jasmine grabs her side and pours out tears from her eyes shouting “Oh, it hurts” hearing Jasmine’s cries, Rock went to her side.
“How dumb do you think I am?” Rock asked. Jasmine turns over a tries to kick Rock in the head, but narrowly misses. Rock jumps back as Jasmine got back on to her feet. “Dang I didn't see that coming.” Rock stated. “Well there’s a surprise.” Jasmine said. Rock was fed up with Jasmine’s constant trickery and lunged himself at her. Rock's rash thinking caught Jasmine by surprise and was tackled to the ground.
Rock and Jasmine tumbled across the narrow beam, fighting for dominance of the battle. Rock tried to take control by using several headbutts at Jasmine and sending occasional jabs to her stomach. Jasmine tried to counter by biting Rock with her teeth and kneeing him in the gut a few times. Rock pushed Jasmine off him and they both jumped back onto their feet.
They were both panting from exhaustion as the fight took its toll. “Stop fooling around and give me back my emerald!” they shouted at the same time. “You have some nerve, attacking a lady, shame on you!” Jasmine said. “Trust me, you’re no lady.” Rock replied. “Why I oughtta…” Jasmine was cut off as she tripped and began to fall off the beam.
Jasmine thought that it was the end of her until Rock grabbed her hand and pulled her back up. When Jasmine got back on to her feet, she stared at her savior with a loving expression and Rock stared back. But the moment was ruined when Jasmine hit him.
“Keep your hands to yourself!” Jasmine said. “That’s the thanks I get for saving your life?” Rock said, confused. “Save my life? Yeah, right. You just wanted to touch my hand, you creep.” Jasmine stated. “You wish! I was only saving the Master Emerald so I could save my 2 friends that live in it!” Rock shouted. Jasmine then tosses the Master Emerald shards from her bag to Rock, who looked confused. “Take them. I owe you for saving my life.” Jasmine told him. “Uh, thanks.” Rock said to her as he collected the emerald shards.
Rock forged the energies together to change the Master Emerald back to its original form. “Finally.” Rock said in relief. Both looked to the side as they saw two balls of light transform into Tsunamiios and Chaos. “Thank you Rock. Because of you, Tsunami and I can live in peace once more. Now we should return to the temple.” Chaos said. “No. I am still needed here. But when this is over, I shall return.” Rock told the spirits. “Very well. We hope for your safe return.” Tsunami said as Chaos used chaos control to return to the Master Emerald temple.
Rock stood there for a second after Tsunami and Chaos disappeared before beginning to walk away. “Wait!” Jasmine called out. Rock looked back at her and asked “What do you want?” “You want to help your friends, right? Well, if you come with me to the main control room of the colony, then I could find something that might help.” Jasmine said. “Why should I trust you?” Rock asked suspiciously.
Jasmine turned to Rock and her most powerful technique: the puppy-eye stare. “Please, Rocky.” Jasmine said with a small pout. Rock was helpless to the power of the puppy-eyes and gave in. “Fine, but don't call me Rocky again.” Rock said. “Alright, lets go!” Jasmine said as she grabbed Rock by his shoulders and ran off to the colony.
On board the colony, Blur and Geisy had reached the control room of the Armageddon, where they found the other six chaos emeralds in the generator. “Alright Wing, we’re in the control room.” Blur said into his radio. “Great, now put the emerald…” he was cut off when Eggman’s voice came through instead. “Listen well, Blur. If you want to see your friends alive, then I suggest you come to research facility at once.” Eggman told him.
“What, Eggman?” Blur said in surprise. Blur was about to leave until. “Blur, what about the chaos emeralds?” Geisy asked. “No time, come on.” Blur said as he ran off. Geisy looked back for a minute before following Blur down the hall to save their friends.

After learning of the capture of their friends, Blur and Geisy raced to the research facility with their super speed. As they were running, one of the hallway doors opened up and Kumori stepped out from it. “Watch out!” Geisy shouted to her as they tried to slow down. Kumori looks over to see Blur and Geisy trying to stop their run, but failing badly. The duo crashes into Kumori and formed a pile on her. “Why does this always happen to me?” Kumori asked to God.
Blur and Geisy got up to their feet and Blur quickly asked “What are you doing here?” Judging from the tone of his voice, Sonic was still upset about the event back on Earth. “Maybe you didn’t know, but I live here. This is my home and you are trespassing.” Kumori told them. “Like I care, I still need to make you pay for what you said about Geisy.” Blur said as he raised his fists. Kumori also raised his fists for battle until Geisy interrupted.
“Blur we don’t have time. We have a few friends to save, remember.” Geisy reminded him. Blur lowered his fists and said “You’re right, but I’ll be back for you, Witch!” Blur ran off while Geisy stayed behind for a minute. “Good to see you’re feeling better.” Geisy said to Kumori. “Thanks. Where is he going anyway?” Kumori asked. “To the research facility to save his friends from Eggman, I guess I better go to. Later.” Geisy said as she chased after Blur.
After receiving the information from Geisy, Kumori walked away, trying to figure out Eggman’s plan. “Why would Eggman bring them there? The only thing dangerous in there is the exploding po…” Kumori trailed off as she had finally realized Eggman’s intention. “Oh no, Eggman is planning to kill Blur in space. I want to help him, but then Mach would think I was a traitor.” Kumori said to herself.
She continued to think of a way to help the heroes until an idea dawned on to her. Kumori began to run the opposite direction of Blur, heading to the main control room. “I might not be able to save Blur, but at least I can stop Eggman from firing the Armageddon. I must keep my promise to Geisy.” Kumori said.
Blur had reached the research facility and found Eggman in his Egg walker with no Wing or Alexis in sight. “Where are they, Eggman?!” Blur demanded. “You mean these little brats, they’re just fine.” Eggman said as he moved his Egg walker to show Wing holding a scared Alexis. “Now down to business, Blur. Place the chaos emerald you have in the center of the room.” Eggman instructed.
Blur pulls out his fake emerald and thought “If I give him this, I can take out two birds with one stone.” Blur walked over to the center of the room and placed the fake chaos emerald on the ground. “Wow, you turned into a big time villain, Doc.” Blur said, silently chuckling. Just as he was about to back away, a capsule appeared from underneath the floor and trapped the blue hero.
“What the?” Blur said in surprise. “You really thought you could trick me with that chaos emerald.” Eggman said. “How did you know it was fake?” Wing asked. "WING!" Blur shouted “Because you just told me.” Eggman replied. Wing was caught off guard as he realized that Eggman had tricked him into telling about the fake emerald. Geisy had just entered the room and watch as the plot unfolded. “Farewell, Blur, my great adversary.” Eggman said as he pressed a button and launched the capsule out to space. “BLUR!” the remaining heroes shouted.
Inside the capsule Blur looked around to see if there was a way to escape, but there wasn’t. The Blur’s memory returns to what Wing said about the fake emerald. ‘It has the same wavelength and properties as a real one, but it’s not as powerful.’ Blur also remembered all the times he had seen Mach use it. ‘CHAOS CONTROL!’ “I hope this works” Blur said as he raised the fake emerald and shouted “CHAOS CONTROL” then the capsule exploded.
Back at the research facility, the heroes watched as Blur’s capsule exploded. Alexis had broken down to a ballistic cry as Wing tried to comfort her. Geisy stood in place for a moment before turning to Eggman. “You… You monster!” Geisy shouted.
“Quit sniveling, you little cretin. “Eggman said. Geisy slowly made her way to the doctor and Eggman raised the foot of the walker to crush Geisy. “Ha-ha, to destroy two enemies in one day, this is too perfect.” Eggman as he sent the walker’s foot straight down. The walker then stopped for no apparent reason. Eggman looked over to see Geisy holding the foot with only one hand.
“You’ll pay, Eggman.” Geisy said as she swung her foot around to send it straight through the walker’s leg. Without the other leg to support it, the walker fell back with a thud. Eggman crawled out of the walker and saw Geisy standing in front of him, cracking her knuckles. “Can we talk about this?” Eggman persuaded. “No.” Geisy replied as she proceeded to give Eggman the beating of his life
Rock and Jasmine entered the main control room and Jasmine was the first to run up to the six emeralds. “Finally, the emeralds are mine! All mine!” Rouge shouted in glee. “A greedy one, aren’t you?” Rock joked, but Jasmine paid no attention to it. “If you know what’s good for you, you’ll back away from the emeralds.” Mach’s voice came from behind.
The two looked back to see Mach standing only a few feet away from them. “So, was this your plan all along or was it an order from the Government?” Mach asked. Jasmine stood their shocked before asking “So you knew all along?” “Knew what?” Rock asked. “That Jasmine here is a on a assignment for G.U.N.” Mach explained. “YOUR WHAT?” Rock shouted I surprise. “That’s right; she has lied to everyone all this time. She is nothing but a fake.” Mach said. “I wouldn’t be talking if I were you faker.” Jasmine said.
Mach looked at her confused as she held up a picture with a massive lizard on it. “This here is the real Perfect life.” Jasmine said. “That thing is only a prototype. Nothing compared to my power.” Mach explained. "I think it might be better if you listen unlike the first prototype you and Kumori were never created just edited Mr Robotnik took you from your real families and said you were Perfect life forms you two had been played for fools!" Rouge replied. Then Kumori walked into the room. “Kumori what are you doing here?” asked Mach.
Kumori walked by everyone and stopped at the control panel before saying “I am going to stop the Armageddon before it fires.” Kumori explained. Kumori was about to access the panel until she felt someone punch her in the stomach hard. She looked over to see the blow had come from Mach. “But, why? Kumori questioned.
“I can’t let you stop the Armageddon. I must make the humans pay for what they’ve done.” Mach said to her. Kumori clutched her stomach and fell to her knees and asked “But why Mach? Don’t you remember the promise you made to me?” “You made a promise to me, remember?” Kumori said to him. Mach’s mind flashes back to the day he left Mars 8 years ago.
---Flashback---
Mach and Kumori were trapped in capsules similar to the one Blur was launched from as the watched a dying Mr Robotnik make his way to the controls. “Kumori!” Mach shouted. Kumori looked back with a smile as said “Mach, I want you to promise me something. Promise me that no matter what happens, do not hate humans for their actions. Give them a chance to be happy, and that you'll always be there for me.” Mr Robotnik pulled the lever and launched the two from Mars. “I promise!” Shadow desperately shouted.
After Mach was finished remembering, a tear could be seen running down Mach's face. he began to walk out of the room until Jasmine asked “Where are you going?” “To keep my promise.” Mach replied as he ran off.
In a far corridor section near the Armageddon, Blur landed after being teleported by chaos control. Blur looked at the fake emerald and watched it dissolve into nothing. "Thanks, Wing" Blur said quietly “It seems that you don’t die easily.” Blur looked back to find Mach walk next to him. “I guess that is one more thing we have in common.” Mach said, still walking. “I owe it all to you, Mach.” Blur said, gaining speed. “So you used chaos control with a fake emerald. I’m impressed.” Mach said, braking into a run along side Blur.
“So are you going to stop me?” Blur asked. Mach shook his head and said “On the contrary, I’m here to help you.” “But why?” Blur asked, confused. “I made a promise that I intend to keep.” Mach said. “Alright, race ya there.” Blur challenged. “You’re on.” Mach accepted. The two hedgehogs were no longer holding back as the raced off to the Armageddon.
Back at the research facility, Geisy had finished beating up Eggman, when Jasmine and Rock, who was carrying Kumori, entered the room. “Is everyone alright?” Rock asked. “We’re fine.” Geisy replied. “Where’s Blur?” Knuckles asked. Everyone looked downcast as Geisy slowly began to speck. “Blur…he’s” “Just fine.” Came Mach’s voice. Kumori pulled out a small radio and asked “What do you mean, Mach?” “Look outside.” Mach told them.
The group looked out the window like Mach said and watched as the Armageddon was ready to fire. But just as the cannon was about to fire its beam, it suddenly exploded. The group then looked onward to see Blur hanging by a pipe and Mach using his hover skates to cling to the side. “BLUR!” “MACH!” the group yelled in celebration. Not knowing Eggman secretly stole the chaos emerald from Wing and walked away silently.
As Kumori looked closer at Mach, she noticed that, for the first time in 8 years, Mach was smiling. “Thanks for keeping my promise, Mach.” Kumori said silently. Outside, Blur looked to Mach and gave him a thumbs-up. Mach was hesitant at first but soon returned the thumbs-up with his own.
In the main control room, Eggman had placed the last chaos emerald in the generator. “Ha, with the seven chaos emeralds in place, nothing can stop me from creating the Eggman Empire!” Eggman shout. Eggman gave off an evil laugh, oblivious to the red glowing warning sign on the screen.

Eggman had just placed the final chaos emerald into the generator of the Armageddon, but something was wrong. “What? What’s happening? Why won’t the Armageddon fire?” Eggman continually asked. Then on the screen, a man that looked similar to Eggman except his mustache dull Brown and he was wearing a hawaiin shirt, appeared. “It’s…my father, Mr Robotnik!” Eggman exclaimed.
After the destruction of the Armageddon, Blur and Mach returned to the research facility and were greeted with praise. “That was amazing, Blur” Wing said with excitement. “Don’t thank me, thank Mach. If it wasn’t for him, I never would have found my way around the place.” Blur told them. Alexis walked up to Mach and bowed her head in respect, saying “Thank you, Mach” “It was nothing.” Mach said like it was no big deal.
Suddenly the entire room begins to shake, with everyone trying to keep their balance. “What’s going on?!” Rock asked. Everyone heard a beeping sound as Jasmine pulled out a small handheld computer and read a message on it. “Uh oh, this is bad.” Jasmine said. “What? What’s happening?” Blur asked quickly. “The president says that Mars is going to collide with Earth. If we don’t do some thing soon, both planets will be destroyed.” Jasmine explained.
Everyone looked to Wing, hoping he would have a solution. “Sorry guy, but I’m all out of ideas.” Wing told them. Then, one of the screens activated and showed Mr Robotnik’s recording on it. “Who is that guy?” Blur asked. “That’s Mr Robotnik, me and Kumori’s editor from what Jasmine said.” Mach explained to the rest of the group.
Mr Robotnik’s recording was not only playing on the colony, but through out the world as well. "This is a death sentence for every being on Earth. If my calculations are correct, Mars will impact into Earth in thirteen minutes, fourty-two seconds. All of you will be destroyed, along with your beloved planet Earth." The recording said.
Back on Mars, the recording continued to play. "I plan to give you a taste of my revenge, once all the seven Chaos Emeralds are collected. Once I initiate this program, it cannot be disabled. All of you ungrateful humans, who took everything away from me... will feel my loss, and despair!" the recoding finished.
“I can’t believe my own father would do something as terrible as this.” Eggman said as he entered the room. “Eggman, I knew you were behind this. Stop this thing right now or…” Rock was cut off “If I could I would have done it a long time ago.” Eggman told them. “What do you mean?” Blur asked. Eggman took notice of Blur and said “You’re a persistent little hedgehog aren’t you.” he walked over to Jasmine and handed her a small disk. “What is this?” She questioned. “It’s my father’s journal.” Eggman told her. Jasmine put the disk into her computer and read the diary.
"I don't quite know what happened, or what went wrong. Was it a mistake to create the Perfect Life Forms? I thought it would be something that would benefit mankind... But then the military guards landed on Mars that day. They were sent to destroy the research project that I had been working on. My colleagues at the research facility, I hoped you were all safe.” "The colony was shut down under the premise that there had been an 'accident'. I saw everyone's name among those who died when the colony was shut down. They meant everything to me! And I couldn't bear the thought that they died because of my research. I lost everything! I had nothing more to live for! I went insane!! All I could think about, was to avenge them! Somehow, someway, I got scared as I no longer was able to control my thoughts. All I could think about, was that I wanted it all to end. Based on my original projections, I was able to complete my project: Mach from a small hedgehog a mysterious figure gave me. I designed its mind to be perfect, pure... I will leave everything, to him. If you wish, release and awaken it, then you will fill the world with destruction. If Kumori and Mach not truely made by me, both born on Earth stolen from their families don't do their job I leave the rest to the BIOLIZARD MK II"
“That would explain why you released Mach and Kumori from the G.U.N. base.” Jasmine said to Eggman. “The core of the Armageddon is now highly reactive and explosive. This is because of the energy of the Chaos Emeralds is overpowering it. If Mars collides with Earth, they will shatter into pieces like my father predicted!” Eggman explained.
“We have to stop Mars from colliding, now!” Geisy said. Mars' position may have shifted due to the amount of energy given off by the Emeralds. We have to stop the energy!” Eggman explained. "First, Blur, Mach and Rock must go to the cannons main core. I will instruct you once you get there.” Eggman instructed. “Right, lead the way, Mach.” Blur said. Mach nodded and ran off with Blur and Rock following close behind.
After a long trek through the maze known as Planet Colony: 001, the group of three had arrived at the core of the Armageddon. After taking a good look, Rock noticed that the structure was similar to the temple back on Angel Island. “Amazing, it looks just likes just like the Master Emerald temple. It even has pillars for the chaos emeralds.” Rock said in awe. “It was designed to harness the power of the chaos emeralds, so it had to have some similarities to the guardien's home.” Mach explained.
Alright, you three. Now use the Master Emerald to discharge the energies of the chaos emeralds.” Eggman explained. “Got it. Ok, Rock, let’s get to work.” Blur said. Blur then noticed that Rock didn’t pull out the Master Emerald. “You did bring it, right?” Mach asked. “Well… there's a funny story to that.” Rock said, causing Blur and Mach to slap their heads at his stupidity.
Then a strange glow appears above Rock head and the Master Emerald came down crashing on the substitute guardian. Tsunamiios appeared alongside Chaos and asked “Where’s Rock?” Blur and Mach pointed behind them and looked back to see Rock push the large emerald off of him. “Sorry, Rock.” Chaos apologized
“Tsunamiios, Chaos, what are you doing here?” Rock asked. “We felt the chaos emeralds being used for dark purposes and brought you the Master Emerald to help.” Chaos explained. “Thank you, both of you.” Rock said. “Alright, we wasted enough time. Let’s hurry up and stop Mars.” Mach said. The other nodded their heads in agreement and walked to the copied temple.
Then, the room begins to shake as it is enveloped in a ray of light. When the light had cleared, the five heroes were standing in front of a large alien-looking lizard with a giant machine on its back with tube going down its head that acted as a life-support. “What is that?” Tsunamiios asked frightened. “it’s my prototype, the Biolizard MK II. I’ll take care of this. You guys head to the temple.” Mach told them. They nodded their heads as they ran to the temple, leaving Mach to fight his prototype.
“Come and get me, you abomination.” Mach said to his prototype. The Biolizard MK II began his attack by lifting his claw to the air and swung it down hard. Mach avoided it with his speed and saw the perfect opportunity to attack. “CHAOS SPEAR!” Shadow shout as several yellow arrows attack the Biolizard MK II’s side. But the attack laid no damage to it. “What the?” Mach said.
The Biolizard MK II took a chance to lift his tail and swung at Mach, sending him flying to the wall. Mach was hit hard but managed to pull himself to his feet. The Biolizard MK II extended its head towards him and Mach quickly avoided the attack by jumping of its head. While in the air, Mach saw the life-support system on its back and figured a way to beat it.
“I got you now. CHAOS SPEAR!” Mach shouted as he sent his arrows to destroy the life-support system on its back. Without the life-support, the Biolizard MK II could no longer live and fell to the ground, dead. Mach stands in front of the dead Biolizard MK II with a small smirk of victory. “You didn’t stand a chance, you disgusting prototype.” Mach said before he ran off to the temple.
Once Mach had reached the temple, Rock, Tsunamiios and Chaos had just finish setting the Master Emerald in place. “Is it ready?” Mach asked. “Yes, know all me must do is discharge the power of the chaos emeralds.” Chaos explained. “Do it.” Mach told them. Rock, Tsunamiios and Chaos stood around the Master Emerald and performed the chant. "The servers are, the seven Chaos. Chaos is power; power is enriched by the heart. The controller is the one that unifies the Chaos. Only you can do this; stop the Chaos Emeralds!”
When the chant was over, Tsunamiios and Chaos disappeared and the seven chaos emeralds fell from their pillars towards the ground. But not before that happened, the Biolizard MK II came to life once more and disappeared in a flash of light. “What happened?” Rock asked. “It must have used chaos control to transport. The only question is, where?” Mach said. “I have an even better question, why is Mars still moving?” Blur asked. The others also noticed Mars had not stopped, even after they discharged the chaos emerald. But why?
Just then Eggman’s voice came from his radio and said “The prototype is still alive! It has attached itself to Mars and is pulling it straight towards earth!” Eggman exclaimed. “How are we going to stop it now?” Rock said. Blur looked at Mach, who looked back, and knew what the other was thinking.
The duo hedgehogs raised their hands and the seven chaos emeralds began to circle them. Blur gathered the energies of the emeralds and became Super Blur, like in the battle against Tsunamiios. Mach also gathers the energies and his fur turns to a tan-white color with his Red highlights still in place to become Super Mach.
Blur looked to Mach and asked “Are you ready for this, Mach” Mach smirked at the question and replied “I was born ready, Blur.” The hedgehog duo raised their hands together and shouted “DOUBLE CONTROL!” and with that, the two hedgehogs disappeared, headed for the final showdown.

Using the power of chaos control, Super Blur and Super Mach appeared outside Mars. “So where is the big guy? All I see is a giant rock.” Super Blur said. “Uh…Blur, I don’t think that’s a rock” Mach said. He was right, the ‘rock’ was actually the Biolizard MK II, but it had attached itself to Mars to become the Final Hazard MK II.
“Whoa, what happened?” Blur asked. “Somehow, the Biolizard MK II used the power of chaos control to become one with Mars.” Eggman said over Mach's radio. “So how do we stop it?” Mach asked. “Without its life-support system to sustain it, the Biolizard MK II has become very weak. Aim for the red swelling areas on its sides to defeat it.” Eggman instructed them. “Got it. Blur, you take one side while I take the other.” Mach told him. “Got it.” Blur said.
First up was Super Blur as he flew to the left side of the Final Hazard MK II. Blur had spotted the red swelling like Eggman had said and flew at it. “Ha, this is too easy.” Blur said. He was right; it was too easy, so the Final Hazard decided to change that. Soon, red egg like objects popped out of its skin and attacked the super hedgehog. But just merely avoided them, seeing as how they were too slow to hit him. When Blur was close enough, he readied his fist a sent a clear shot at its swelling. The Final Hazard MK II let out a roar of pain as its weak spot had been hit. “Alright Mach, your up.” Blur said.
“Leave it to me. I’ll destroy it.” Mach said. Like Blur, Mach was flying towards the swelling to defeat it. The Final Hazard MK II, learning from the last hit, accessed one of the colony’s lasers and shot it at Mach. Mach saw the laser out of the corner of his eye and changed his direction slightly to avoid the laser. Mach had reached the swelling and delivered a strong blow to it, causing even more pain for his prototype. “My part is done. How are things on your side, Blur?” Mach called out.
“It looks like this thing still has some strength. We’ll have to take care of that.” Blur said as he flew to another swelling. The Final Hazard MK II activated the laser it used on Mach, except this time it was moving. Once Blur saw the laser he avoided it, only to have it chase after him. Blur came up with an idea to go around in circles until the laser lost its target. His plan had worked and he attacked another swelling, causing the Final Hazard MK II to screech in pain again. “Take that you monster. Mach, you ok.” Blur called out
“Here I come, you freak!” Mach shouted to the creature. Mach was flying to another swelling when the Final Hazard MK II decided to spice things up a bit. This time the Final Hazard MK II activated two lasers instead of one. Mach was quick to avoid the first one, but saw the second one headed straight for him. Mach then came up with an idea and shouted “CHAOS SPEAR!” Mach’s attack blocked the laser long enough for him to get past and land a blow on one of the Final Hazard's swellings.
Blur and Mach flew next to each other as they watched the Final Hazard MK II in front of them was still moving. “One more hit should do it.” Said Mach. “Then let’s hit it!” Blur exclaimed. They both flew at the last two swellings at full speed. The Final Hazard decided to go all out and launch its entire arsenal at the two. The hedgehog duo had managed to make it past the egg wall, but was soon faced with an oncoming barrage of 4 lasers. Blur and Mach were doing their best to avoid the lasers, but were hit numerous times by the powerful lasers.
“Looks like he isn’t going down without a fight.” Blur said with a smirk. “Just the way I like it. Alright Blur, no more holding back. Let’s go!” Mach shouted. The pair used their super-sonic super-speed to avoid the lasers with no problem and struck the last two swellings with extreme force at the same time.
Even after all they had done, the Final Hazard MK II was still pulling Mars towards Earth. “What are we going to do? That was our best shot.” Blur said. Mach’s mind was preoccupied with the promise he had made to Kumori. ‘Mach…give them a chance to be happy.’ An Idea hit Mach and he turned to Blur.
“Blur, I have an idea. When I give the signal, you use chaos control to send Mars back to its proper place.” Mach instructed. “What about you, Mach?” Blur asked. “I am going to rid the world of this monstrosity forever.” Mach said as he flew off. Mach floated only a few feet away from the Final Hazard MK II. “Alright you freak, time to end this.” Mach said as he gathered a large amount of Chaos energy in both his hands. The Final Hazard MK II opened its mouth to devour him as Mach brought both the energies together to form one giant arrow. The Final Hazard MK II was about to close its mouth on Mach when he shouted “CHAOS LANCE!” Mach fired the arrow and completely obliterated the prototype.
“BLUR NOW!” Mach shouted. Blur raised his hands and shouted “CHAOS CONTROL” all of Mars was entirely enveloped in an orb of light and disappeared. Mach was not so lucky, for he reverted to his original form and fell to Earth. “So, this is the end. At least I was able to keep my promise.” Mach said as he closed his eyes to await death. Then Kumori’s voice entered his head “MACH!”
---Flashback---
“Never say that, understand. You’re not useless. You are important to many people aboard the Mars, including me, you got that. Never think like that ever again.” Mach told her. Kumori was shocked by Mach’s speech and had stopped crying almost instantly. “Thank you, Mach.” Kumori said with a smile. Her smile soon turned into a frown as she turned her back towards him.
“What’s wrong?” Mach asked. “I just feel that I will do nothing but get you into trouble and get in your way.” Kumori said to him. “Don’t worry; I’ll always be there to help, when you need it.” Mach told her. “But, I don’t want to be in the way.” Kumori said. Mach placed a hand on her shoulder saying “Kumori, you will never be in the way. If ever you need me, I will always be there.” Mach told her. Kumori looked to him and asked “Promise?” “Promise.” Mach said.
---End of Flashback---
Mach opened his eyes and realized; he was still needed. “No, this can’t end! Not here!” Mach shouted. Mach released his Gold ring gauntlets from his wrists and clutched the rings into his hands. The rings began to glow in his hands, which meant that it was time to act. “I made a promise and I am going to keep it! I won’t die here! CHAOS CONTROL!” Mach shouted as he entered Earth’s atmosphere.
Mars was transported to its original position in space. Blur returned to the inside of the colony and entered the research facility, where everyone was waiting. Kumori walked up to Blur and asked “Where is Mach?” Blur shed a tear before saying “Mach…he didn’t…” Blur trailed off. “Didn’t what?” A voice came from behind. The gang looked back to see Mach enter the room. “Mach, you’re alive!” Blur shouted in surprise. “Of course. You didn’t think something like that would kill me, did you?” Mach asked.
“Mach!” Kumori shouted as she pulled Mach in a tight hug. “Kumori, what’s wrong.” Mach asked, breaking out of her hug. “Oh, Mach. I was afraid that you had died and I would never get a chance to tell you the truth. But now that you're here I can’t waste my chance. I love you, Mach the hedgehog.” Kumori told him. After hearing Kumori’s declaration of love, Mach blushed and he slowly backed away. “Maybe I should…” Mach was cut off as Kumori caught him in a bone-breaking hug similar to one Geisy gives to Blur.
On one side of the room, Eggman was having a conversation with Wing and Alexis. “As a child, I looked up to my father because of all the great things he accomplished in his life. He was my hero, and I wanted to be a great scientist like him. But... did he really mean to destroy us?” Eggman asked. “I don’t really know what to believe anymore.” Wing said. “But we saved the world and we did it together!” Alexis said. “Your right.” Eggman said.
On another side, Rock was having a conversation with Jasmine. “What now, Jasmine? Off to recover more stuff?” Rock asked. “Nah, too much work and not enough pay. Besides, I found something even better then jewels.” Jasmine replied. “Oh yeah, what’s that?” Rock asked. “You’ll find out soon enough.” Jasmine said as she kissed Rock on his cheek before walking off. Rock watched her leave as he touched the cheek that Jasmine kissed.
Kumori continued to hug Mach until she saw Blur staring angrely at her. Kumori let go of Mach and walked over to Blur and said “Blur, I'm sorry I lied to you.” “What?” Blur asked suspiciously. “I said I'm sorry.” Kumori told him. “Thanks?” Blur thanked.
Blur was sad at first, but then turned happy almost instantly. “That’s good. Now, where were we, Mach?” Kumori said. Kumori looked back to see Mach trying to sneak away from Kumori before she could spot him. “Mach!” at that, Mach gave up sneaking and made a break for it with Kumori closely behind him. The group laughed at the sight until Geisy noticed Blur looking out the window.
Geisy walks up to Blur and asks “Are you ok?” “I’m better then I’ve ever been.” Blur proclaimed. “That’s good. Come on we have to get going.” Geisy said as she and the rest of the group left the room. Blur was about to leave when he decided to take one last look at the Earth. “See ya next time, Mach the hedgehog.” Blur said before leaving.
Somewhere aboard the colony, Mach was running as fast as he could to try shake Kumori off his tail. “You can’t escape the power of love, Mach!” Kumori shouted, causing Mach to groan. As Mach was running, he looked out the many windows in the hallway to watch the sun rising from behind the planet. “Next time is sooner then you think, Blur Journey Blazer." Mach said quietly. Once again the world had been saved, thanks to Blur and Mach.
Like they normally do, the chaos had scattered around the world, but this time something was different. All around the world, the chaos emerald began to glow for unknown reasons. In a desert far away, a mysterious black hole appeared in the ground and a new figure appeared from it. Since it was night time, you couldn’t see his face, but what you could see was the pulsating dark aura surrounding him.
“I’m free? Ha-ha, I’m FREE! Finally, it has been too long since I have been able walk amongst this planet.” The figure said. The figure looked up to see Mars. “If I am free, then that must mean someone has used the Master Emerald to discharge the powers of the chaos emeralds. The fools, they don’t realize the terror they have unleashed.” The figure said. He raise his hand to the sky, as if trying to grab Mars. “And with Chaos to weak now to stop me, I will rule this world just as I did, 10000 years ago.” The figure said and he gave out a chilling evil laugh to begin his first step towards his plans of conquering the Earth.

The Prolouge part 3 of 10: Road of Memories

Over a month has passed since Blur and Mach united their powers to defeat the Final Hazard MK II on Mars. Ever since that day, Blur has been traveling the world, but it wasn’t for fun like it usually was. After the battle on Mars, Blur relized that he had to help Kumori and Mach find their families ever since he's been searching the globe, but he been unsuccessful so far. But this story is not about Blur this time it's about Mach.
In the far city of Future City, Mach stands on a hill just outside the city. Things weren’t right with him and his memories. His mind was abuzz with the confusion of determining which of his memories was real and which were lies. He also was curious about the differences between him and his prototype, the Biolizard MK II.
Then, the wind blew by with a newspaper being carried by it. As the newspaper was about to pass him, his eyes caught a particular article and quickly grabbed it before it got too far away for him to reach. ‘Fire-in-the-sky Celebration, 50 Year return of White Comet!’ he read from the paper out loud. “White Comet, that name seems familiar somehow, probably nothing.” Mach thought as he allowed the paper to be taken by the wind once more.
“My mind so very confused, now more then ever. I am slowly forgetting everything I once knew about my past. I can hardly remember anything that happened over 8 years ago, except for those times with Kumori and...that weird image.” Mach thought. He smiled as he remembered the times he would spend with Kumori, just watching the planet below them. Then that image he was talking about appeared in his mind it was a picture of 2 hedgehogs and himslef when they were born, the image of when give him the same feeling as when Blur became Drakspines Blur, only worse, but the image was coloress so he couldn't tell who the other hedgehogs were.
Mach watched the Earth as Kumori taught him everything she knew about it, that she learned from Mr Robotnik. “Mr Robotnik told me that the Earth is made up of mostly water and that when the sun sets over the horizon, the sky is filled with a beautiful array of colors.” Kumori told him. “Wow, Mr Robotnik is lucky to have lived on such a planet.” Mach said. “Yeah, maybe we’ll visit there someday.” Kumori said hopeful “Don’t count on it.” Mach said
Just then Mr Robotnik walked in. “Don’t say that Mach, I’m sure you’ll go there someday.” Mr Robotnik said to him. “I guess.” Mach said.
“Mr Robotnik. He was always a goofball.” Mach thought. Mach looked to the city in front of him and thought how much Mr Robotnik lived on this planet insted of Mars. Mach knew that the reason Mr Robotnik had been sent to Mars was because of science and could not travel back to Earth, for it didn’t matter. In the end.” Mach thought as he remembered how he was killed by the G.U.N. soldiers after sending Mach and Kumori to Earth.
Another thing that was bothering him was about him and his prototype. Sure, it was created by the same person for the same reason, but Mach was different then the other. The first prototype created by Mr Robotnik was the Biolizard MK II. The most obvious difference between the two was the fact that it was a huge lizard monster and he was a small speedy hedgehog. Unlike Mach, the Biolizard used a life-support system to survive, but it could use the power of the chaos emeralds like him.
Then there was Kumori. Mach was the closest person to Mach in many ways. First off, she was a hedgehog like him, had super speed like him, and didn't have eternal youth like Mach as well. But despite the similarities, Kumori was different because she wasn't as strong as Mach. “I don’t understand. Why am I different from the other 1, but the same as 1 too? Just what exactly is the truth of my origin?” Mach asked himself.
As Mach pondered these questions, Slime Green clouds began to form over the city of Westopolis. The clouds open themselves up and an amazingly large amount of white demonic aliens fell from them. When the aliens first landed on to the ground, they started to destroy everything in sight without even showing the slightest bit of hesitation.
Mach watched as the aliens were destroying the city and not planning on letting them continue their rampage. “If those alien freaks think they can come destroy my planet, my home, then they got another thing coming.” Mach proclaimed. Mach was about to run into the city and eliminate the alien invaders until his ears caught the sound of a demonic bone-chilling voice. “Mach…”
Mach looked behind him and saw White-Green starfish like-alien with a large, bright Blue eye float towards him. The alien stopped and its eye glowed to show a hologram of, what Mach thought, was the alien leader. The leader was a floating White, 5-eyed alien with 4 Blue horizontal horns. He wore a Cyan and Sapphire robe with a chain around his neck and various jewels all around his robe. The figure looked to Mach and seemed somewhat pleased by his arrival.
“As you can see, the day of reckoning will soon be here. Find the seven Chaos Emeralds, and bring them to me - as promised, Mach.” The alien said to Mach. Mach was shocked and confused at how the alien leader knew his name and wanted him to bring him the most powerful items in the entire world. “Alright, who are you and give me one good reason why I should do what you say!” Mach shouted. The alien leader looked at Mach strangely, thinking he was joking. But he wasn’t.
“I am White Horror, leader of the White Legs.” White Horror stated. “The White Legs?” Mach questioned. “And I do happen to have a good reason for you to obey me.” White Horror told him. “Oh yeah, What?!” Mach asked with anger. “You wish to know the truth about you origins, do you not? Find and bring me the seven chaos emeralds and I will tell you who your family is.” White Horror offered. Mach shocked to learn that this White monstrosity could hold the answers to the very questions he wanted answered.
Mach was about to ask White Horror how he knew anything about him, but was unable to as the hologram disappeared and the eye floated away. He was ready to chase it until a few random explosions caused him to lose his balance. Mach got back on his feet with a look of determination in his eyes. “He knows something about my origins, then like it or not, I have to believe him. That means I must find the seven chaos emeralds. But can I really trust him?” Mach said. Mach ran off into the destroyed city to begin his hunt the emeralds and his secrets.

The White aliens or as White Horror calls them, the White Legs, were rampaging around the helpless city of Future City, with very few people protecting it. G.U.N. soldiers were stationed at many points of the city, but did not have enough men or fire power to destroy the invaders. On one of the wrecked buildings, Mach watched as the struggle for survival continued. “I don’t know which of them to side with. I made a promise to Kumori, but White Horror knows about my origins. I must make a decision here.” Mach said as he fell of the ledge of the building.
When Mach had reached the ground, he saw a G.U.N. soldier shooting at winged White alien. Mach still hadn’t decided which side to join and watched the two battle until a large blue laser came from out of nowhere and killed them both. Mach walked up to the dead G.U.N. soldier and looked as his body had been completely burned by the laser. Mach then heard the sound of fast moving footsteps coming from behind and already knew who it was. Mach looked back to see that his answer was correct, it was Blur Journey Blazer.
“Hey Mach, long time no see.” Blur said to his dark counterpart. “Blur? I thought you were looking for Me and Kumori's families.” Shadow said. “I was looking for them in this city when these White creatures attacked. I could really use your help to get rid of them.” Blur said to him. Mach gave no reply because he hasn’t decided which side he was on. Instead, he just ran in the direction of the fighting and Blur thought Mach was helping him.
They ran down a hillside to find three G.U.N. soldiers being killed by a single White alien. “Come on Mach, we got to help them.” Blur said. Defeating the White alien was simple, all Blur had to do was use a single homing attack and the creature was down. “Ha, that was easy.” Blur said. Blur noticed that Mach did not help him, but instead walked past him to a glass box. Mach thrust his hand through the glass and pulled out a green chaos emerald. “Alright a chaos emerald, that is sure to help us defeat these White creatures.” Blur said.
Then, White Horror’s alien starfish, or Horror’s Eye, slithered through the air and stopped in front of Blur and Mach. “Good work, Mach. You have retrieved one of the chaos emeralds. Now all we need is six more to complete our plans.” White Horror’s voice came through the eye. Blur walked up to the eye and asked “Who are you and what do you want with Mach?” “Mach has agreed to obtain the seven chaos emeralds for me and my army in our plans for your world. In return I tell him who his family is.” White Horror said. Blur looked to Mach in disbelief and anger and asked “Is this true, Mach?”
Mach was caught between two impossible choices. If he said no, then White Horror would not tell Mach what he knows about his family. But if he said yes, he would be betraying his greatest rival and, possibly, best friend. Mach continued to think hard until they heard a pair of screams coming from one direction. A White Leg soldier had caught a young women and her daughter and raised its sword to kill them. “Yes, do it.” White Horror said. “No, don’t!” Blur shouted.
The alien raised its sword to its highest point and started its descent on the poor mother and daughter. But then, the sound of a spear shot rang through the air and the creature stopped only an inch from the young girls face. The girl looked up and watched as the alien stood there for a moment before falling sideways to the ground, dead. Blur and White Horror looked back to see Mach launching a Chaos Spear and aimed at the aliens previous position.
“Mach, What have you done?! You have attacked one of our soldiers!” White Horror said furiously. Mach said nothing as he aimed his hand with another Chaos Spear at the Horror’s Eye. “I don’t take orders from you or anyone else. I follow my own commands, understand? I am a hero not a villain” Mach said as he was preparing another Chaos Spear. “This isn’t over Mach you traitor” White Horror said before his eye flew away. Mach got rid of the Chaos Spear attack and walked next to Blur.
“There are most likely more aliens in the city. We must stop them before they destroy anymore lives.” Mach said to him. “Wow Mach, you really surprise me. Back when I first met you, I never would have thought we would be working together. And to think you've risked not learning who your family is” Blur said running. Mach smirked as he ran into the city along side Mach, saying “Your right. I never would have guessed. Plus I can just get all the emeralds give them to White Horror and then once he tells me who my family is I'll destroy him!” They raced into the deeper part of the city the find a road block of White Leg soldiers.
The White Legs were facing Mach and Blur as the activated their laser shield and to create a wall. By the looks of the formation, it looked like they were trying to guard something from them. Blur was able to peek though the wall a bit to see an alien soldier holding the blue chaos emerald. “He’s got a chaos emerald.” Blur said. “Then we’ll just have to get it back.” Mach said as he cracked his knuckles.
The hedgehog heroes charged at the wall of alien until they pulled out their strangely shaped gun and fired. Seeing them fire, Blur and Mach stopped dead in their tracks and jumped behind a piece of rubble. They could feel the rubble shake from the blasts, knowing that it wouldn’t last for long. “Great, now what are he going to do? He's got alien technology years ahead of ours” Blur asked. Mach was equally clueless at how to proceed until he remembered the chaos emerald he had obtained earlier. He pulled out the green chaos emerald and showed it to Blur, who smiled, knowing what Mach had planned.
The White Leg soldier kept blasting away at the rubble, trying to kill the hedgehogs behind it. Thinking it was taking to long, the soldier with the chaos emerald walked to the front line and pulled out small black gun with a large hole in the middle. The alien pulled the trigger and a missile-like blast escaped from it and destroyed the rubble and probably the heroes. They looked at the spot where the blast hit to see nothing but a small crater, causing them to think they had won. Big mistake.
Out of nowhere, a small Purple arrow plunged itself in the aliens head and killed it. The other looked to where the arrow had come from to see Blur and Mach falling from the sky, holding the green chaos emerald. The aliens resumed firing at the two and Blur formed a familiar blue sphere of energy in his other hand. “Do it.” Mach said. As the shots came closer to them, Blur threw the small blue sphere of energy at the aliens as it engulfed the shots along the way to become bigger.
When it had reached the ground, the sphere was the size of a Blur’s ego. The aliens were expecting something to happen, but nothing did. “CHAOS WIND!” Blur shouted. The energy sphere finally gave out and released all the stored energy to create several blades of wind to chop all of the alien soldiers to pieces. The hedgehog duo had landed on the ground and Mach was shocked at how powerful Blur’s attack had become.
“Your new move has become more skilled and powerful since the last time you used it.” Mach stated. Blur smiled at Mach for the compliment before saying “Well, I’ve been practicing while searching for your and Kumori's family's.” Blur walked to the dead alien soldier and grabbed the blue chaos emerald out of its hand. Blur then surprisingly threw it to Mach. “You deserve it after all you did today. I'm not so sure about that plan of yours, but if helps you find your family I'm okay with it.” Blur said with a thumbs-up, which Mach returned.
The Horror’s Eye had returned and floated in front of Mach. “Our men have found the third emerald in this city. White Horror is giving you a chance to redeem yourself, Mach. Bring him those chaos emeralds and all will be forgiven.” Horror's Eye said before it floated off. “I guess that means…welcome to the next level! Let’s go!” Blur said as he ran off. Mach saw that Blur was acting reckless again and tried to stop him. “Blur, stop! Oh, what’s the use?” Mach said to himself before chasing after Blur.

Blur and Mach have arrived to another part of the city which was also destroyed by the invaders. In front of them was a long highway then had been broken thanks to the White Legs and their alien explosives. “So where do you think they are holding the chaos emerald, Mach?” Blur asked. “Your guess is as good as mine.” Mach replied.
Blur and Mach looked up and down the broken highway, hoping to find anything that might be holding the chaos emerald. But while they were searching, the hedgehog duo did not notice a dark figure sneaking up behind them. The figure crept closer and closer behind Mach without him taking notice. As the figure was about to reach its target, it accidentally kicked a rock, which alerted Mach of its presence. Mach looked back and gasped in horror as he stared at the worst person to show up at the moment: the love-struck Kumori.
“Mach!” Kumori shouted as she grabbed Mach into a bone-breaking hug, which was suffocating Mach. “Oh Mach, I was worried I would never see you again.” Kumori said as she released Mach. Mach took a few moments to catch his breath before saying “Kumori, I saw you yesterday.” “It feels like an eternity when you’re in love. Right, Mach?” Kumori said with stars in her eyes. Mach blushed and Blur was laughing his head off at Mach predicament.
The suddenly, the ground started to rumble and many of the stones on the ground moved in different directions. The group heard a noise coming from behind and looked to see a round grey, alien tank with side wings headed their way. Acting on instinct, Blur jumped to the right as Mach grabbed Kumori and jumped to the left to avoid the tank. The group watched as the flying tank passed by with Horror’s Eye following it closed behind.
“That tank must have the chaos emerald.” Mach said. “It looks strong, but it’s nothing we can’t handle right Mach.” Blur said to him. Blur and Mach were about to run when Kumori interrupted. “Mach, where are you going?” Kumori asked. “We have to get the chaos emerald from that tank before those aliens take it.” Mach explained. “Then I’m going too.” Kumori said. “No, you’re not!” Mach proclaimed. “Please.” Kumori said, giving him the puppy eyes. No matter how strong or cold Mach was, he could resist the eyes, and so he gave in.
“Alright, you can help.” Mach said. After receiving he answer, Kumori went from puppy eye to serious. “Alright you two, we have to stop that tank before it gets away! So don’t fall behind, you got it!” Kumori said before chasing after the fleeing tank. Blur and Mach stared for a moment before Blur said “Wow, super mood swings just like me... I think. Aren’t you lucky to have a girlfriend like her?” “What the Heck did you just say!?” Mach shouted as he chased after the laughing Blur.
After a few seconds, Blur and Mach had reached Kumori along the broken road. “What took you? I was afraid I lost you.” Kumori said to them. “Sorry, Mach wanted to ask me where you two should go for your date.” Blur playfully lied to her. At that comment, Kumori's starry eyes had returned faster then you could say “...I dunno”. “Really?” Kumori asked Mach hopefully. “No! Everything that doofus says is a lie!” Mach shouted quickly to her. “Aw, no need to be embarrassed. I know you love me.” Kumori said, causing Mach to blush and slap his head hard, which really hurt.
After running a few good miles, the three hedgehogs had managed to reach the White Legs tank. "Alright, lets do it.” Blur said as he jumped to the air. Mach and Kumori followed his example and all three hedgehogs used a homing attack on the tank. The problem was that the tank had an invisible force field, which bounced the trio to the ground. Three White Legs soldier were walking along the highway, minding their business, when they heard a whistling sound coming from above and the hedgehog heroes fell on top of them, knocking them out.
“I guess these guys are useful after all.” Mach said as he looked down to the knocked out soldiers. “Mach, the tank, it’s getting away!” Kumori said as she pointed to the fleeing vehicle. Thinking fast, Mach grabbed one of the alien soldiers oddly shaped weapons and fired it, the force from it caused him to fall back on to his butt. To their surprise, the shot had passed through the force field and landed a direct hit on the tanks right wing.
Mach looked at the gun and said “These black creatures’ guns can penetrate through the tanks the force field. But the aftershock from the blast is too great for me to handle.” Mach said to them. “But how are you gonna run and use that thing on the tank at the same time?” Blur asked. Mach had no idea how he was going to pull it off until something caught his eye and made him smirk. “Who said anything about running?” Mach said.
Down the highway, a few White Legs soldiers were outside the tank, trying to repair the damage Mach caused to the right wing. Suddenly, a loud revving sound had filled the air and was coming from down the highway. The few soldiers looked down the road to see Mach riding a black motorcycle and aimed his new weapon at the aliens. Mach fired three shots, which landed straight at the alien’s heads, killing them, and alerted the soldiers inside. The alien tank took off in a hurry with Mach following close behind them.
“They don’t really think they can escape me do they?” Mach said to himself as he sped up after the tank. Soon, Mach was riding right next to the tank. Mach pulled out the alien gun and fired three shots at its side. The shots had alerted the aliens inside and one of them popped out of the top to fire on Mach. As the alien fired its gun, Mach acted fast and maneuvered the cycle to avoid the shots. Mach decided to slow down and trail behind the tank.
“This thing has got to have a weak spot somewhere” Mach thought. The White Legs soldier turned to Mach’s direction and continued to fire on the hedgehog, making Mach very frustrated. “I have had enough of you!” Mach shouted as he pulled the trigger on the alien gun. Lucky for the soldier, the shot bounced off his gun. The bad part, the shot landed inside the tank and destroyed the controls for the force field.
Mach saw the force field go down and thought it would be the perfect opportunity to strike. “Now I've got you.” Mach said as he jumped off the bike and into the air. Once in the air, over twenty Purple arrows appeared around him and he shouted “CHAOS SPEAR!” The arrows lunged themselves at the tank and broke through its hard metal body to destroy it and the alien soldiers inside.
Mach was searching through the remains of the fallen tank and all he found were dead bodies, but no chaos emeralds. “I don’t get it. I was sure the emerald would be here.” Shadow said. Just then, a hologram of White Horror appeared before him. “Mach you deliberately disobeyed me.” White Horror stated. “I obey no one, especially someone like you.” Mach said to him as he began to walk away.
“It would seem that Mr Robotnik has done more to your memory then I originally thought.” White Horror said. At hearing the name of his so called creator, Mach halted and looked back to White Horror. “What did you say?” Shadow asked. “It is strange that you do not remember your editor.” White Horror said. “E...e... editor?!” Mach asked, even more confused. “Silence, the ramifications of your disobedience will be severe.” White Horror stated. Then, White Horror waved his hand and they both disappeared in a flash of light.
At the G.U.N. base, a white haired hog with one blue eye and one amber eye, wearing a military uniform, watched the screens as they witnessed the destruction the White Legs were creating. One soldier had arrived and saluted to the person. “Comander, the White aliens have hit six sections of the world, and every section is reporting significant damage and casualties. Among them, Future City has received the heaviest casualties, due to its weakened defense system since the Darkspines Blur attack. Downtown Future City has been almost completely destroyed. Unconfirmed sources have also reported seeing a Black hedgehog in Future City.” The soldier reported.
At the mention of a Black hedgehog, the commander’s interest had peaked. “Mach? Deploy all troops now and if you find Mach with the White aliens, kill him!” He commanded. “But sir, Mach is on our side--” the soldier was cut off by his superior. “I gave you an order, soldier! He’s evil and he’s the enemy!” he said, full of hate. The soldier left the commander to himself. “You can’t fool me, Mach. This time… you’re mine.” The commander said silently.

In a deserted area far away from the city, Mach found himself waking up in the entrance of many ruins. “Where am I?” Mach asked as he rubbed his throbbing head. Mach walked up to the end of a tall hillside to see the entire ruin area. “Whoa… I guess I underestimated his powers. There is a reason White Horror brought me here and I have to find out what.” Mach said as he ran off into the ruins.
As he made his way deeper into the ruins, a White Legs soldier jumped out in front of him and aimed its gun at his forehead. The creature was about to fire when it was tackled to the ground by a white blur. Mach took a closer look to see that it was Rock who was beating the alien soldier to a pulp. Rock got up from his defeated enemy and looked back to his old friend, Mach.
“Hey Mach. I haven't seen you in a while.” Rock said. “Rock, what are you doing here?” questioned Mach. “Well, Angel Island was attack and these white creatures tried to steal the Master Emerald. But I was able to keep it safe. I followed these creatures to these ruins. What are you doing here, Mach?” Rock asked. “I’m not sure.” Mach said to him. “What, how can you not be sure?” Rock asked. Mach was about to reply when they heard gunshots and people shouting. “Sounds like trouble. Come on, Mach” Rock said as he ran off with Mach close behind.
When Mach and Rock arrive at the scene of the battle, the White Legs were fighting the G.U.N. soldier with their new worm-like alien, the White Millipede. “Keep your distance men!” The leader shouted as he shot down another White Warrior. Mach walks up to leader causally and asks “Do you need any help?” Mach asked. The G.U.N. leader looked at Mach and aimed his gun at him, which surprised Mach. “Sorry, but I have orders to destroy you. I really don’t want to do this.” The leader said and readied himself to pull the trigger and kill him.
But he was interrupted when he heard a scream of terror from one of the soldiers. Everyone looked over to find one of the G.U.N. soldiers about to be eaten by the White Millipede. All seemed hopeless for the soldier until a Black blur went past the worm and its head was severed from the rest of its body. The almost-killed soldier looked to his savior to Mach standing next to him. Mach looked over to the G.U.N. leader as he spoke into his portable communicator.
“Attention all units, front line enemies have been defeated. Proceed to the inner section of the ruins and take out all enemy forces.” The leader commanded. The leader stared at Mach, who stared back, and then grabbed his communication once more. “And if you see Mach, assist him I anyway possible. It seems he's not with the White aliens.” The leader added to his previous command. The leader smiled to the Black hedgehog. “Go. We’ll take care of things from here.” The leader told him. Mach nodded his head and said “Thank you. Come on, Rock.” “Right behind you!” Rock shouted as he ran after Mach.
After a long and difficult trudge through rubble, sand and strange tornados, Mach and Rock reached a temple filled with White Warriors and White Millipedes. “This doesn’t look like it’s going to be easy.” Rock said out loud. “When is it ever easy?” Mach returned. “What do you say to a little contest?” Rock offered. “What kind of contest?” Mach asked. “Who ever takes out the most White creatures, wins.” Rock explained. “You’re on.” White accepted.
Rock was the first to strike as he jumped on to the first White Warrior he could reach and landed a solid blow to the face, crushing it. Another White Warrior ran towards Rock and swung its energy sword at him. Rock jumped to avoid the sword, only to be hit by a laser blast in the shoulder. Rock fell to the ground and saw a large group of White warriors surrounding him. “Don’t think I’m out just yet!” Rock shouted as he put on his drills and dug a hole underneath them.
The White Warriors wasted no time in firing down the hole Rock went. They halted their attack and waited to see if they had killed him or not. But while they were waiting, the ground started to crack and form a circle around the small group. Rock then chose to appear above ground and the White warrior aimed their guns at him. Rock smirked for a moment before plowing the ground with his fist. The cracked circle had become complete with Rock attack and the ground below the aliens gave way and the fell through.
“Well they didn’t last long.” Rock said as he looked down the hole he had made. “How are you doing Mach?” Rock asked his competition. Rock looked over to Mach’s side to find the White Warriors and Miliipedes were beaten, fried, skewered, chopped and just plain dead. He saw Mach leaning over one of the temple statues and asked “How did you do all this?” Mach pulled out the green chaos emerald and Rock said “Hey, that’s cheating.” “You never said anything about not using chaos emeralds.” Mach told Rock, who said nothing after he realized he had been out smarted.
Mach walked up to a strange green stone with other stone rings surrounding it. “I’m going to go look for a way out of this place. What about you Mach?” Rock asked. “I think I’ll stay here for a moment.” Mach said. Rock just shrugged and started to walk away. Mach continued to stare at the strange stone, entranced by it. “I see you find this stone interesting, Mach.” Mach looked back to see Horror’s Eye floating a few feet from him.
“What is so special about this stupid stone?” Mach asked. “This particular stone is part of a pair that can awaken our flying fortress from its sleep.” White Horror explained. “Sleep?” said the confused hedgehog. “Have you not noticed? This temple is alive and I need you to activate the stones to awaken it.” WHite Horror explained. Mach began to walk away and said “I told you, I take orders from no one. Plus you said I only had to find the emeralds.”
“Do you not want to find out the truth of your family? I though you would be more interested in the reason you were kidnapped. I will leave you to decide.” White Horror said before his eye floated away. During White Horror’s speech, Mach had stop to think for a moment. He wanted to find out the reason he was kidnapped, but was it worth losing his friends over. Mach looked back at the stone once more, coming to a decision.
A few minutes later, Mach was walking alongside Rock, who had managed to find an exit that lead to the upper shrine. Rock looked at the shrine and said “This reminds me of the Master Emerald shrine back on Angel Island.” Mach made no reply. As the duo walked closer to the shrine, they were attacked by five more White Miliipedes. “These guys don’t give up do they?” Rock said out loud.
The White Millipedes then burrowed their way underground, leaving Rock worried. “Where did they go?” Rock asked. Mach then felt a small tremor below his feet and pushed Rock and himself out of the way before the millipedes struck. Rock fell on his face, while Mach landed perfectly on his feet and was getting angry. “I have had enough of you White freaks thrying to HURT MY FRIENDS!” Mach shouted. Rock saw his body beginning to glow green quickly ran to find himself a place to hide. The Millipede moved in closer as Mach shouted “CHAOS BLAST!!!”
The Green glow from Mach’s body released itself and created a huge explosion, which destroyed all the White Millipedes. After the attack was finished, Mach had collapsed to his knees and Rock tried to help him up. “Wow that was some attack. When did you learn to do that?” Rock asked him. “Right here…just now.” Mach replied breathlessly. Rock pulled Mach up the shrine and laid him next to a stone similar to the one in the lower level.
After Mach took a few moments to regain his strength, he weakly managed to get back on his feet. Mach then found a yellow chaos emerald land in his hand and looked up to see it was Rock who threw it to him. “I found it a little while back, I think you deserve it after the way you helped everyone today.” Rock said to him. Mach turned himself away from Rock and said “That’s right. I did help everyone. Even White Horror.” Mach said out loud. “WHAT?!” Rock shouted in surprise.
Mach used his super speed to elbow Rock in the gut hard to knock him out. “Sorry Rock, but I don’t want you to get hurt.” Mach said as he grabbed Rock and ran to one of the near by mountains. Mach laid Rock on the ground and ran back to the temple. Once there, Mach placed his hand on the green stone and activated it. Just as White Horror said, the temple came to life and started to move itself off the ground.
“I guess White Horror was telling the truth after all. This place really is alive” Mach said. Just then White Horror had appeared out of nowhere and this time he was the real thing. “So we finally meet Mach.” WHite Horror said. “So what do you want me to do now?” Mach said, struggling with the last part. “You need to find the last four more emeralds to complete our plans.” WHite Horror told him. “Do you know where they are?” Mach asked. “I know three places where the fourth emerald might be. Don’t fail me.” WHite Horror threatened as he used dark control to transport Mach to a new location.

In a flash of light Mach apeears in the air and falls to the ground on his feet. he takes the time to look at his new surroundings. It was a destroyed military base with toxic waste spread out all over the place. Mach looked around once more and soon remembered where he was. “This is Prison Island, the place I escaped. But how is it still standing?” Mach questioned. Mach then looked to the yellow chaos emerald he had obtained and saw that it did not glow. “That means the chaos emerald is not here. This is a waste of my time.” Mach said.
Mach was about to use chaos control to leave the island until a faint buzzing sound had reached his ears. Mach looked over to see a small bee headed his way. The bee looked to be eight years old and wore a Green pilot’s helmet with Purple trims with Red and Blue flight goggles, white gloves with Grey cuffs, an orange vest with a bee patch on it and orange sneakers. The bee could not see where he was going because he was staring at three shiny disks in his hands and ran into Mach.
Mach and the bee tumbled down the hill until they reached the bottom and landed with a small thud. After landing, Mach got back on to his feet and wiped off all the dirt that had got onto his fur. Mach looked over to find the bee was stuck half-way inside an empty barrel, upside down. Being the merciful hedgehog he was, Mach grabbed the bee by his legs and pulled him out of the barrel, which was surprisingly so hard that it took three whole minutes to do so.
“Hey thanks for the…” the bee trailed off when he saw Mach in front of him. Then the bee let out a loud scream in Mach’s ear, which caused him to jump up in surprise and fall on his back. Mach looked up from his position to find that the bee was sitting on his stomach. “Oh my gosh, your Mach the hedgehog.” The young bee said with excitement. “Yeah.” Mach said. “Cool, I’m Glee, of Team Chaotix Jr, and I am your biggest fan. Can I have your autograph” Glee asked as he pulled a pen and paper out of nowhere.
“Uh, no. listen I don’t have time for you. I have a very important assignment to complete.” Mach said as he push Glee off him and started to walk away. Glee flew in front to stop him and said “That’s so cool. Hey do you think you can help me. Vec told me to find five top secret disks. I already found three. Can you help me find the rest?” Glee asked. “No.” Mach coldly replied as he continued to walk away. “You aren’t going to leave me here alone are you?” Glee called out.
Mach stopped in his tracks after that comment. Many people would think that Mach was a cold and heartless monster, but he wasn’t. He knew that the strange kid had gotten lucky so far, but who knows how long that luck would last. Mach looked back to Glee and said “Alright I’ll help.” “YAY!” Glee shouted as he flew off into a random direction. “What have I gotten myself into?” Mach asked himself.
As Mach and his new companion, Glee, walked further into the base, they noticed the White Warriors were being held inside steel enforced cages. “Whoa, what are these things?” Glee asked as he flew near one of the White Warrior cages. When Glee was close enough, A White Warrior reached its arm out to grab the hyperactive bee. Glee panicked for a moment until Mach grabbed his stinger and pulled him away from the White Warrior.
Mach stared angrily at Glee as he held the poor bee upside-down by his stinger. “Look kid, if you want my help then stay out of trouble.” Mach said venomously. Glee flew right side-up as Mach let go of his stinger and he buzzed around with excitement. “Whatever you say, Mach. You’re so cool.” Glee said. Shadow walked on, trying his best to not kill the annoying bee until he felt his foot hit something on the ground.
Mach looked down and picked up a small disc that had the words “Secret Files” on it. “Hey, is this it?” Mach asked Glee. The small bee looked to Mach and quickly grabbed the disk out of his hand once he saw it. “Wow, you found it. I knew you could do it, Mach. You’re the greatest person ever that ever lived.” Glee said in his annoying voice. Mach’s eye was twitching as Glee continued to buzz around, praising Mach for his small accomplishment.
Mach slowly tried to sneak away from the crazy, overexcited bee, but he was caught in a minute. “Hey Mach, where are you going?” Glee asked. Mach quickly tried to come up with an excuse and all he could come up with was “Oh, I’m just going to find that last disk.” “Great, let’s go!” Glee shouted as he flew off with Mach slowly walking behind. Not knowing that they were being followed.
Mach and Glee had reached a dead end as they found a slope of toxic waste. “Look’s like it’s the end of the line.” Mach said. Then, a strange sound came from behind and the duo looked back to see four WHite Warriors on miniature flying saucers. One of the White Warrior fired its gun at the two and they jumped out of the way to avoid it. When Mach landed, he was trapped between two White Warrior aliens.
With Mach in their sights, the two White aliens fired their guns directly at him. Unfortunately for them, Mach used his spin dash to move out of the way and the blasts hit and killed each other. See that the flying saucers were unoccupied, Mach grabbed Glee by his stinger and jumped on to the saucer. “Hang on, kid!” Mach shouted as he steered the saucer down the toxic slope.
Glee was so extremely excited about riding the saucer that it was become very difficult for Mach to hold on to him. Mach looked back for a moment and found the two remaining warriors were chasing them down the slope. “They don’t give up do they?” Mach said out loud. “Uh, Mach what is that?” Glee asked as he pointed forward. Mach looked to the direction Glee was pointing and saw a heavily armored G.U.N. hunter aiming its weapon at them.
“Primary targets in sight. Locking on to targets.” The hunter said. The hunter aims its weapon at the duo and heard it say “Targets locked on. Firing sequence initiated." the hunter said. The G.U.N. hunter let out two shots and Mach tried to cover Glee before the shots had hit them. But the shots never came. Instead they went past Mach and Glee and went through the remaining WHite Warriors heads, killing them.
Mach and Glee rode the final few feet of the toxic slope until they landed on solid ground and jump off the miniature saucer. Mach then noticed a G.U.N. soldier standing near the hunter and saluted the two. “Greetings Mach. The leader said you might be here.” The soldier said. “What are you doing here?” Mach asked. “The leader gave a command to assist you in anyway possible. I saw you on the islands security camera and thought you might want this.” The soldier replied as he showed them the last disk they have been searching for.
Glee grabbed it out of the mans hand and shouted “Alright, we did it!” “Are their any chaos emeralds on this island?” Mach questioned the soldier. “I’m sorry, Mach. But there aren’t any chaos emeralds here.” The soldier said to him. “Then I just wasted my time.” Mach said as he pulled out the blue chaos emerald. “Wait!” Glee shouted. “Later kid. CHAOS CONTROL!” Mach shouted before disappearing in a flash of light. “What about my autograph?!” Glee shouted.

In a flash of Blue light, Mach fall form the sky and touched down to the ground to look at the new area White Horror had sent him to. It looked to be some kind of theme park with a mass of lights and an ugly face sign that could only belong to one person, Eggman. “You have got to be kidding me. The fourth Chaos emerald is inside this place? This is just wrong.” Mach said out loud. It was at that time that White Horror’s Eye floated down from out of nowhere and floated right next to Mach.
“Are you sure that the Chaos emerald is inside here?” Mach asked the alien eye. “Yes, I can feel the presence of a Chaos emerald in this place. Find it and retrieve it, by any means necessary.” White Horror said before his eye flew away into the sky. Mach looked forward at the theme park entrance and you could clearly see he was majorly annoyed. “I just got away from that annoying insect and now I have to go in here. This is definatly turning out to be the worst day ever.” Mach, for the first time in his life, complained.
Mach walked up to the entrance to see two of Eggmans small egg pawns robots guarding it. “Pathetic.” Mach said. When the egg pawns saw him walking into the park they charged at him with their medieval lances. Mach made no effort to avoid them but instead, he grabbed the end of the lances and flipped the pawns off into the distance. “This is just too easy, guess it’s my lucky day.” Mach said.
As Mach walked into the park, he noticed a flying TV screen headed his way. When the flying TV had reached Mach, the screen turned on and showed the face of a familiar evil scientist. It was Ivo Robotnik a.k.a Dr. Eggman. “Mach, what are you doing here?” the doctor questioned. “I have come for the Chaos emerald. I know you have it, so hand it over!” Mach ordered. “The Chaos emerald, huh? How about we work out a deal.” Eggman offered. “A deal?” “If you can get rid of the G.U.N. soldiers in my theme park, I will repay you with the Chaos emerald.” Eggman said. “Deal.” Mach accepted as he ran off into the theme park.
When Mach had reached to a further part of Eggman's Park, he had found six gun soldiers, twelve beetle robots and one heavy armored hunter. One of the soldiers had spotted him and shouted to the rest of them “Hey look, it’s Mach!” The other soldiers spotted him as well and gave a proud salute to him. “Greetings Mach. What are you doing here?” the group leader asked. “Just getting rid of some worthless trash.” Mach said to them. “Any way we can help?” the leader asked. “Yes. You can die.” Mach said calmly.
The soldiers looked shocked as Mach pounced on them. Mach first grabbed the leader by his throat and dragged him on the ground until he threw the man against the one of the park signs, breaking his spine and killing him upon impact. The other five soldiers looked in terror as Mach began to walk closer to them. “Someone call for back up and activate the robots, NOW!” a soldier ordered. “Yes sir.” Another soldier said as he ran away.
On command, the beetle robots and the hunter had become active. The beetles aimed their small guns at Mach and opened fire on him. Mach used his super speed to avoid the bullets with ease and jumped forward to one of the beetles. Mach landed on top of one of the beetle robots and forcefully turned its direction at the others. While Mach was changing its direction, the beetle robot continued to fire its gun and shot down the other robots. When all the other beetles were all gone, Mach had delivered a striking blow to the robots core and jumped off before it exploded.
When Mach had touched the ground, he was facing a heavy armored hunter with a large cannon aimed at him. “Crap.” Mach said as the hunter launched a missile at Mach. Thinking quickly, Mach jumped on top of the missile and started riding it through the air. Mach was steering the missile all around the sky like a surf board on a wave and changed the direction of the missile towards the hunter that fired it. As they came closer to colliding, Mach jumped off the missile before it hit its target and destroyed it.
Mach stood there for a moment before facing the last remaining G.U.N. soldiers. “Do whatever you can to kill that hedgehog.” One of the soldiers said. The four soldiers lifted their guns and started shooting at the once great hero of the world. Mach made effort to move as he waved his hand into the air and several yellow arrows formed around him. “CHAOS SPEAR!” Mach shouted. The arrows shot past Mach and burned the bullets that were aimed at him before killing the remaining G.U.N. soldiers.
“That was too easy.” Mach said. Mach was about to walk away to recover the Chaos emerald that Eggman had promised him but then felt a pain in his knee. Mach fell to the ground holding his knee before he moved his hands to find out the cause of the pain. In the side of his leg was a small gun bullet. Mach pulled the bullet out of his knee and looked up to find a mass of G.U.N. soldiers and robots surrounding him.
“Alright hedgehog. Come along quietly and we promise not to hurt you.” one of the soldiers said. “That hurt.” Mach said, not hearing the soldier’s words. “Are you going to comply or do we have to force you?” the soldier asked. “That hurt. That was a mistake. The last mistake you will ever MAKE!!!” Mach shouted in anger. “YOU FILTHY HUMANS. I’LL KILL YOU ALL!!!” Mach continued in rage.
Mach’s body was being enveloped in a green glow like before at Glyphic Canyon, which was scaring the soldiers. “Don’t just stand there! Shoot him!” the soldier shouted. Soon all the G.U.N. soldiers and robots were shooting at the glowing hedgehog but had no effect as the bullets were bouncing off his body . After gathering enough energy Mach shouted “CHAOS BLAST!!!” The green glow released itself and destroyed all the soldiers and robots in an instant.
After all was done, Mach fall to the ground, face forward, with absolutely no strength to move. “That…attack. Better…not…use it…again.” Mach weakly said, trying to catch his breath. Just then, Eggman’s TV decided to show up. “Amazing Mach. I had no idea you could do that.” Eggman said. “Me…neither.” Mach replied. “And as promised, here is a Chaos emerald. Good-bye for now.” Eggman said before his TV shut off and dropped down the white Chaos emerald.
Gather all the remaining strength he had, Mach reached out and grabbed the Chaos emerald to inspect it. Just then, Horror’s Eye suddenly appeared bofe Mach. “Good work, Mach. Now all that remains are three Chaos emeralds.” White Horror said. “Wrong.” Mach said to him. Horror’s Eye looked confused until Mach crushed the Chaos emerald to dust in his hands. “That emerald is a fake.” White Horror said, clearly mad. “The doctor is much smarter then I thought.” Mach said out loud.
“We must make him pay for this trickery. Mach there is still one last place left to look, that scientist castle.” White Horror said. “I would, but I can’t move.” Mach said to him. “Very well. I shall return you to the fortress and allow you to rest. We need in one piece if we are to complete our plans.” White Horror said. The alien eye latched itself on to the tired hedgehogs back and they both disappeared in a flash of light.

One day has passed since the destruction of G.U.N. back at Eggman’s theme park. Mach had just arrived at an ancient castle that White Horror said belong to Eggman. “Hmm… knowing the doctor, he would keep the chaos emerald with him at all times. Good, now I can make him pay for deceiving me.” Mach said as he ran off into the castle.
When Mach had reached the entrance of the castle he was, once again, attacked by two egg pawns. “It looks like the doctor is running out of tricks.” Mach said. Mach jumped high above the egg pawns and used a homing attack to go directly through them at once. Mach looked back at the destroyed pawns for a moment, not realizing that another one was right behind him. The pawn was about to strike when a pink blur whizzed by a sliced it in two.
Mach had heard the sound of metal being ripped apart coming from behind him and looked back to see what caused it. Once he looked back, Mach was staring at his old and mysteriously friend, Blair. “Hey Mach what are you doing here?” Blair asked. “I came to find Eggman and take back the chaos emerald he took from me.” Mach told him, leaving out the part about him working for WHite Horror.
Mach continued to walk through the castle and found that Blair was following him. “By the way, what are you doing here, Blair?” Mach asked. “I was helping Alexis get back home until a chao flew off and Cream followed it in here. I can’t find them anywhere.” Blair explained. Mach stopped in his tracks after that. Alexis, the girl he met on Mars, was lost somewhere in this castle and Eggman was here as well. Mach could only imagine what the doctor would do if he found her.
Mach turned back at Blair and said “I will help you.” “Really?” Blair asked in surprise. “We can't let Eggman find her. She is more vulnerable then anyone else. We can’t let anything happen to her.” Mach said with determination. Blair walked up to him and mockingly said “So you do have a heart, huh Mach.” “Don’t think anything of it. I am only doing this for Alexis, no one else.” Mach said. “Whatever you say. Come on.” Blair said as she ran farther into the castle with Mach not far behind.
After a short run through the castle, Mach and Blair were once again outside, staring at a gigantic lantern. “Whoa, it’s huge” Blair emphasized. “It is most likely a defense system set up by Eggman, to keep out all intruders.” Mach said to his companion. “So how does it work?” Blair questioned. Mach seemed stumped as he looked all over the lantern for any signs that might help them get past. Mach looked down to find two small pedestals with a candle in each of them.
“I think I might know how to get past this thing.” Mach said. “How?” Blair questioned. “If we can light these pedestals, then we might be able to advance further into the castle. But the question is, how are we going to light it.” Mach said. Blair and Mach looked around the area, hoping to find something to light the pedestal. Soon, Blair stopped searching and became very interested in Mach’s hover skates. Mach saw this and asked “What?”
Blair quickly grabbed Mach’s foot and lifted it up to the pedestal, causing Mach to fall on his back. “What do you think are you doing?!” Mach yelled out. Blair then somehow activated the hover skates and lit the candles on the pedestals with them. Blair released Mach’s foot and allowed him to stand up on his own two feet again. Once he was up again, Mach gave Blair a hard punch over the head. “Do that again and I won’t be so merciful.” Mach said to the aching Blair.
With the pedestals now lit, a few skull shaped balloons appeared out of nowhere and formed a path to an upper level. “How do you think Egg-butt manages to get up there?” Blair asked jokingly “Are you just going to stand around all day, making terrible jokes, or are we going to save Alexis?” Mach said to him as he followed the balloon path. “Geez, he has no sense of humor.” Blair said as she followed Mach up the newly formed path.
Once Mach and Blair made their way past the balloons, the found themselves in a small room. Mach and Blair were about to leave through the door on the other side of the room until a faint sound had caught his ear. Mach closed his eyes to try and concentrate on the strange sound until he heard a faint ‘Chao’. “Hey Mach, what’s taking ya.” Blair asked, breaking Mach out of his concentrated state.
Mach walked to a nearby wall and placed his ear on to the side of it. “What are you doing?” Blair asked, thinking he had gone crazy. Mach shushed him as he walked along the wall and continued to listen into it. He nearly listened into all the walls in the room until he heard the ‘Chao’ sound again, even stronger. Mach stepped away from the wall before pulling back his fist and slamming it straight through the wall.
The wall had crumbled from Mach’s attack and gave way to a secret space that had contained Alexis and a group of chao. Alexis looked up scared for a moment before seeing that her rescuer was Mach. “Mach!” Alexis yelled in happiness. “So this is where you’ve been Alexis. How did you get in here?” Mach asked as he stood next to Alexis. “Well, I was chasing a Chao when that mean Eggman caught us and threw us in here with other chao he found.” Alexis explained. “If you want to stay out of trouble, then stay away from places like this.” Mach told the young hedgehog. “Ok.” Alexis said.
After a long trek through the castle, braving perilous traps and Eggman’s midget robots, the group had reached outside of the other side of the castle. When they first arrived, Mach quickly noticed the white chaos emerald floating in the air, this time he knew it was real. “The chaos emerald now belongs to me.” Mach said as he walked closer to the emerald. But as he had gotten closer, a giant red and blue robot with a mace on its hand jumped from out of nowhere. Sitting in the head of the robot was none other then Doctor Eggman.
“What are you doing here, Mach?” Eggman questioned. “Doctor, I need that chaos emerald. That emerald may hold the secrets to my--“ Mach was cut off by Eggman. “Enough of this nonsense. All the chaos emeralds belong to me and me alone. And if you still disagree with me, then I will crush you like I will those White creatures.” Eggman said as he swung the robots mace arm threateningly. “Alexis, hide.” Blair said. Alexis followed her instructions and moved out of the way for Mach and Blair to fight the evil scientist.
Eggman started things off by sending his mace hand plummeting towards the two, but they manage to avoid the attack with their speed. Blair jumped at the egg breakers leg and gave it a powerful kick, but was only able to shake it a little. Eggman swung the robots mace around and struck Blair with a powerful blow. Seeing his chance, Mach jumped to the air and used a homing attack aimed at Eggman himself. Unfortunately the other hand came up and swatted him away.
Mach landed next to Blair, who was slowly lifting herself up off the ground. “Ha-ha-ha, did you two stood any chance against the great Doctor Eggman, the greatest mind in the world, the---“ The duo pretty much drowned out Eggman’s boasting after that. “I hate to say it, but the doctor has us pinned.” Mach said. Blair then notice that a yellow chaos emerald was on the ground next to Mach’s foot and quickly came up with a plan.
“Hey Mach, what about super dark control?” Blair said. Mach also looked down at the chaos emerald he had dropped and smiled to Blair, approving her plan. The two looked back to Eggman, who was still rambling on, and saw the perfect opportunity to strike. Mach grabbed the chaos emerald off the ground and Shouted “CHAOS CONTROL!” with that Mach had disappeared.
Eggman had finish his very long speech (Finally) and noticed that Mach was no longer with Blair. “Hey, where did Mach go?” the doctor questioned. His question was soon answered when he heard a whistle sound from behind him. Eggman looked back to see Mach standing next to Alexis, holding a large wrench. Eggman was confused at why Mach would have a wrench with him until the entire egg breaker fell to pieces and Eggman along with it.
Eggman was now covered by the remains of his previous creation and was knocked out cold. Mach also took the opportunity to take the white emerald away from the doctor’s possession. “I now have four emeralds. That leaves only three more.” Mach said silently as he stared at the shimmering emerald. Blair was standing next to Alexis and was thanking Mach for his assistance. “Thanks Mach. If it wasn’t for you I would probably be dead.” Blair said. “Most likely.” Mach said coldly before walking away.

After the battle against Eggman, Mach was trying to leave the castle, but there was one problem. He had lost his way. “How am I supposed to get out of here if I don’t know where ‘here’ is?” Mach asked himself. Mach had been traveling the strange castle, with absolutely no idea where he was headed, and usually ran into a dead end. But while he was walking down another hallway, an unknown sound had reached his ears. Mach focused on the new sound to find that it sounded like computer keys being pressed.
Mach followed the sound down the hallway until he reached a metal door and opened it. The room he had entered was completely different then the rest of the castle. Instead of stone, the walls were made of metal and a large computer core was at the center of the room. Mach saw a new character at the control console of the computer and decided to investigate who it was.
Mach silently walked up to the stranger but was then caught by surprise as the stranger turned around and held a large shuriken to his neck. The stranger was a Red chameleon with a Blue horn between his eyes, three White spikes on his back and a long coiled tail. The stranger was wearing white gloves with White cuffs with white bandages and small grey compartments, violet shoes with White straps and cuffs with bandages above them. Judging by the large shuriken and the accurate hearing, Mach could tell that this guy was a ninja.
“Who are you? Are you an assassin?” questioned the chameleon. “No, my name is Mach the hedgehog.” Mach explained. Once he had heard Mach’s name, the chameleon lower his shuriken and placed it into one of the compartments on his wrist. “So you’re Mach, huh? I am Esper of Team Chaotix Jr. Glee talks about you a lot.” Esper said. “You know the little pest?” Mach asked. “Unfortunately.” Esper replied before turning back to the computer console.
“So what are you doing in a place like this?” Mach asked. “I am trying to hack into Eggman’s computer main frame to figue out Eggman's plans. But I’m not very good at it.” Esper said. Mach walked up to the console and pushed Esper out of the way. “Well, this is an amazing coincidence. I am also interested in the good doctor’s plans.” Mach said. Mach raised his hand up and brought it down hard onto the computer.
After Mach struck the console, the core in the center glowed and opened up a portal to a digital dimension. “This should take us straight to the doctor’s computer main frame. It is their, we will find what we need.” Mach said. “We?” Esper asked. “Do you want my help or not?” Mach returned the question. “Very well, let’s go.” Esper said. Mach and Esper jumped into the portal and began their search.
When Mach and Esper first arrived in the digital dimension, they both landed on a strip of light that forced them into ball form. “What’s going on?” Mach asked. “I don’t know.” Esper replied. They two hackers used their ball forms to travel along the light-way until they reached the end and were facing a small computer terminal. “This must be the terminal to Eggman’s files.” Esper said as he accessed the terminal.
When Esper had gained access to the files, he learned that all the files were incomplete. “Eggman is much more clever then I thought. He apparently fragmented the data and sent it to three more terminals.” Esper explained. “Any idea where they are?” Mach asked. “They should be in the towers in the upper levels. Let me get the data from here and we’ll go.” Esper said. Esper pulled out a small disk from behind his back and placed it in the terminal to download the information. Once the download was complete, Esper took the disk and followed Mach to the upper levels.
When Mach and Esper reached the upper level, the looked out to see a maze of light-ways leading to red, green, yellow towers. “I’m guessing those are the towers.” Mach said. “Yes, it would seem that we have a need to split up.” Esper said. Esper threw Mach a blank disk and he caught it and looked at Esper. “Once you reach the terminal, download the information on to this disk so we will have it for later.” Esper said. “Got it” Mach said as they both used the light-ways to head off into different directions.
Esper had arrived to the green tower and was face with five colored pads on the ground in front of him. “Hmm...what could these be for?” Esper thought as he looked from the colored pads to the electric gate guarding the entrance. Esper got down on his knees and touched the colored pad, causing it to change colors. “I get it, if I want to get past the defenses, then I must match the color together.” Esper said. After a few minutes of figuring out the color patterns, Esper managed to match the colors and opened the electrical gate.
Once inside, Esper found three float color pad similar to the ones outside and quickly knew what had to be done. As Esper was about to reach out to the pads, three egg pawns appeared out of nowhere and aimed their lasers at Esper. “Wasn’t expecting that.” Esper said. The egg pawns launch their assault on Esper as he pulled out a large shuriken to block the lasers. Esper knew that his shuriken would not provide as a good shield, so he put the shuriken away and formed a hand sign before disappearing into thin air.
The egg pawns looked all over the area hoping to find him, only to be sliced in half by the air. When the egg pawns were destroyed, Esper appeared once more and rearranged the color pads to match each other. When Esper was done, the gravity in the room had suddenly disappeared and Esper floated upwards into a higher level of the tower. When Esper touched down to a higher level, the gravity turned back on as he walked over to a terminal he had just found. Esper placed and empty disk inside the terminal and downloaded the information. Two down, two to go.
When Mach arrived at the yellow tower, he too found a color pad security system, but figured it out much faster then Esper. When Mach had reached the inside of the tower, he found the computer terminal only a few feet away from him. “This seems too easy.” Mach thought. Mach walked over to the terminal until he was unexpectedly attacked by a White Millipede. “So, the doctor decided to take these creature for research. This makes things a lot more interesting.” Mach said.
The White Millipede lunged at Mach, but he had managed to avoid the attack with enough time. The White Millipede burrowed underground so that Mach couldn’t follow it. “Where did it go?” Mach asked. He question was soon answered when the White Millipede struck Mach from under his feet. See his chance, Mach shouted “CHAOS SPEAR!” and his signature attack killed the alien worm in an instant. With his opponent dead, Mach walked over and placed the empty disk he received inside the terminal. Three down, one to go.
After obtaining the information from the yellow and green towers, Mach and Esper met up in front of the red tower. “Greetings, Mach. I expect your mission went successful.” Esper said. Mach smirked as he held up the small disk before throwing it to Esper. “Of course.” Mach said. “That leaves only one more terminal and it should be inside this tower.” Esper said as he looked towards the tower. “Well then, what are we waiting for?” Mach said as he ran off with Esper close behind.
Mach and Esper made it in the tower with no problem until they ran into a group of egg paws and White Millipede. “I’ll take the White aliens, you get the robots.” Mach instructed. “Right.” Esper said as he pulled out a large shuriken and jumped at the mini robots. The egg pawns raised their lasers at Esper and fired them on the ninja chameleon. Esper used his shuriken as a shield before throwing it at the egg pawns and sliced through three of the robots. Esper caught the shuriken when it came back and found himself surrounded by the robots when he touched the ground.
“That isn’t good.” Esper said. The egg pawn raised their lasers at the chameleon once more. Thinking fast, Esper jumped out of the way of the lasers and allowed them to destroy each other. “Not very smart are they?” Esper said. Mach was now faced with three giant White Millipede that would make any man run in fear. But not Mach. Mach decided to not hold back on these guys as he pulled out his newly acquired, white chaos emerald. “Die, you alien freaks! CHAOS CONTROL!” Mach shouted before disappearing. After a few seconds of waiting, a White tornado surrounded them and then Mach appeared once again.
Time seemed to have stopped for a moment as everyone was waiting for something to happen. Then, cut marks appeared all over the White Millipede and then they fell to pieces, literally. While Mach was busy fighting the aliens, Esper decided to reach the last terminal and download all the information off of it. “That’s the last bit of data.” Esper said as he held up to complete disk. “I couldn’t have done it with out you. Thank you, Mach.” Esper said as he bowed his head in respect.
“Come on, lets get out of here.” Mach said. Mach grabbed Esper by his arm and raised his chaos emerald into the air. “CHAOS CONTROL” Mach shouted. And in a flash of white light, Mach and Esper were gone.

It has been a single day since Eggman suffered the humiliation defeat he recieved from Mach and it only got worse after that. Soon after Eggman had recovered from the battle, he found that his computer database had been hacked by an unknown intruder. Now, Eggman was standing in the computer room with his robots, watching as the White Arms were facing off against the G.U.N. soldiers in Future City through his computer monitors.
“Those idiots! They're destroying everything! How can I take over the city and build the Eggman Empire, if there IS no city?!” Eggman said in unimaginable rage. He slammed his fist onto the console as he continued to watch the White legs destroy the world he was trying to conquer. "I'm at my limit! I have no choice! Send in the Eggman Fleet. CHARGE!” Eggman commanded. The egg pawns quickly left the room to prepare for a war against the alien invaders.
The ruins that once stood in Glyphic Canyon were now floating in the sky to serve as the White Arms fortress. White Horror stood beside Mach atop the main fortress, amazed by the fact that the ruins were actually flying. “No one would ever think this place could fly.” Mach commented. “I transported this magnificent to this planet over 2000 years ago. It is the ultimate killing machine. Ready to impose terror in unimaginable ways.” White Horror said to his greatest warrior.
White Horror looked out to the distance to find that they would soon be attacked by a fleet of red flying battleships. “Do those fools really believe they can stop me?” White Horror said. Mach also to notice to the flying fleet and almost instantly recognized them. “Isn’t that...the doctor?” Mach asked. “Mach...do not fail me.” White Horror said before disappearing through the floor. “Right.” Mach said before running of to face the Eggman Fleet.
Using a speed charge he discovered, Mach jumped to another part of the flying fortress and was greeted by Horror’s Eye. “Mach, we must rid ourselves of that idiot scientist. Use our cannons to eliminate his fleet.” said White Horror. Mach looked past Horror’s Eye to find the strange alien cannon that White Horror was talking about. Mach took his place in the cannon and aimed it towards the first battle ship in his sight. See how the turrets were the greatest threat; Mach destroyed them before destroying the rest of the ship.
“Well done, Mach. Now destroy the others and rid ourselves of this insolence.” White Horror ordered. “It is done.” Mach said. Mach found another speed charge that allowed him to jump to another area of the fortress. When he landed, Mach found himself in front of the temple that held the main power core to the fortress. Just then, Eggman’s flying television floated from one of the nearby ship to him.
“Ah, Mach, fancy running into you here.” Eggman said. “Dr. Eggman.” Mach said. “Mach I need your help. I have detected the power source of the White alien fortress inside this temple. I need you to destroy it for me.” Eggman said to him. “He will do no such thing.” White Horror said as his eye floated in front of Eggman’s TV. “So, you must be the one manipulating Mach to do your dirty work.” Eggman said. “Manipulating?” Mach said confused.
“Mach, you must not do as he says. If you do, the entire world will be destroyed.” Eggman said. “What?!” Mach shouted in surprise. “Do not listen to him. We only seek to bring order to this world.” White Horror said to him. Mach looked to the alien and felt confident that he was telling him the truth. “If you do what he says, you’ll be breaking your promise to Kumori.” Eggman said. Mach looked shocked at Eggman as his mind thought back to the promise he made to Kumori. “Mach, Give them a chance to be happy."
Mach snapped out of his memory when he heard White Horror calling out his name. “Mach, you must choose who you will ally. Join me and I will tell you everything you wish to know about your family.” White Horror bribed. “But if you do, you will break your promise.” Eggman said. “Choose, Mach.” White Horror said. “Choose, Mach.” Eggman continued. The two kept on pressuring Mach until it was too much for him to take. Mach pulled out his chaos emerald, lifted it in the air, shouting “CHAOS CONTROL” and vanished.
“No matter. With or without Mach, the White Legs will eliminate your forces.” White Horror said. “I don’t think so. You see, I have done a little tinkering recently.” Eggman said. Just, White robots jumped from the flying battle ships and onto the many parts of the White Legs fortress. White Horror noticed that the White robots were exact robotic copies of his soldiers. “So, you created artificial copies of my warriors.” White Horror said. “What better way to defeat an enemy then with his own self.” Eggman said laughing maniacally. “Let us see which of our soldiers is superior.” White Horror said as his eye floated into the temple.
The robot aliens walked into the temple and were greeted by their original selves. “This will be over in a snap. Men, CHARGE!” Eggman commanded. Soon a battle between real and robot alien had begun. The White Warriors decided to be the first to strike and fired their guns at their robotic copies. The problem was that the laser fire bounced off the robots armor. “What?!” White Horror shouted in surprise. “Ha, you didn’t think my robots would be destroyed that easily.” Eggman said with a grin.
The robot warrior extracted their metal claws and charged at the originals. The White Warriors were helpless against their robotic doppelgangers and were sliced unmercifully cut to pieces. With the White Legs no longer able to stop them, the robot aliens walked up to the green stone core and loaded their guns to fire. But as they were about to fire, a gigantic White hand popped out of the ground and grabbed the nearest robot and crushed it.
“What?!” Eggman yelled in surprise. “Behold the greatest of the White Legs, the White Oak.” White Horror introduced. After White Horror introduced it, a gigantic White Warrior appeared from the ground. Unlike the real White Warriors, the White Oak were larger and more muscular. “Don’t just stand there. FIRE!” Eggman commanded. The robot aliens open fired at the giant, but their guns had no effect on it. The White raised it fists and brought them down hard to crush its opponent and continued to do so until there were none left.
“As you can see, doctor, the White Legs are unstoppable” White Horror said. Eggman had realized that no matter how many robots he would send, they would not stand a chance against the White Legs.

In a flash of light, Mach fell from the air to the ground, on his back. “Ugh. Where am I now?” Mach asked himself, while tending to his aching back. After taking a few moments to let the pain side, Mach got up onto his feet and scanned his surroundings. The chaos control that Mach used seems to have landed him into a dense jungle that surprisingly had many ruins in the trees. “Wonder how I got here. No matter. I just need a way out of here.” Mach said.
Mach was ready to run off until something or someone fell from the sky and landed on him. “Can’t say I saw that coming.” Mach said. Mach pushed the person off of him and got back on his feet again. Mach looked back to find that the person was his old ally, Jasmine. Jasmine was rubbing her sore head when she looked up to Mach. “Oh Mach, what are you doing here?” Jasmine asked as got back to her feet. “I could ask you the same thing.” Mach replied
“The G.U.N soldiers have driven the White aliens back into this jungle. They called me to help them round up the last ones.” Jasmine told him. “Exactly how many are left?” Mach asked. “Only ten of them. Why do you ask?” questioned Jasmine. “Those things disgust me. I want to make sure they all get what’s coming to them.” Mach replied. “Whatever. Come on, let’s go.” Jasmine said as she flew into the air with Mach following her on the ground.
After exploring the jungle for a little while, Mach and Jasmine found two gun soldiers being pinned down by three White Warriors. “These humans can’t do anything themselves.” Mach said silently. Mach used his super speed to pick up the G.U.N. soldiers and transport them to a safe place. After placing the G.U.N. soldiers in a safe location, Mach returned to face the enemy aliens. “Alright you White freaks, you're through.” Mach said.
The White Warriors grabbed their guns and fired them at ebony White hedgehog. Mach found it very simple to dodge the shots with his super speed. While he was running from the alien fire, Mach just suddenly disappeared. The White Warriors looked around confused to where Mach might be. Just then, Mach appears out of nowhere and strikes one of the White Warriors over the head and kicks another across the face.
Mach landed on his feet and looked at the two knocked out White Warriors. “Pathetic creatures. Did you really think you stood a chance against me?” Mach said. Unknown to Mach, one White Warrior remained standing. The White Warrior silently walked up behind Mach and aimed its gun to the back of his head. The White Warrior was about to fire from behind Mach until.
“SCREW KICK” was heard. Out of nowhere, Jasmine delivered her signature move on the White Warriors chest. Mach heard the attack and looked back to see Jasmine standing on top of the knocked out alien. “You better be more careful. We wouldn’t want anything to happen to our little Mach” Jasmine said in a baby voice. Mach was clearly annoyed by Jasmine and just walked away to get rid of the other White Legs soldiers.
After a long trek through the jungle, Mach and Jasmine had met up with another group of two White Warriors and a White Millipede. “We’ve already defeated three of them. That leaves us with only seven more left to beat.” Jasmine stated. “Whatever the odds, I will take them all.” Mach said as he charged at the White Legs group.
The White Warriors started things off by charging at Mach and Jasmine with their White swords. Jasmine flew up into the air to avoid the White Warriors assault. “Better luck next time.” Jasmine said mockingly. To her surprise, the White Warrior jumped high into the air and bashed her over the head to send her to the ground. Jasmine looked up to see the White Warrior bring his sword up and send it straight down on the helpless hedgehog. Jasmine closed her eyes in fear and waited for the aliens attack to strike. It never did.
Jasmine opened her eyes to find Mach holding one White Warrior by the back of its neck and his fist in the others guts. Mach moved his fist away to let the Warriors body to hit the ground and threw the other on top of it. Mach grabbed Jasmine by her arm to help her get back on to her feet. “You better be careful. We would want anything to happen to our little Jasmine” Mach said, repeating the joke Jasmine said earlier. Jasmine only replied with a loud “Humph.”
While they were too busy with their conversation, the missing White Millipede decided to pop out of the ground and attack the two from behind. Mach and Jasmine were able to land on their feet after the attack and watched as the White Millipede burrowed underground again. “Where is it?” Jasmine asked. “Anywhere it wants to be.” Mach replied. Time had seemed to have stopped as the pair waited for any signs of where their worm enemy might be. Mach closed his eye to focus on the environment around him and listen in on everything above and below ground.
The White Millipede popped out of the ground behind them and attacked the duo. Jasmine saw this and moved out of the way, but Mach was still standing in the same place. “Mach!” Jasmine yelled, but it was too late. Mach opened his eyes and looked up to see the White Millipede before being consumed by it. After the White Millipede had devoured Mach, it burrowed underground again. “Mach...no.” Jasmine said as she collapsed to her knee and began to cry for her fallen comrade.
While Jasmine was crying, three more White Warrior jumped down from the trees and landed behind the sobbing hedgehog. Hearing them hit the ground, Jasmine got back to her feet and turned to face them. Jasmine tried to run away but one of the White Warriors shot her leg and prevented her from escaping. The three White Warriors aimed their guns and readied themselves to fire, but stopped when they noticed a purple circle form under their feet.
“CHAOS SPEAR” was heard from below. The purple circle soon turned into a hundred small arrows and shot straight through the White Warriors bodies, killing them insteantly. “What the?” Jasmine said, stunned by the sudden rescue. Just then, the White Millipede that had eaten Mach fell from the sky and landed in front of Jasmine, dead. Standing on top of the dead worm was Mach, still alive. Sticky, but alive. “Oh, thank goodness. You had me worried there, Mach” Jasmine said. Mach only replied with a small smirk. Mach then noticed Horror’s Eye flying through the jungle and decided to chase it, leaving Jasmine very confused.
After chasing Horror’s Eye through the jungle, the two final stop inside the old ruins. “Having a little trouble with those G.U.N. agents...are we?” Mach said. “What a pitiful bunch.” White Horror said. “What did you say?” Mach said, angry. “Do you not understand, Mach. We're not here to exterminate these poor creatures. On the contrary...” White Horror said. Unknown to either of them, Jasmine was on a high platform, listening in on their conversation. “Who is that and why is Mach talking to him? And what are they talking about” Jasmine asked herself.
“What are you saying?” Mach asked. “All will be revealed...tomorrow.” White Horror said. “Tomorrow?” Mach questioned. “Mach, you should rest. You need to be ready for tomorrow's ritual.” White Horror said before his eye flew off. As soon as Horror’s Eye left, a large Blue and White, one-eyed, flying monster appeared from the sky. “You scum. You’re going down!” Mach shouted to the monster called White Ox.
The White Ox took a deep breath and spit out three large fireballs at Mach. Mach found them easy to avoid by running away from them. When he was under the White Ox, Mach went into ball form and used a spin dash straight up. But the White Ox’s body was too tough and bounced Mach away. “Great, now what?” Mach asked himself. The White Ox was no longer playing around. The large monster spat fire at the ground and created a large wave of fire. Mach had his back to the wall and had nowhere to run.
Just as all hope seemed lost, Mach felt himself being lifted into the air and safe from the wall of fire. Mach looked up to see Jasmine flying on a hang glider while carrying him by his shoulders. “You just can’t stay out of trouble, can you?” Jasmine said. “I never asked for your help.” Mach replied. “Well, if you’re gonna be ungrateful about it.” Jasmine said as she dropped Mach. Mach was above of the monster and fell on top of it. As he got closer, Mach accidentally stepped on the monsters eye before landing safely on the ground.
Mach looked up and saw the White Ox roar in pain and soon came up with an idea. “Jasmine, that things weakness is its eye. Get me into the air so we can attack it together.” Mach said to her. “Ok.” Jasmine replied as she grabbed Mach and took off into the air once more. Jasmine flew them both until they were right in front of the White Ox. “Alright Jasmine, let do it!” Mach said. “Right!” Jasmine replied.
Jasmine threw Mach high above her head and while in the air, Mach went into his ball form. As the Mach ball fell closer to the hedgehog, Jasmine reeled back her leg. When Mach was in front of her, Jasmine delivered a powerful kick and sent Mach straight at the White Ox. The combined attack sent Mach straight through the White Ox’s eye and several bumps could be seen on the monsters body as Mach was bouncing around inside it. Finally, Mach jumped through the White Ox’s chest and let it fall to the ground, dead.
Seeing as the fight was over, Jasmine walked up to the dead White Ox to examine it. Suddenly, her mobile communicator became active. “Jasmine, can you hear me?” “Don’t worry. I’m alright. I have successfully eliminated the ten remaining aliens.” Jasmine replied. “Good work, Jasmine. Wait for back-up to arrive.” “Whatever you say.” Jasmine replied. “Well that was quite a workout, wasn’t it Mach?” Jasmine asked. No reply. Jasmine looked back to see that Mach had already left. “I got to put a tracker on that guy one of these days.” Jasmine said to herself.

In the white house of Central City, the president looks out at the destruction that the White Legs have created during their stay on the planet. The G.U.N. commander walks into the room with two soldiers. “Sir, your transport is ready. It’s time to go.” The commander said. “Once again...I have failed to protect our nation.” The president said depressingly. The G.U.N. commander walks over to the president’s desk and his eye had caught a picture on it. It was a picture of Blur and Mach after they defeated the Final Hazard MK II and saved the entire world.
“Sir, it is not over yet! We can still fight. We can defeat the alien threat if we all stand together.” The commander stated. The president turned to the commander and also stared at the picture of the worlds greatest heroes. “Yes, keep the nation united. No matter what happens, we'll never surrender to these creatures. That much I learned from them.” The president said before he left with the two soldiers. “Soon, the White creatures will feel their own bloody Hell!” the commander said in rage.
Outside of the white house, an army of White Legs soldiers were charging at it, most, likely trying to kill the president. G.U.N. soldiers were doing the best they could, but they stood no chance against the alien army. Just as the White Legs were about to charge into the white house, a yell came from within the mass of warriors. “CHAOS BLAST!!!” and over a hundred White Legs soldier were killed in a blast of green light. The rest of the army looked over to find Mach standing in the middle of the battle zone. “Come and get me, you alien freaks.” Mach challenged.
The remaining thousand charged at Mach with guns, swords and anything else they could find. One warrior attacked Mach with a White sword, but Mach jumped off the blade and kicked it over the head. Another warrior shot its gun at him, but Mach grabbed another warrior to block the shot and threw him and the other. On and on, Mach kept fighting for his life as the soldiers kept coming and Mach was becoming exhausted. “There is too many for me to handle. I have failed.” Mach said as he fell to his knees.
As all hope seemed lost for Mach, but then he was snapped out sorrowful state by a voice from the sky. “Mach!” Mach looked to the sky and saw Wing piloting the Hurricane IV straight towards him. “Mach, grab on quickly!” Wing shouted. Wing flew the Hurricane IV straight through the White Legs mass, killing as many as he could, and Mach jumped on the wing of the plane when it got close. Once Mach was on the wing, Tails piloted the Hurricane IV back into the air.
“Wing, what are you doing here?” Mach asked. “Those White aliens are trying to kill the president. If they do that, then the entire nation will be sent into Chaos.” Wing explained. “So, you’re here to try and save the president.” Mach summed it up. “Right.” Wing replied. The flight was going smooth until the felt themselves being hit from behind. The two looked back to see several White Warriors riding on flying White aliens called White Wyverns.
“Exactly how many different creatures do they have?” Mach asked to god. The White Warriors fired their guns at the Hurricane IV and one shot managed to land a direct hit at the engine. “Oh no! We’ve been hit! We’re going down!” Wing exclaimed. The Hurricane IV was falling at rapid speeds and Tails was doing his best to keep them from crashing into the ground. With enough hard work, Wing managed to keep the plane from hitting the ground but was now headed for the G.U.N. escape ship.
Inside the G.U.N. escape ship, the Hurricane IV came crashing through one of the windows and straight at the wall. The Hurricane IV exploded on collision, but Mach saved them both using his super speed. “Man, that was a close one. Thanks for the save, Mach.” Wing said. “No problem, but your plane is completely destroyed.” Mach said “No worries. I can always build another one...again.” Wing said happily. “Wow, nothing gets this kid down.” Mach thought. “Come on, let’s move.” Mach said. “Right.” Wing replied as they walked deeper into the G.U.N. ship.
Once inside, Mach and Wing found several White Legs soldiers had managed to sneak aboard the ship without being detected by the secrurity. “How did they get inside the ship without setting off the alarm system?” Wing asked. “I don’t know how and I don’t really care. The only thing that matters is getting rid of them!” Mach shouted to his ally. Mach left Wing in his dust as he charged at the stowaway aliens.
The White Warriors were alerted of Mach’s presence when they heard him yelling to Wing. The White Warriors formed a line and fire their guns all at the same time. Mach knew he couldn’t dodge them by moving to the side, so he slid under them instead. After avoiding the gun shots, Mach jumped into the air and changed into his ball form. Once in his ball form, Mach used his homing attack on the alien’s heads to knock them out. “This is just too easy. You would think the White Legs would put up more of a fight.” Mach said.
Mach looked around and noticed that Wing was missing. “Great, were did that kid run off to now?” Mach asked. “Mach, over here!” Wing shouted. Mach looked over to find Wing standing in front of a corridor that led to another sector of the ship. Mach ran over to Wing and asked “What’s wrong, Wing?” “Mach, the president is being attacked by the White aliens just down this corridor. G.U.N. is doing everything they can, but they don’t stand a chance.” Wing explained. Once he knew what was going on, Mach ran down the corridor with Wing flying close behind.
The G.U.N. commander and soldiers were doing their best to protect the president as were trying to reach the presidents plane. “Don’t worry, sir. We have everything under control.” The commander said as he shot down another White Warrior. No matter how many White Legs soldier they took down, there were still too many to take. Slowly, one by one, the G.U.N. soldier were being killed until there was only the commander and the president. “What we need now is a miracle.” The president said.
One White Warrior was about to fire on the president until Mach shot straight through its chest using spin dash. Mach and Wing now stood between the White Arms and the president. “What are you doing here?!” the commander said with malice. “That’s the thanks I get for saving you life?” Mach asked. “Mr. President, you need to get out of here fast.” Wing informed. “I will. But before I go, please take this.” The president said. The president reached for something in his pocket and threw it at Mach. Mach caught it and looked into his hand to see that it was a light-blue chaos emerald.
“I believe this will help you on your mission, Mach.” The president said. “Thank, sir.” Mach said to the president. The president nodded his head and ran into the plane to escape. The commander was hesitant at first, but soon followed the president into the plane. “Wing, I want you to go with them.” Mach said to the young hedgehog. “But why?” Wing asked. “Just trust me.” Mach said. Wing didn’t want to leave but realized that Mach has never let him down before. Wing nodded his head and ran into the president’s plane.
Mach watched as the plane and its passengers left the G.U.N. escape ship. Mach took another look around himself and found that he was surrounded by the White Legs again. But instead of panicking, Mach smirked as the five chaos emeralds he collected floated around him. “If I can destroy an entire temple with only two emeralds. Imagine what I can do with five.” Mach said to himself. The White Legs advanced further to the Black hedgehog and prepared to kill him for good this time.
Gathering all the negative energies of the chaos emerald, Mach’s body was wrapped in a great red light. “Come and get me!” Mach stated with confidence. Soon, all the White Warriors, Oaks and Hawks jumped on Mach and crushed him with their combined weight. “SUPER CHAOS BLAST!!!” Mach shouted as all of the negative energies were released from his body and exploded.
The president and Wing looked out the window and saw that the entire ship was enveloped in a gigantic green explosion. “I hope Mach is alright.” Wing said, concerned. “I am sure he is alright.” The president said to his young friend. In the cockpit, the commander smiled as he watched the ship explode. “Good riddance, you monster” the commander said silently. Suddenly he heard a loud clank coming from the nose of the plane. He looked out the window to see Mach standing on it, perfectly fine.
“What? But...how? How did you survive?!” the commander yelled in anger. Mach looked back at the commander and, even though he couldn’t hear him, he could tell what he was saying. “I don’t know what you have against me, but we will have to finish this some other time.” Mach said as he lifted his newly acquired chaos emerald. “CHAOS CONTROL!” Mach shouted before he disappeared again. “Damn you, Mach the Hedgehog.” The commander yelled in anger.

Mach was found walking through a deep forest outside Central City. Mach’s mind was uneasy because of all that had happen over the past few days. Mach had helped Blur and his friends save the world more the once. But he has also helped White Horror and Eggman try to conquer it. He was confused on whom's to side one and one memory of White Horror made the pressure worse. “What am I going to do? I want to help my friends, but if I do, White Horror may not reveal the secrets of my family. Why must this be so difficult?” Mach thought.
He continued to walk through the forest until a circle of light surrounds him. “What the?” Mach said in surprise. Soon the circle spreads itself and Mach finds himself hovering in the Earth’s atmosphere. “Mach. You have not been following orders lately.” White Horror said as he appeared from behind. “I told you, I am going to keep my promise to Kumori. So just back off.” Mach said. “You made a promise to the girl. But do you remember who it was that almost killed her?” White Horror asked. Mach didn’t reply because he knew the answer to the question.
White Horror floated closer to Mach and placed his hand on the hedgehogs shoulder. “It was the humans that did it. The humans killed your editor, MR Robotnik.” White Horror said. Mach looked away as he remembered the day Mr Robotnik was shot by one of the G.U.N. soldiers 8 years ago. “Not only did they kill him, but they have also defiled your home as well. Take a look.” White Horror said as both of them turned around to face Mach’s old home, Mars.
It had been over a month since Mach saved the world by destroying Mars’ most powerful weapon, the Armageddon. After taking a good look, Mach saw that everything, even the Armageddon, on Mars had been repaired. “Mars. But how can it be?” Mach asked White Horror. “The humans have repaired it and now use it as a base for their military operations” White Horror said.
“What?” Mach asked. “Yes, the humans have defiled Mars and now use it as a weapon of war. If that weapon were in our hands, it would be used to bring prosperity to the world.” White Horror said. “Then consider it done. No one ruins my home and gets away with it!” Mach said with anger. White Horror then summoned a White Wyvern and allowed Mach to ride it. As Mach rode off to Mars, White Horror chuckled evilly. “This is almost too easy. That fool actually fell for it.” White Horror said silently.
As Mach flew the White Wyvern closer to Mars, he noticed that many electrical barriers were surrounding it. “What are those things doing here?” Mach asked. Then, Horror’s Eye floats along side Mach. “Those are barriers that the humans built to keep out all intruders. It would seem that the humans continue to defile your home with those barriers.” White Horror said. “Not for long.” Mach said. “Good. To get rid of the barriers, you must destroy the two defense units around Mars.” White Horror said. “Understood.” Mach replied.
Mach was searching for one of the defense units until he saw a laser that nearly hit them. Mach looked back to find several G.U.N. beetle droids shooting at them. “Do not pay any attention to them. My soldiers will take care of them.” White Horror said. White Horror then summoned two more White Wyverns that charged at the G.U.N. robots. The beetle constantly fired at the flying aliens, but they were too fast to hit. Soon enough, both White Wyverns flew past the robots and destroyed them.
“Not bad.” Mach complimented. After a long search, Mach had run across an unknown machine and he could only guess was the defense unit. With the target in sight, Mach formed over twenty yellow arrows around him. “CHAOS SPEAR!” Mach shouted. The arrows flew past the Black hedgehog and broke straight through the defense unit, causing it to create a large explosion “One down, one more to go.” Mach said.
As Mach continued his search for the defense unit, he ran into a bit of trouble when asteroids were hovering around Mars. Mach used another chaos spear to destroy another asteroid that was about to hit them. “These barriers can keep out intruders, but not asteroids? The humans really are as dumb as they look” Mach said. Another asteroid was headed for their direction and Mach was prepared to use another chaos spear. But before he could use it, the asteroid suddenly exploded without any reason. “What?” Mach said in surprise.
Then, out of the destruction of the asteroid came a G.U.N. walker that looked similar to the one Mach fought on Prison Island over a month ago. “Target sighted. Firing cannons now.” The pilot said. The walker let out a barrage of laser that Mach was barely able to avoid. Knowing that he couldn't win while on the White Wyvern, Mach made a sharp turn left and headed into another direction. “You can’t escape me, traitor!” The pilot yelled as he chased after Mach.
For the first time ever, Mach was running for his life. Mach looked back and watched as the walker continued to follow him without giving any signs of stopping. “Mach, look up ahead.” White Horror said. Mach looked forward to find the second defense unit and an idea hit him. “This should be fun.” Mach said with confidence. Mach increased the speed of the White Wyvern and headed for the defense unit. Mach looked back to find that the walker was following him to the exact speed. The unit came closer and when Mach was only an inch from hitting it, he jumped off the wyvern to a floating safety area.
Mach watched as the White Wyvern and the walker both crashed into the defense unit and was destroyed in the explosion. “Well done, Mach. That was the last one. Now you must enter Mars and activate the Armageddon.” White Horror said. “Yes, but unfortunately I don’t have a way to reach it.” Mach said. Just then, a White Hawk flew down next to Mach. “You were saying.” White Horror said. Mach said nothing as he jumped on the White Hawk and rode off to the inside of Mars.
Once inside Mars, Mach jumped off the White Hawk and decided walk the rest of the way. After a peaceful walk through his old home, Mach had reached the power core of the Armageddon. “It looks exactly the say before Blur and I destroyed it.” Mach said. Then suddenly, a large, blue, round G.U.N. machine appeared from behind the cannon core and faced Mach and readied itself to strike.
“Mars to Headquarters! Mars to Headquarters! Come in! Come in! Mach has penetrated Mars! He's headed towards the control room of the Armageddon.” The pilot said over the radio. “I knew he couldn’t be trusted. Blue Falcon, do whatever you can to stop him. I want you to destroy him at all costs. That is an order.” The G.U.N. commander responded. “Yes, sir.” the pilot said. “Alright hedgehog, prepare to be destroyed.” The pilot said to Mach.
“Foolish humans. Do they really believe they can defeat me?” Mach said. The Blue Falcon began the battle by using the rocket launchers around its body to attack him. Mach made no effort to move, but instead, he just swatted the rockets away like they were flies. “What? But how?” The confused pilot asked. “Have you forgotten? I am still the Perfect life-form.” Mach said. “We’ll just see about that.” The pilot said. Soon, the Blue Falcons body started to glow light-blue “Particle beam cannon, FIRE!” the pilot shouted. A wave of light-blue energy lashed out around the entire area.
After the destruction was over, the pilot looked around to see that Mach was no longer there. “Alright. That hedgehog is finally dead.” the pilot said. “I wouldn’t be too sure of that.” A voice from the passenger’s seat said. The pilot looked back to find that Mach was sitting in the seat, completely unharmed. Mach grabbed the pilot from his seat upfront and that was the last time he was ever seen alive.
All around the earth, the White Legs destruction had stopped as White Horror’s voice filled the sky. “We are the White Legs. We are here to take rule of this planet. Any attempts to resist are futile, and will result in death. As of today... this planet, is MINE! Annihilation for this planet is near. It is time to embrace the dawn of your demise and despair.” White Horror said
Out in space, the once destroyed Armageddon had become active. The large tower opened up on Mars and charges itself with a ray of green energy surrounding it. After a few moments the cannon fires its blast towards earth at incredible speed. The blast tears through two fleeing escape ship before colliding with the white house. The blast expands farther and completely destroys all of Central City. White Horror’s laughter could be heard from the sky.
Back on Mars, Mach watched in horror as the Armageddon had been fired onto his home planet. Mach then realized that he had been tricked by White Horror so that he could use the Armageddon on the planet. And speak of the devil, White Horror floated behind Mach and looked out to the planets destruction. “It is truly a beautiful sight. Wouldn’t you agree, Mach?” White Horror said to the Black hedgehog. Mach looked to White Horror with anger in his eyes.
“What are you doing?! You said that you would bring prosperity to the planet! And yet your destroying my home risking the chance of me ever finding my family” Mach yelled at the alien leader. “We are bringing prosperity, Mach. Only in a different way.” White Doom said to him. “By destroying the planet?! That is not prosperity, this is total destruction. You said you would protect the planet! You lied to me. This intiretime I fell for your schemes.” Mach said “Hmm...so I have.” White Horror said like it was no bid deal.
Mach was now furious and lunged at the lying alien leader. But White Horror just swatted Mach away with a wave of his hand. Mach was thrown to the other side of the room and felt unusually drained after a single hit. White Horror hovered above Mach and took the five chaos emeralds he collected. “Now I possess six chaos emeralds.” White Horror said. “Six” questioned Mach. White Doom revealed a red chaos emerald that most likely got from the Lethal Highway when the tank tried to escape.
“With these six chaos emerald, finding the last one with be a simple matter.” White Horror said. Mach struggled to get on his feet and looked at White Horror with the chaos emeralds floating around his head. “You won’t get away with this White Horror.” Mach stated. “Too late, Mach. I already have. With the chaos emeralds in my possession, you are no longer needed.” White Horror said. “What?” Mach said. “DARK CONTROL!” White Horror shouted. And in a flash of light, Mach had disappeared off Mars.

It had been several hour since White Horror used the Armageddon to destroy all of Central City. The president and commander were in the G.U.N. control room, watching the destruction replay itself on the video screen. “This can’t be happening.” The president said silently. “Don’t worry, sir. We will make those invaders pay for this.” The commander said. Suddenly, the alarms begin blaring all around the base. “What is happening?” the president asked suddenly.
“Commander, over a thousand White aliens have infiltrated our fortress.” One of the G.U.N. soldier reported. “WHAT!?” the president and the commander shouted together. “And that’s not all. According to our reports, Mach the Hedgehog has also been spotted inside the base.” The soldier continued. “Mach? I don’t believe it.” the president said in a depressing manner. Mach’s appearance with the White Legs made it looked like he had sided with them. The commander finally saw an opportunity to get rid of the Black hedgehog.
“So he's finally decided to show himself. Attention all command units! Mobilize all Mech battle sections! Prepare all weapons to strike incoming vessels! Mobilize "Diablon"!” the commander ordered. “But sir. It’s not finished.” The soldier replied. “I don’t care! I gave you an order and I expect you to follow it!” the commander stated. “Yes, sir.” The soldier said before leaving the room. “Mach! Damn you! It's been fifty years... justice will finally be served.” The commander said venomously.
Near the landing pad where the president’s plane landed, Mach was looking down at the soldiers from the higher levels of the base. Inside Mach’s mind, one sentence kept replaying itself. “Mach, Give them a chance to be happy.” Kumori’s words echoed through his mind. “You still want the humans to be happy. I promise I will no longer be blinded by my own wants. I will keep my promise to you, Kumori.” Mach said.
Mach heard a loud thumping sound coming from below and looked over the railing to see all the G.U.N. soldiers took their positions and aimed all their guns at the steel entrance. Large bumps started forming from the steel door and was soon broken off it hinges. The White Legs started swarming through the door and began their assault on the base. “Open fire!” the leader shouted. Lasers and bullets were fired all across the room and bouncing everywhere. One random shot nearly took Mach’s head if he didn’t move in time.
“This has gone on long enough. Time for me enter this battle.” Mach said. Mach jumped off the railing and plummeted to the battle below. Mach landed on one of the White Warriors head to knock it out. Another White Warrior fired his laser at Mach, but he avoided and landed a strong kick to it chest. Unknown to Mach, another White Warrior snuck up behind him and prepared to swing its White sword on him. Mach heard a loud clank from behind him and looked back to find the White sword on the ground and looked up to see the White Warrior being hung by it neck by a...blue tentacle?
Mach followed the tentacle up to a steel beam to find the son of god of destruction, Tsunami. “Tsunami?” Mach said in surprise. Tsunami released the dead alien and jumped off the beam to land in front of Mach. “I am so glad you are here. Mach.” A voice from behind said, startling Mach. Mach looked behind him to see Chaos. “Chaos, Tsunami. What are you two doing here?” Mach asked. “We knew the invaders were attacking and wanted to help.” Chaos said. “It’s a good thing you did. Come on let move.” Mach said. “Right” Chaos replied. The trio raced off into the deeper part of the fortress.
In the deeper part of the G.U.N. fortress, the trio found a security area surrounded by a pool of strange unknown liquid. “What is that?” Mach asked. Tsunami sticks his claw into the unknown liquid and examines it with his mind. Chaos looked back to Tsunami and the water around him ripples, as if he was trying to talk. “It is liquid chaos, but it seems be different.” Tsunami said. “Different? How?” Mach asked. “This liquid chaos seems to be made by the humans. It is not as pure as real chaos, nor is it as powerful.” Tsunami explained
While the hero trio were wrapped in their conversation about the artificial chaos, they did not notice the White Warrior creeping up behind them. The White Warrior held up its White sword, but clumsily tripped over broke pole, causing a loud thump. Hearing the thump, the trio looked back and found the White Warrior on the ground, out cold. “White Horror seriously needs some new soldiers.” Mach said. Chaos suddenly points to the pathway on the other side of the room causing the others to look over and see a large number of White Legs. “Finally, some fun.” Mach said with a smirk.
Chaos reverted to a ball of light and flew away to avoid being caught in the battle. Many of the White Warriors used their guns on the two remaining heroes, but dodge them in time. Mach used his speed to get behind a few of the White Warrior and shouted “CHAOS SPEAR” to send multiple arrows through the aliens. Tsunami was surrounded by seven White Warriors and had nowhere to run. The White Warriors lunged themselves at Tsunami, but he reverted himself into a puddle, causing the alien invaders to collide with each other.
Mach and Tsunami stood back to back as they were surrounded by over a hundred more White Warriors. “So, got a plan?” Mach asked. Tsunami looked down for a moment and the turned his head to the artificial chaos. Tsunami suddenly jumped on to one of the White Warriors heads to bounce off another. Tsunami was running on top of the aliens heads until he had reached the pool of chaos. Tsunami jumped inside the pool and nothing happened. “Yeah, good plan.” Mach said sarcastically.
The White Warrior stared at the pool for a moment before turning back to their other target: Mach. “This is not my day.” Mach said. The White Warriors aimed their guns at Mach until the entire room started to shake. “What’s going on?” Mach asked. Chaos flew down next to him and said “It’s Tsunami.” The pool of artificial Chaos erupted and began to take form. As it took form, it started to look like Tsunami, only he was now twenty feet high. “That’s kind of cool.” Mach said. The Tsunami giant swung down its arms to pound the White aliens into dust.
When Tsunami finished decimating the White Warriors, Chaos appeared in her regular form in front of Mach. “Mach, more of those awful creatures are coming. You must go; we will take care of them.” Chaos said. And like Chaos said, more White Legs aliens had arriving inside the base. Mach was hesitant at first, but he knew Tsunami could handle the situation. “Thank you, Chaos. And you too, Tsunami.” Mach said before running off to the center of the fortress.
Mach had reached the center of the base and has yet to find what he was looking for. “Don’t tell me G.U.N. doesn’t have a way to reach Mars. I have to get to Mars before White Horror uses the Armageddon again.” Mach said to himself. “So we meet again, Mach.” a voice echoed through the room. Mach looked up to see a giant red robot with only arms and one eye. “Today, justice will be served! You will pay for what you did, Mach!” the commander yelled from inside the robot. “Look I don’t have time for this. So let’s just get this over with. Wait I didn’t do anything to… Ah screw it you wont listen.” Mach said calmly.
Since the red robot, Diablon, was hovering in the air, Mach could not make any physical contact, so he had to play smart. The Diablon charged its eye and shot out a blue energy beam at Mach. Mach was lucky enough to avoid the blast by only an inch. “Hold still, you devil!” the commander shouted. The Diablon launched another energy beam and Mach avoided it. Unknown to Mach, the beam bounced off a piece of glass and managed the graze his leg. “What?” Mach asked as he felt the hot burning pain coming from his leg.
Mach looked at the glass that bounced the beam and quickly thought of an idea. Mach was able to stand, even with his burned leg, and ran over the glass. “You won’t get away from me!” The commander shouted. The Diablon fired another energy beam towards Mach’s direction. Thinking fast, Mach grabbed the glass and used it to redirect the beam back at the Diablon’s chest plate. The Diablon fell to the ground and deactivated since its power core was destroyed by the beam.
Mach walked to the head and opened it up to find...no one. Mach looked and the controls and found a small communicator next to the controls. “He must have been controlling this robot by remote.” Mach said. “That’s right.” The commander’s voice came from behind. Mach turned around and found the commander holding a small pistol towards his face. “It has been a long time...Mach the Hedgehog.” The commander said calmly. “Alright, enough is enough. Who are you and how do you know who I am?” Mach questioned the commander.
“I know you... Mach the Hedgehog. It’s your fault everyone I loved... my family... was killed on Mars. I've been waiting all my life for this day!” the commander said. “You liar!” Mach said, outraged by the commander’s words. “Everyone was like a family to me. They were the only family I knew! And because of you... they were killed! Witnessing it all... the plan to create that horrifying evil creature... those Dark creatures, and that insane Mister who unleashed it all!” the commander stated.
Mach was shocked that the commander said White Horror might have something to do with his creation. “So...Mr Robotnik edited me and Kumori...with White Horror?” Mach asked. "You don't fool me! Thanks to you, everyone I knew and loved was killed when Mars was almost destroyed. Worst of all, my family! Finally... justice is served!” the commander shouted. The commander fired his gun on Mach, but when he did, the Black hedgehog disappeared.
“If what you say is true which it isn't, then I will still wouldn't accept my fate.” Mach said behind the commander with his back turned towards him. The commander was confused at why this monster would not willingly die and could only think of one reason. “You didn’t know any of this, did you?” the commander asked. “Please, give me a little more time to uncover the real truth. I have to find me and Kumori’s real family’s” Mach said as he walked away. The commander watch Mach leave and silently said “Good luck, Mach the Hedgehog.”

After the defeat of the G.U.N. commander, Mach spent his time in the base looking for a way to reach Mars. Unfortunately, the only space crafts they had were destroyed when the White Legs attacked. Seeing as how G.U.N. could not help him, he had only one person to turn to: Dr. Eggman. Mach had not seen Eggman personally since the entire Cryptic Castle incident and knew that he would be hiding in a new location.
Lucky for him, Mach has had someone keeping track of Eggman’s movements ever since he was released from suspended animation on Prison Island. But in the current time, he wishes he hadn’t. The person he asked keep track of Eggman was...Kumori. Mach knew that if he went to Kumori, she would reveal his location in exchange for him going out on a date with her. He really didn’t want to go out on a date with his crush currently. But right now, he didn’t have a choice. With his mind made up, Mach raced off to Station Square.
Mach stood atop one of the buildings in the city and looked down to the streets. By the looks of it, the White Legs have attacked this city too. But the damage was not as extensive as the former Central City. Even though she was a hedgehog among humans, it wasn’t going to be easy to find Kumori. Then suddenly, out of nowhere come a pair of arms that wrap around Mach and crush him. Mach knew that those arms could only belong to Kumori.
“Oh, Mach! I missed you so much!” Kumori screamed. The screaming was hurting Mach’s ears because she was only an inch from him. After taking a moment, Mach released himself from Kumori’s hold and looked at her with a serious expression. “Listen Kumori, I don’t have time for this. I need to know where Eggman is hiding right now.” Mach said. “Aww, aren’t you even going to say hello. You take things way to seriously.” Kumori said. “You don’t understand. Eggman is the only person who can help me get to Mars. So do you know where he is or not?” Mach questioned.
See that Mach was serious about this, Kumori decided to give in. “Alright, I’ll tell you. But only on one condition.” Kumori said. “Here we go” Mach said in his mind. As Mach predicted, Kumori was going to ask for a date. “You have to take me with you.” Kumori said. “I already told you the answer is—what?” Mach said, surprised that Kumori didn’t ask him for a date. “You’re probably wondering why I didn’t ask for a date, right?” Kumori asked. Mach nodded his head, still in shock.
“You want to get to Mars so you can get to those aliens, right.” Kumori asked. Mach nodded his head again. “I agree that those aliens need to be stopped, which means there is no time for a date. We have to put an end to those aliens reign.” Kumori said. “Finally, you’re talking sense.” Mach said. “And then we can go on a date.” Kumori continued, causing Mach to blush. Kumori ran off with Mach following behind, headed towards Eggmans base.
After running over a hundred miles, Mach and Kumori stop at the base of an active volcano. “Are you telling me that Eggman’s base is inside this volcano?” Mach asked. “Yep, pretty much.” Kumori said. “Why can’t the doctor ever pick someplace normal to build a base?” Mach asked himself. “Maybe he doesn’t like neighbors.” Kumori said. Mach looked at Kumori like she was crazy. Seeing Mach’s expression, Kumori said “What? It could be a possibility.” “Never mind, let’s go.” Mach said as they both ran into the secret entrance of the base.
Mach and Kumori were now standing on a platform that was being held up by the lava below them. The heat of the place was intense. Even Mach could be seen losing his cool. “How does...Eggman survive...in a place like this?” Kumori asked panting from the heat. “Who knows? But we have to keep moving. We don’t want to stay in one place too long.” Mach said. Mach and Kumori trudged through the blazing base, hoping to find Eggman before they were boiled alive.
The two hedgehogs walked around the base, too hot to run, and have found absolutely no sign of Eggman anywhere inside. Finally, Kumori collapses to the ground from severe dehydration. “Kumori, are you ok?” Mach asked. Kumori did her best to move, but she had no strength left in her body. “No, I can’t move.” Kumori said. Mach tried to walk over and help her, but collapsed from dehydration as well. Mach took one last look at Kumori before his vision went Black.
One hour later, Mach woke up and felt surprisingly cool. Mach looked around and found that he had been moved to a new location. Mach got up to his feet and examined his new surroundings. It looked like he was still in the volcano, only the area was cooled by a large ventilation system. Mach continued to scan the area until he spotted Kumori on the ground a few feet away from him. “Kumori!” Mach yelled with concern. Mach ran over to Kumori’s side and grabbed her in his arms.
Mach shook Kumori, trying to wake her up. “Kumori! Kumori! Wake up!” Mach shouted. After a few seconds, Kumori’s eyes open to gaze upon Mach. Almost instantly, Kumori wrapped Mach into a bone-breaking hug. “Mach. I was so worried that you were hurt.” Kumori said. “I will be if you don’t let go.” Mach said choked out. Kumori let go of Mach and got back up to her feet. “Where are we?” Kumori asked. “I don’t know.” Mach replied. “Why, you two are in the center of my base.” A familiar voice came from above
Suddenly, a four-legged red robot with three slots dropped down in front of the White hedgehogs. “Doctor?” Mach said. “Mach, Kumori. What are you two doing here?” Eggman questioned. “Doctor, we need to use one of your space crafts to Mars.” Mach said. “Not a chance. You see, those aliens need the seven chaos emeralds to complete their plans. And as long as I have my own chaos emerald, nothing can stop me.” Eggman said. “You have a chaos emerald?” Mach asked. “Yes and I will use it to destroy you with my greatest creation, the Egg Dealer.” Eggman said.
The slots on the Egg Dealer started spinning until they stopped on three missile signs. “Ha-ha, prepare for missile fever.” Eggman said. Then, missiles launched out of the sides of the Egg Dealer and headed towards Mach and Kumori. Using their speed, Mach and Kumori avoided the missiles and ran towards the Egg Dealer. Mach jumped into the air and used a homing attack on Eggman, but was sent back by an invisible barrier around Eggman.
“Ugh, darn him.” Mach said. While Mach was busy fighting Eggman, Kumori noticed that the slots were still spinning and when they matched, the Egg Dealer would launch an attack at Mach. So what would happen if Mach used them instead? “Mach, try and use those slots against Eggman!” Kumori yelled. Mach took notice that there were three buttons under each slot and thought they the key to stopping the slots. “This better work or you’re dead, Kumori!” Mach yelled.
When Mach wasn’t looking, Eggman landed another row of missiles signs and launched them at him. Mach saw the missiles out of the corner of his eye and nearly avoided them with his super speed. After avoiding the missiles, Mach jumped into the air and used a homing attack on the three buttons of the Egg Dealer. After hitting the buttons three times, three picture of Mach appeared on the slots. “No! Not Mach fever! Why did I put that one in anyway?” Eggman said.
Mach felt an unusual amount of energy enter his body and recognized this familiar sensation. This was the same sensation he felt whenever he used his dark blast. “You made a big mistake challenging me, Eggman.” Mach said. Mach’s body was wrapped in a red glow light. Mach ran under the Egg Dealer and released all the stored dark energy. “CHAOS BLAST!!!” Mach yelled. The blast completely destroyed the Egg Dealer, but allowed Eggman to survive. During the blast, the chaos emerald was shot out of the Egg Dealer and was caught by Mach.
Eggman groaned as he sat up and rubbed his aching head. Mach walked over to Eggman and surprisingly offered a hand to Eggman to help the doctor up. Eggman was hesitant at first, but accepted the offer and was back on his feet. “I guess you beat me fair and square, Mach.” Eggman said. “Doctor, we need to use one of your space crafts to reach Mars. Allow us to use one, please.” Mach said. “Give me one reason why I should.” Eggman said. “The colony was built by your father, Eggman. I would have expected you to hold it sacred since you looked up to him.” Mach said.
Mach got Eggman that time. All his life, Eggman always looked up to his father as a hero and respected him. And now his father’s greatest creation was being used by aliens bent on destroying the world. There was no way he was going to stand for that. “Alright, you convinced me! Let’s get out there and destroy those alien thieves!” Eggman shouted. “So you’ll let us use your space craft?” Mach asked. “I would, but I don’t have any.” Eggman said. “Great. The ‘genius’ was too stupid to build a space ship.” Kumori complained.
Mach was officially out of ideas. Since neither G.U.N. nor Eggman had any way of getting to the ARK, the entire world was doomed. Just as the trio was about to give up hope, they heard what sounded like rocket engines. The trio looked up to see a red round space shuttle with Blur standing on top of it. “Hey, Mach. What’s happening?” Blur called out. “Blur? How did you find us?” Mach asked.
The window of the shuttles cockpit lowered to reveal Wing in the pilot’s seat. “That’s easy. I placed a tracking device on your quill when we helped the president escape.” Wing said. Mach checked his quills and pulled out a small square chip, just like Wing said. “You're good, kid” Mach complimented. “Looks like those White creatures are headed out to space. they're on their way to Mars, so I guess that means we're going too! So hurry up. Next stop, Mars.” Blur said.
The shuttle lowed itself so that Mach and the others could enter inside. Mach and Kumori entered the shuttle with Eggman followed close behind them. “Hey! What’s he doing here!?” Rock voice came from the back. Mach looked around the shuttle and saw the entire hero gang onboard. “Looks like the whole gang is here.” Mach said in his mind. “He is coming with us. He could be of some use later.” Mach said. “buckle your seatbelts everyone because were off.” Wing said from the pilot’s seat. The shuttle changed it direction and flew off into the sky, towards Planet Colony: 001.

The shuttle that carried the heroes inside was traveling at a slow pace to avoid being detected by the White Legs. Inside, the heroes were planning a stage of attack against White Horror. “How do we even know that this “White Horror” is even still on Mars?” Rock asked. “He presents an excellent point. There is a chance that White Horror could be expecting us to attack.” Eggman said. “Then it is a chance we will have to take. We have to make sure the Armageddon is no longer under the control of the White legs or White Horror.” Mach said.
A few moments later, the space shuttle landed at the flight deck of Mars without a problem. The large group of heroes tried to exit the shuttle, but Mach accidentally ran into an unknown person upon exiting. Mach and the unknown person were knocked down to the ground and Mach looked up to see the new arrival. The new person looked to be a large brown crocodile with green spikes going down his back. The crocodile wore grey headphones, a golden chain around his neck, White cuffs with golden buckles and White and white sneakers. The Blur gang knew him as Vec the crocodile.
“Hey, guys. It’s Vec. What are you doing here Vec?” Blur asked. Vec sat up and looked at the group, surprised that they were here on Mars. “Hey guys, Great to see ya. I'm here doing some under cover work for Team Chaotix Jr.” Vec said as he got back to his feet. “Great, another one.” Mach said sarcastically in his mind. Mach remembered when he ran into the other members of Team Chaotix Jr, Glee and Esper. Mach was surprised that he didn’t kill Glee, but he respected Esper.
“What are you doing, Vec.” Alexis asked. “I’m trying to find the computer room to this place, but I’m lost.” Vec admitted. “There’s a surprise.” Rock said sarcastically. Out of everyone, Mach seemed the most interested in Vec’s mission. “First Glee took those top secret disks from Prison Island. Then Esper stole the data from Eggman’s computer. Now this guy wants to extract the data from the computer room. Maybe the data they took hold the secrets of my Family.” Mach thought
“I shall take you to the computer room” Mach said out loud. Everyone looked at Mach, surprised that he would give this kind offer to someone he didn't know. “Are you sure, Mach?” Jasmine asked. “I am the only one that knows where it is. Besides, he looks like he could use our help.” Mach explained. “But what about White Horror.” Wing asked. “It would be a good idea if we split up into groups of two. Blur and Eggman, Jasmine and Rock, Kumori and Blair, Wing and Alexis, Chaos and Tsunami. You will be those groups. Search every inch of Mars for White Horror.” Mach explained. “Got it.” everyone said.
The Five groups ran to different directions while Mach turned to face Vec. “So, where is the computer room?” Vec asked impatiently. “If you want to find it, then try to keep up.” Mach said. Mach ran of into another direction, leaving Vec in his dust. “Hey! Wait for me!” Vec yelled as he ran after Mach.
Mach and Vec walked into a room that was built as a bridge with glowing blue ooze beneath it. Remembering the time at the G.U.N. base, Mach knew it was artificial liquid chaos. “Why would there be liquid chaos onboard Mars?” Mach asked in his mind as he looked down from the bridge. Vec looked back and noticed that Mach had stopped walking as was looking at the strange ooze. “Hey Mach, hurry up. We don’t have all day.” Vec said as he continued walking. Vec soon stopped walking when he ran into something that felt wet.
Vec looked up and saw a round blue blob with tentacles and a metal head shaped like Chaos. Upon seeing the creature, Vec let out a loud scream of surprise and ran next to Mach. “This must be another one of the professor’s experiments.” Mach thought. The fake Chaos enlarged its tentacles and aimed them at Mach and Vec. Mach jumped out of the way while Vec tripped on his own two feet to avoid the attack. When Mach was over the fake Chaos head he yelled out “CHAOS SPEAR!” and sent several purple arrows at the fake.
Unfortunately, since the attack was made from Chaos energy, the fake Chaos absorbed the attack and grew larger. “What!?” Mach yelled in surprise. The fake Chaos then wrapped its tentacle around Mach and lifted him off the ground. The fake Chaos began to squeeze the life out of Mach. All had seemed hopeless until Vec jumped from out of nowhere and snapped his jaws onto the fake Chaos mechanical head. The fake body reverted back into its ooze form and allowed Mach a chance to escape.
Vec walked over to Mach with the fake Chaos head in his mouth and spit it out. “Oh, that was nasty.” Vec said as he pulled out a bar of soap from nowhere and scrubbed his tongue with it. “This guy is even stranger then Blur. And that’s saying something.” Mach thought. “I guess I owe you one.” Mach said. “Yes, you do.” Vec stated. “Then allow me to show you the real way to the computer room.” Mach said. “What? You were leading me in the wrong direction?” Vec asked in surprise. “Actually, I was hoping I would lose you. Now come on.” Mach said as he ran off with Vec following.
After taking the real path to the computer room, Mach and Vec found themselves in a room with three floating sections and toxic waste underneath them. “At the end of this room, the computer room is there.” Mach said as he pointed to the door across the room. “But I suggest you let me take you across.” Mach said. “How come?” Vec asked. Vec walked closer to the floating sections and jumped to it until Mach pulled him back. As Mach pulled him back, a large energy beam shot up and nearly killed Vec. “That’s why.” Mach said to his shaking ally.
“So, how do you plan on getting us across?” Vec asked. Mach then pulled out the purple chaos emerald that he obtained from Eggman and showed it to Vec. “Hang on.” Mach said as he grabbed Vec’s arm. Mach raised his chaos emerald and Shouted “CHAOS CONTROL!” Mach and Vec disappeared and reappeared on the other side of the room. “Why didn’t you do that at the beginning?” Vec questioned. “You never asked.” Mach replied before walking into the room.
Mach and Vec walked through the door and entered a room with large, green, electronic towers with a small control panel in the center. “Wow! This place is huge!” Vec shouted. Mach scanned the room but suddenly stopped when he heard a familiar annoying voice. “Mach!” “Oh no.” Mach said silently. Mach turned around for a moment before being slammed to the ground by Glee. “Mach, you’re here! Yay! Now you can give me my autograph!” Glee Shouted.
Lucky for Mach, Esper came from behind the bee and lifted him into the air by his wings. “Glee. Do not be rude to our ally.” Esper said. “Aww.” Glee complained. Mach got back up to his feet and stared at his old allies. “What are you doing here?” Mach asked. “We were heading towards the computer room when Vec somehow got lost.” Esper explained. “I’m here now aren’t I?” Vec said. “Indeed.” Esper said. “Well, good luck with whatever you are doing. If you find anything, let me know.” Mach said. “Will do.” Vec replied. Mach held his chaos emerald and used chaos control to teleport away.
Mach’s chaos control teleported him to the same place he started this whole crazy adventure. Just then, the five groups had returned to the spot and looked disappointed. “What happened?” Mach asked. “Nothing, that’s what.” Rock replied. “It looks like the White Legs left this place a while ago. They didn’t leave trace of where they might be going.” Wing says. Mach was confused. Where could the White Legs be if they weren’t on Earth or Mars?
Then, Blur looks up to the sky to see a large comet wrapped in ice and flames. “Hey guy, look.” Blur said to the group as he pointed to the comet. Mach looks at the comet and asks “What is that?” “That is the White Comet. Once every 50 years, it passes by the planet.” Blair explained. “Hey. I remember seeing that comet when Mr Robotnik was editing Mach. Do you think there is a connection between the two?” Kumori said. “White...Comet?” Mach said slowly.
Just then, Mach fell to his knees and held his head in pain. “Mach, what’s wrong?” Tsunami asked in concern. Mach weakly gets back to his feet and looks to the White Comet again. “I think you're right... I feel it... they're up there. That's where the answers are... I've got to get to that Comet!” Mach exclaimed. Mach pulled out his chaos emerald and shouted “CHAOS CONTROL!” and with that, the entire group was teleported to their new destination: the White Comet.

Thanks to the power of Mach’s chaos control, the group of heroes and Eggman were teleported inside the White Comet. The inside of the comet was not what anyone had expected it to be. The entire place was organized, technological and made so that travel through the comet would be simple for anyone. “The White Legs are more advanced then I had first thought they were.” Eggman said out loud. “But which way do we go now?” Wing asked.
While everyone was busy choosing a path to take, Mach saw White Horror’s Eye floating down one of the passageways. “So which way do you think we should go, Mach?” Blur asked his counterpart. Blur received no response from Mach. “Mach?” Blur asked once again. The group looked back to find that Mach had already left. “Aw man. He ditched us.” Blur complained.
A while ago, Mach started chasing Horror’s Eye down the passageway, leaving the others behind. After a long run, Mach had lost the trail of Horror’s Eye. “Darn. Where did that thing float off to now?” Mach asked himself. Just then, a large hologram of White Horror appeared to Mach. “I see you have made it this far, Mach.” White Horror said. “That’s right, White Horror. I will end your plan of destroying the world, now!” Mach proclaimed. White Horror only laughed at Mach’s proclamation of stopping him.
“If you think you can stop me. Then prove it. You will find me at the center of the comet. But first you must defeat my elite warriors before you can face me.” White Horror challenged. “I will defeat any challenge you give me.” Mach said, accepting White Horror's challenge. “Then this is your chance to prove your worth.” White Horror said before his hologram disappeared. When the hologram disappeared, Mach was now faced with a new passageway and he ran down it.
The passageway had lead Mach to a large circular room with no way out. “Why would he bring me here?” Mach asked. Mach then heard a loud rumbling sound and looked back to see that the passageway he entered was now blocked off. “He tricked me.” Mach said. White Horrors hologram appeared above Mach again. “If you wish to leave this room, then you must survive the battle against my elites. Good luck.” White Horror said, chuckling as his hologram disappeared.
Mach scanned the room and found no way in or out of it. So how could Mach fight his elites if they couldn’t enter the room? Suddenly, Mach was hit in the back by, what felt like, a laser blast. Mach collapsed to his knees and looked back to see no one there. “What?” Mach asked himself. He was once again hit by another laser to the shoulder and fell to the ground on his face. “What is going on here?” Mach asked himself.
A flash of gold light appeared in front of Mach and started to take form. Mach looked up to see a White Warrior wearing yellow armor on its body. Mach knew this was White Horror’s elite warrior, the White Elite. A second later, six more White Warriors appeared, each of them was wearing a different colored armor. The seven wearing green, white, blue, red, yellow, purple and light-blue armor, most likely representing the seven chaos emeralds.
The yellow Elite aimed its gun at Mach’s forehead and at the last second, Mach rolled to the side to avoid the laser. Mach got back on to his feet and faced the White Elites. The White Elites disappeared in a flash of light. “They’re using Chaos Control. This is bad.” Mach stated. Mach kept a watchful eye on all of his surroundings to make sure the White Elites would not sneak up on him.
Mach heard a small sound from behind and quickly turned around shouting “CHAOS SPEAR!” Mach sent only a single arrow and was lucky enough to hit the white armored Elite. With the death of the white armored Elite, that left only six more of them. “How am I supposed to beat them when they are using chaos control?” Mach asked himself. Mach was once again struck in the back and fell to the ground. When Mach hit the ground, he felt something drop out of his fur and landed next to him. Mach looked up and saw the purple chaos emerald.
“Of course. Fight fire with water.” Mach said as he picked up the chaos emerald. Mach stood up his feet and raised his chaos emerald into the air. “CHAOS CONTROL!” Mach shouted. At that moment, the hidden White Elites were revealed to Mach. “I got you now.” Mach said. Mach changed into his ball form and used his spin dash to bash through the green armored Elite. With that one dead, that left only five more to go.
The White Elites fired their lasers at Mach, but were avoided when he disappeared into thin air. The White Elite scanned the room for Mach until the heard his voice coming from above them. “CHAOS SPEAR!” Mach shouted. The Elites looked up at Mach, who was in the air, before being killed by the barrage of yellow arrows. Mach landed on his feet and dispelled the chaos control, seeing as how he won. Mach smirked at his victory before disappearing in a flash of light.
Mach then found himself in the center of the White Comet, staring face to face with White Horror. “You've done well, Mach. I'm very impressed you've made it this far...” White Horror said. “White Horror! Your rule ends here, and it ends NOW! ”Mach shouted "Fool! The White Legs are more than superior... we are perfect! Do you really think you have any real chance of defeating us?!” White Horror said. “It’s you who should be scared, White Horror. I made a promise to Kumori to always save the planet she loves so much... and I WILL!” Mach shouted. “Then get ready to die! Let me show you the ultimate power in the universe!” White Horror stated.
Mach jumps onto White Horror, but is swatted away like last time. Mach felt weak again, but he couldn’t let that stop him. White Horror summoned five small meteors and shot them at Mach. Mach had surprisingly regained his strength and used his speed to avoid the meteors. Mach was now hiding behind a rock, thinking of a way to fight White Horror. “If he hits me, I lose my strength. How can I fight someone I can’t touch?” Mach asked himself. “You can’t hide from me, Mach.” White Horror said. White Horror summoned a purple horizontal disk and shot it at Mach’s hiding spot.
Mach quickly reacted and jumped up to avoid the attack. “You are a persistent little rodent.” White Horror said. Mach jumped into the air and Shouted “CHAOS SPEAR!” Over a hundred arrows lunged themselves at White Horror, but the evil alien created a shield that blocked the attack. “Now it is my turn.” White Horror said. White Horror then summoned a red vertical disk and shot it at Mach. Mach avoided the disk, but did not notice the second red disk headed his way.
Mach was hit directly in the back and sent flying back ten feet. White Horror chuckled at Mach as he laid there on the ground, severely beat and bruised. “I told you, Mach. The White Legs are perfect. We can not be defeated by the likes of you.” White Horror said. Mach tried to talk back, but he was too weak to speak. “Don’t worry, I won’t kill you now. I will first give you the pleasure of watching your friends die in front of you.” White Horror said in a cruel manner.
Upon hearing what White Horror had just said, something in Mach’s mind had snapped. “I will especially enjoy torturing that other hedgehog, Kumori. I will make sure she suffers in the most painful way possible.” White Horror continued, laughing cruelly. That was the last straw for Mach. Mach anger supplied him with enough strength to stand up and looked at White Horror with eyes full of hate. “If you even lay a hand on Kumori, I’LL KILL YOU WITH ALL THE POWER THAT I HAVE!!!” Mach yelled in rage.
White Horror was not intimidated by Mach’s threat and sent a punch to his face. But before it could even reach his face, Mach grabbed White Horror’s by the wrist. “What?!” White Horror yelled, surprised that Mach actually caught his attack. White Horror tried to free his arm from Mach’s grip, but failed miserably. White Horror tried to punch Mach with his other hand, but was caught just like the other one.
“You threatened to kill Kumori and I will make you pay with your life.” Mach said. Green energy began to form around Mach body as his rage increased. “What do you think you are doing?!” White Horror yelled. It looked, that for the first time in White Horror’s eternal life, he was scared. “I told you White Horror, your rule ends here, and it ends now!” Mach yelled. Mach’s green glow was brighter then ever and finally released it on White Horror.
“CHAOS BLAST!!!” Mach yelled. The entire room was destroyed in a blast of green light. When the blast was finished, Mach looked down to his feet and saw White Horror’s dead body. “It’s finally over.” Mach said. Then, the six chaos emeralds that White Horror held now floated above his head. The six emeralds were soon joined by the purple chaos emerald that Mach possessed, meaning his search was finally over.
“Finally, I have all seven chaos emeralds. Now with them, I can find the answers to my who my family is.” Mach said with a satisfied smile on his face. Mach looks down to White Horror’s dead body one last time. “And I will find them without you, White Horror.” Mach said as he started to walk away. When Mach left the room, White Horror’s hand twitched for a second before his third eye opened up. “Ha, ha, ha. Thank you, Mach. Now, the White Legs shall rule this world.” White Horror said.
